Nice seeing this coin still alive! I'll mine some... ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Been mining it myself..

How the heck did Wincoin sell for .95 of a BTC on ECOINFUND quite recently? And I cannot get EcoinFund to allow me to Login.
Would have been nice to have been logged in while that happened. Probably just someone buying/selling to themselves, otherwise it was one of the most costly typos I've ever seen ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) . Yeah, maybe test buying/selling. Are you able to log into EcoinFund? I cannot get logged in with the Google+ option they provide. No, not able to log in. My wallet still syncs/stakes fine with the above listed nodes. I am now able to log in. No buy offers on Wincoin as of logging in yesterday, but I might have some other coins to sell there.

So what you are saying is that your "art" is nothing more than a collection of other people's work posted/or printed? Post pictures of your older art, why would we want to invest coin in something that you didn't create.
OK since you really ask for it, here is a photo of some smaller pieces of my old work which I took out to reorganize ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-xpa1%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F10675798_660480467395942_5768067217168794081_n.jpg%3Foh%3Dbce7b17b173eff74e01cd8efcaa7081c%26oe%3D54D6D518&t=664&c=6OPLT9kVi9pBLw) and roiled up bigger paintings ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ffbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net%2Fhphotos-ak-xpa1%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F10686887_660480460729276_7085549252086596595_n.jpg%3Foh%3De6e580f7989a54e55e8a3b01ad8b3790%26oe%3D54D99E08%26__gda__%3D1428183216_d52f2b9ca423e1a4a7e72300b96fd447&t=664&c=G8ZrjWzmNGHUIA) and a closeup of an oil painting ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ffbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net%2Fhphotos-ak-xfp1%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2F1424312_660475380729784_1639628015812323160_n.jpg%3Foh%3D8ce563e68771844e3bbe08abc1fba74f%26oe%3D550DECEE%26__gda__%3D1423617397_df6b48323fada598085e9c55b6d9a2aa&t=664&c=1KDLGxi-T9MsxA) print quality of all paintings I will post on a website soon OMG.. is that one painting of Hillary Clinton? If so, burn that one.. she is a festering bag of crap that wants socialism to ruin our country. IMO...

Most of you must think that CryptoClub is another useless coin or even consider that the project is slowly dying. Believe it or not, we'll try to release before the end of 2014 (accordingly to the time spent on this) a webapp which could evolve into a platform for crowdfunding. Other webapps are in the pipeline (eg trade in goods and services). However, we have frozen the proposed gaming tournaments due to lack of interest (only a few votes). Meanwhile, please take a look at the giveaway initiative and stay tuned ! I think you are doing a great job of keeping CCB alive and relevant. I understand crowdfunding, but how would the webapp be connected to CryptoClub?

Gold back Cryptocurrency eh? i've scouted the forums and posts here, i have yet to see what each coin is worth in gold, and how much gold does the owner have to share out?
Oops, let me read this website..
10 million coins to be mined/ Each coin is docked by 100,000th of a gram 10,000,000X 0.000001 = 10 grams. todays price for that 10 grams: 388.19 USD. TOTAL If these coins become more value then the 10 grams its "Back" by, then is only a scam
wow, i have more then that from recycling gold off motherboards and a boredom killer..
all i can say is smells like a scam..
Hi. You just didn't read enough of the thread to get the whole story here. I already turned in 200k INN for 2 grams of gold in Anthem's vault, so definitely not a scam. The small amount of coins is due to this being a test run to see if there is enough interest for a larger coin amount in the near future. From what I was told by an Anthem rep when I turned in my INN coins, we will almost certainly see a bigger coin amount and possibly multiple gold, silver, etc. assets for coin backing. ~$80 in gold eh? now i could be a troll and go "Pic or never happened!" but alright, you do get 1g gold back for 100K of coins mined, still, there has to ether be more gold added to be worth more, or its not going to go anywhere. the coins cannot have any more value then gold its backed by, if it gets on exchanges and the prices go up, more then 0.0000004USCents per coin, over the price of gold? then what? lest say each coin is worth 0.0000008USCents per coin, that $80 for 1 gram of gold thats worth $40, guess what, i want my $80 worth of gold! gimmie 2grams, braking the 100K coins per 1gram it would be worth 2g for ever 100K coins. This make the coin Centralised, the person who has hold of the gold, owns 100%(make that 98% less now, since you have 2grams) of the shares of the coins. then what happens when the gold all divided up? what is the point of the hashing? are you going to give me the transaction fees in gold? is there even transaction fees on this blockchain? if there is none, whats the point of mining it after?? is the person who originally started the coin going to pay me? why didn't the creator setup coins to buy, and they are virtual tokens to the gold? Hell, isn't the banks doing that already? now, hypothetical question: i have a gold bar (10oz), i want coins for it, can i exchange it for these coins?? or do i go else where and get BTC for it? Can i add in another 100g, making me a 50% share holder on this coin? till people mine my gold up and claim it?(then what for me? what do i get out of it.. hell, what does the owner get out of giving out gold to the miners? are they able to resell the coins back to the public and get gold/money back?) i hate to kill it on you (if i even damaged your faith in the coin), but i cant wrap my head around the concept of this coin I think Anthem simply wanted me to turn in my coins, then put USD into buying more gold and maybe silver through them. I want to see if they really give this a bigger scope on the crypto side. You have good points about centralization and all, but at least these coins have value compared to many crap coins that I mined and got nada out of. Gold could (longshot) go past $2000 per ounce, which would nearly double the value of my 2 grams of gold, right? :-)

So.. anyone get Hobbitcoin to sync these days, or is it finally dead?
Still 22 connections. What's your current block count ? How about solo mining ? No sync since I rebuilt my machine. I get this error in the log: 2014-11-02 00:39:39 AddPortMapping(9756, 9756, 192.168.0.101) failed with code 501 (Action Failed)

Thanks for the interest. I will PM you if the idea starts to pan out.

I like this idea, this may be the solution to human mineable crypto.
Here are my ideas around this.
PoW does two things. First it gives the miners a small amount of coins, lets say 1 or 2 per block. Just to keep the mining incentive going. Each generated block randomly drops a cache of coins somewhere in the world using GPS co-ordinates.
The cell phone apps reward the user with these coins when they get close enough to those GPS co-ordinates.
Sure, most of the coins will be placed in the oceans, so what. So long as everyone knows where the coin caches are they are welcome to travel there to claim them.
The only hurdle is preventing cheating using a hacked GPS system. Maybe cryptography can be used in some way to prevent this. I don't know.
I really like the POW with a small portion of the coins per block making up the random caches, as this removes the need for a pre-mine that most miners and coin investors see in a negative light. I agree that the GPS system would be a huge hurdle, and there should be a workaround to keep the random placement out of the oceans. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Seems like another gimmick coin like CheckCoin... That "sounds" interesting and innovative... But once it gets off the ground after a few months you realize it's pointless.
People are not gonna travel and burn time and fuel for a few obscure alts... The devs must think the whole world is 16-18 yo... or unemployed Dutch slackers.
This reminds me of CLAM which was distributed to previous BTC, LTC, DOGE owners via blockchain analysis... But only 1% were claimed... and the coin is flat as a pancake... and what was the point?
Maybe these guys should meet someone who actually runs a business... As opposed to hipsters who flush money down BTC ATMs for a 10% fee.
Pretty negative response, but I appreciate the reply nevertheless. This idea may not gel at all, only time will tell. Actually, people DO travel locally day to day and also take vacations or travel more for business/work, so there will be plenty of opportunity to grab locale-specific coins. Are most devs 16-18 yo's? I am not a dev and do not know, but as an example of myself, I am not unemployed or a slacker. I work full time and have kids, but I still find time to play Ingress. I will take a look at CheckCoin, as I would never want to reinvent the wheel, so to speak.

Just checking back in on this. Great ideas from those who replied. I need to start mapping this out in more detail.
