41  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Charity Auction] -Australia Charity Auction #2 -Random Lots on: May 05, 2020, 06:46:10 PM
Thanks everyone for the bids so far! I know I’m forgetting someone who wanted to donate something to the last raffle and I told them I’d save it for this one. My short term memory is sometimes cloudy so if this is you plz shoot me a DM if still wanting to donate. My apologies on being disorganized!

 Cool

Yes!

That would be us.
Give me a day or two.

Goed bezig!

Hi,

Hope it's okay if I post this here as an extra lot (think it's midnight in Australia and have a busy evening myself).
I believe I upped our lot in the first auction with an AGI coin (feels like a decade in the past), which the winner of that lot kindfully declined (to save for the next auction):

Would like to contribute:

- 4 AGI singularity (DIY) coins with 8 holo stickers
- 1 Clay Cast proto Monero bar (not yet finished or funded)

The proto Monero bar is made of an alloy called bronze alluminium (copper, aluminium and bit nickel or zinc)
It should be high in strength and corrosion resistance (which would be ideal), but think I did something wrong mixing it
It's tough, really tough, but not that corrosion resistant...
It's been sandblasted, but not stamped (it's really tough)
About the funding: Not yet sure, not that familiar with Monero. Planning to make a series of .999 silver end of this year with this model
If we are to fund it, it would be with a symbolic amount (so don't count on any Monero on the bar)
The winner can decide if the bar should get an ultrasonic cleansing and some protective polishing to get a goldish hue, or leave it to turn black

It isn't much, but hope this adds something

Regards,

Clay

P.s. shipping is on me, but will be standard with track and trace (from the Netherlands), so you might have to wait up to 50 days.
Expedited can save days or weeks, but seems not every time.

Can I have a random spot sir?

I'd buy at 1.3x face

Had some other feedback already, seems somewhat disappointing what these do now, so prob will keep them.
Thx.

Edit: placed at 0.275 BTC + the 1 LTC 3.6 OZT bar

Hi all,

Need to raise some BTC for silver and some tools, so I can keep myself busy the next couple of weeks... or months... or longer.
So hope there is some interest in this set of nice Lealana's.

Wanting to sell: Lealana 2 x 10 LTC funded - first batch (a.k.a. 'error' coins). Sold.
Price: 0.275 BTC (would not mind feedback on pricing due to the LTC price, BTC volatility and the current apocalypse, but think fair - thought wrong and managing expectations, maybe because it's my first set).
Condition: Coin edge bezels have a hue of oxidization, so worth compensating with a LTC bar - Comes with bar nr. 9 of our third series, 3.6 OZT funded with 1 LTC

+ free shipping worldwide.

Why you gotta ruin my fun on the bar  Tongue okay shill me this coin though

Sorry... Just want to up for Australia.

AGI / Singularity is interesting I think, but lack the time to follow everything interesting.
Only read some articles about the founder, the project and it's intentions.

But... AI and Robots, what's not to love (or fear).

I found out yesterday that the little koala in my OP that the woman rescued has since passed.  He didn't even look all that bad.  Just goes to show how dire this situation really is. Lots of work left to do there.  Couple days left.

Yes, let's do a bit extra:

Adding an AGI Singularity Coin to lot 5 if you all don't mind... + Reminder: Shipping worldwide for free from the Netherlands - winner of Lot 5.

Hi,

Yes, the clay is expensive. Needs air vents, it's to compact. But good stuff for simple shapes.
We tried closed casting without air vents. Poor results. Open casting seemed promising as an alternative to graphite molds (with us of 'needle' hole venting').

Yes, the results are inconsistent, so we stick with simple geometric shapes and the logo. Can do some more details, but result will always vary.
Yes, if a detail breaks, start over again...
Resin 3D printers are the best, we use them, are experimenting with wax as well, near perfect detail.
But seems you already have experience with most methods, cool stuff you are making!

Example of our venting:

Good luck, am interested in a spoon or fork...
.925 would be best in my opinion, stronger. If possible use rhodium for finishing gilt layer, would be cool and shiny + somewhat scratch resistent.

Pyrite, in layman's terms, is fools gold (some pun intended).
