Thank. And how expensive are these transactions? And what is their speed? We will soon have answers to these questions when our Test net becomes operational but we have the potential for limitless horizontal expansion so we expect transactions to be very fast indeed. |

So far I have not seen any DAG project doing something useful in crypto space.
I am not sure SMartX will be any better, but maybe I am wrong.
Sooner or later, such a platform will appear. Or perhaps already appeared. I also studied this topic a lot earlier and saw that there were teams that tried to make a similar product, but nothing worked out for them. I communicated with the SMARTX team and I am sure of them, they are real professionals. I think in the future they may become monopolists in this market. That will happen if there's no other project created with similar concept. But as we all know, if someone is successful in his chosen field, others will try to imitate such project. But only the strong ones will prevail. Let us see how far SmartX will achieve in this crypto space. Why imitate if other projects can compete? There are also many such examples. There are other DAG projects, however Block-DAG is a legitimate innovation and improvement over existing tech. How is this different from giants like iota?
We are very different from existing DAG projects such as IOTA, Byteball and Conflux. We are different in both technical solutions and product positioning. SmartX technically uses a block model and the combination of POW+POS to ensure the consistency of the whole network. Unlike the traditional BTC blockchain, a SmartX block is a transaction (TX) and a TX is a block. In terms of operational direction many DAG projects are oriented towards the IOT while SmartX is more oriented towards entertainment and social networks and payments. The project really has a lot of potential, but I think that we still need to work on such aspects as the road map, the official website and social networks.
Very interesting intentions, but an advertising component and an appearance is needed to attract investors, then the project will have inevitable success.
Things are very early in terms of project development. However, as we aren't raising funds and are instead a community project, I would suggest to simply follow along for the journey. All these things; website, roadmap, social networks, will be improved dramatically over the coming weeks and months. We are a serious team from major companies such as Tencent and WeChat. We will be making a serious effort to make this a top-tier project. |

You have a fairly large number of tokens allocated for Airdrop, have you thought about what else to conduct a bounty campaign? It will be very relevant and will have a positive impact on the project.
Hi Rona! When we say AirDrop this does include some bounty events and other ways for community members to obtain tokens. It's best to think of the 43% as simply a community allocation that will be distributed via a range of events over a long period of time to productive members of the community. |

I agree with you, this will attract new users and investors, as well as increase the visibility of the project. Another question, where and how do you want to conduct Airdrop? Most likely right here on the forum. Here you can attract the largest number of participants and distribute information about the project. Airdrop will be more interesting than the Bounty campaign, I think so. As far as I know on the forum it is forbidden to conduct airdrop, or am I mistaken? This is a formality; in fact, there are hundreds of Airdrops on the forum every day and there are no problems with this. An AMA is planned to happen at some point in the near future. We are planning our promotional events now and will make announcements via our channels as to when they will take place and how you can participate. Regarding what Block-DAG means, I suggest reading through our technical whitepaper to gain a better understanding of the project: http://smartx.one/Whitepaper.pdfTo summarise Blockchain-DAG for you: SmartX is a decentralized, minable BlockDAG project with a “transaction-based DAG” structure that can achieve limitless performance expansion, which is essentially equivalent to a traditional blockchain system that can achieve limitless horizontal expansion. It supports the B-DAG technology, which allows the system to integrate the transactions after they are generated.
SmartX has its own proprietary, innovative and all-new DAG structural algorithm - B-DAG algorithm, which can integrate the transaction partitions created by any nodes around the world. This is vastly different from BTC/BCH, Ethereum and other current mainstream POW-based systems, which must hold all transactions as "pending" before packaging them at the same time and yet the transaction blocks packaged at different nodes are still mutually exclusive (although Ethereum has GHOST and Uncle Block mechanisms, these are not enough).
It is the same as a highway that has only one exit. No matter how many lanes or how many cars there are, there is only one exit in the end. The exit speed determines the traffic and those at the back have to queue up. The SmartX project is equivalent to opening up an unlimited number of highways to make limitless traffic expansion possible.
SmartX generates a stable master component (MC) through Epoch-POW and links it linearly according to the DAG-PM algorithm which, if viewed from the perspective of the master component, resembles a bitcoin-like blockchain structure. However, the entire system is a in fact a transaction-DAG structure that can be divided into independent partitions. These partitions do not interfere with each other and PT-Mix is executed after the generation of transactions, hence ensuring limitless performance extension.
With the SmartX structure, double-spending detection will be possible sooner or later. The algorithm is stable and consistent globally. Once a node sees the global data of an Epoch, double-spending detection can be achieved with a stable sorting algorithm (DAG-PM algorithm) |

The airdrop details are yet to be fully released but we will make sure we post across all our social media accounts as well as in this thread when we have further info.
