Normaly it's just a rebranding.
Old folder is : .darkcoin, new folder is: .dash
I took my file wallet.dat of my old folder and past it into my new folder.

Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/Darkcoin/
Unix/Linux: ~/.darkcoin/
After that rename it to Dash for Windows/Mac, or .dash for linux. Next go open the directory and locate the darkcoin.conf file, rename this to dash.conf.
Next, simply update to the newest Dash client and restart. Are you deaf? I just copy my wallet.dat into the new folder generated by the client QT dash->>> .dash So, I run the Client QT dash, sync blockchain, close it, copy my wallet.dat into the new folder .dash and run it again. Very simply procedure With that kind of attitude somebody will surely help you.  |

Before the updater in dash, my darksend balance was +1500 darkcoin, after the update in dash. I just copy my wallet.dat into the new folder dash and started the client-qt dash. 20 dash in my darksend balance !!! Now, darksend starting for to mix 10 dash and after 5 hours 0 dash in my darksend balance!!! What's this technology  Always the same message: Submitted to masternode, waiting in queue...... Monero, SDC are directly anonymous , it happens, try to restart the process no need to disparage DASH for this ... No off course, after my update my darksend balance is not the same, and now the darksend mixing never stop.... But all is ok, Dash is the best... Ok, but after the update my darksend balance is not the same. The project is open source, and I'm sure there are many brilliant minds within the community ready to take over if need be (including the current devs).
But off course like any good troll you only quote what suits you I'll take vertoe's word over yours, since he was in a position to know how replaceable Duffman is to Dark. The rebranding made it clear there is no fundamental tech or branding. It all changes on One Dude's whims. Darkcoin is whatever Evan does. That's why vertoe left and nobody will replace him, much less Evan. Bus Factor = 1. I don't see the issue there. Every coins here depend on a dev or a dev team. So what ? You can check the source at each release, and even during the testing phases. Are you also that vocal on the Monero thread ? |

Probably better if he didn't come back. Don't need things like this happening again. I doubt he bailed because of the name change.. that would be absolutely silly. I didn't like the name either, but I wasn't about to sell all my Darkcoin and run away. There must be more to it than that. Why beg him to come back? Lets move on and look towards the future.
