43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 15, 2024, 07:14:54 PM
What I think we should understand right now is that we may never see the Jose Mourinho that won the E
Uefa champions league with FC Porto, or the special one that won the English premier league with Chelsea or he that one the treble with inter Milan, that Jose Mourinho is gone and that is because the tactics are used then is now outdated.
Football has evolved from those tactics and Jose Mourinho is finding hard to cope with the present style of football, although roma is a mid team I still think same faith would be fall any big team if Jose Mourinho takes over as coach.
44  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Bitcoin future data no longer bullish. on: January 15, 2024, 06:43:40 PM
To sabi whether Bitcoin investors don turn bearish, pesin suppose analyze the BTC futures premium, wey dem still dey call basis rate.

Professional traders dey prefer monthly contracts sake of say dem no dey pay funding rate. For markets wey dey neutral, these instruments dey trade at premium of 5% to 10% to take cover for their extended settlement period.

Data show say di BTC futures premium don stabilize for 9%, wey dey under di neutral threshold — as e no dey bullish like before wey e last reach Jan. 12.

Even though e no reach di bearish level wey go need annualized premium wey dey below 5%, e don clear say Bitcoin investors no dey expect say di price go increase for short term.

Person fit no ever sabi wetin exactly cause di correction wey carry di price go $41,690, and e fit even relate to BlackRocks CEO Larry Fink wey call di spot ETF mere stepping stone to tokenization of real-world assets, wey no dey beneficial for BTC price for short term.
Don't worry yourself too much, all you have to know is that the market in volatile as it rose so it drops, the market has always not maintained a trend and this has been happening even before the BlackRock and ETF saga.
The issue be that people they always try attribute things to the rise or fall of Bitcoin.
For me the current drop is actually an opportunity for people to accumulate more Bitcoin. Although this is not a business advice I believe the price of Bitcoin would soar this year.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Cryptocurrency in Cybersecurity on: January 15, 2024, 05:40:10 PM
Ever wondered if cryptocurrency is the unsung hero in the realm of cybersecurity? It's like the quiet friend who always has your back. Cryptocurrencies, with their decentralized nature, seem to be throwing a subtle shade at the vulnerabilities of traditional financial systems.
Tye decentralized nature of crypto-currency makes it have the positive and the negative side, yes Crypto-currency is an accurate solver of cyber security issues because it can protect your identity and prevent identity theft, it is decentralized making you accountable to yourself and not under the control of external entity and so on.
Also the fact that Crypto-currency is decentralized can be used as a shield to the men of the under world against the government or authorities.
There is no perfect creation and not even Bitcoin, the moment we accept that fact the better.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 15, 2024, 04:59:43 PM
Right now I doubt if Barcelona would win any trophy this season, they played poorly against a team that has been their rival for a long time and the score line was very embarrassing, right now Napoli is not in a good form i stoll see them winning Barcelona.
The Barcelona team needs a complete revival, the whole defense needs to be changed, they are playing like complete amateur and real Madrid exposed them yesterday.
I had always thought that Barcelona were in bad form but I never knew it would get this bad and it's alarming.

Welcome to the forum mate and congratulations for finding this forum, firstly you are new so you are the one doing the learning, I think if genuinely you are new here you actually don't need to post the links to what you have read. And if you have actually read the rules then I expect you to follow the rules you have read.

48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 14, 2024, 08:42:10 PM
I actually never saw a winner between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur I think both team are very evenly matched and they are both not in a very good form, although I think Tottenham Hotspur were just a little bit better than Manchester United but not too much to make a notable differences.
Generally speaking I think this encounter was a fair one and the score line was also fair, it was exciting too seeing that the game produce four goals and both team would now have to manage one point each.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 14, 2024, 07:44:58 PM
The more Xavi Hernandez remains at Barcelona the more the team would be in big troubles, I am not seeing any good tactics from this team and today's match against real Madrid just proves it, Barcelona defense a playing a high line when they can't actually keep an offside, it's three goals to one now with Vinicius Jr getting a hat trick in the first half. I think this game would get worse for Barcelona because I don't see how they want to recover from this.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't only pray for mass adoption, start HODLING!! on: January 14, 2024, 06:45:06 PM
Everyone here is a Bitcoin Enthusiast however that doesn't simply make them Bitcoin investor or HODLer. One can have interest in something and they won't be financially invested into that for sure. That's the same case with Bitcoin. People will buy Bitcoin and may sell however HODLing is difficult. Not every Bitcoin Enthusiast can HODL. And they might need to see a full 4 year cycle in front of their eyes before they believe in HODL.
Well to good extent people here are Bitcoin enthusiast but there are still some here for what ever reason especially to earn from bounty or signature campaign, so not everyone here is an enthusiast or a user of Bitcoin.
Also holding is not the only feature of Bitcoin enthusiasm, there people here only for the short term investment goal, and if you ask them about Bitcoin they may tell you it's going to fade off in future.
Everyone has their believe in Bitcoin regardless if they are here on the forum or actually have some Bitcoin in their possession.
51  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Adebayo Ogunlesi and His Impressive Portfolio on: January 14, 2024, 05:54:45 PM
I don't think their is any link between the purchase of Adebayo Ogunlesi company by BlackRock to ETF or Bitcoin, and mind you Adebayo Ogunlesi did not just blow up this man has been a hustler for a very long time and the popular BurnaBoy has put his name into his lyrics.
One of the thing that caught my attention and gave my respect to Adebayo Ogunlesi is the fact that he did not take the money whole in cash, he took $3billon which is a huge money and the rest in share to me that's a very smart move because the share is definitely going to rise still keeping him earning from the company.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: January 14, 2024, 05:20:47 PM
Aston Villa missed a big chance to hold a good lead over their rivals but playing out a no Goal draw to Everton today, I think this wasn't an easy match but I still expected Aston Villa to beat Everton seeing how both teams has played this season I had my money on Everton to win but this is football, now this gives Manchester city and Arsenal a bigger push to take advantage of this slip up.

I think Aston Villa major issue this period would be consistency, they have been good so far this season but they still have to make it to the finish line in the same manner.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 13, 2024, 07:59:40 PM
You have to be very discipline when you are trying to make something out of gambling be it sport betting or any other betting, yes there is a legit argument that gambling is a game of luck but this shouldn't take away the fact that your chances of winning are higher when you actually study the game and make smart choices.
I see people who drink and even get drunk only to participate in gambling, thats a very bad state to be in while gambling, you tend to lose more because you are playing without a good mindset to control your emotions. Gambling can be fun but it is still serious.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if authorities launch a tax for owning bitcoin? on: January 13, 2024, 06:56:19 PM
I don't know about other countries but their is no government tax for individuals holding Fiat, although banks takes their charges depending on the bank but the government don't directly charge the individual for holding Fiat in my country so why should someone pay any tax for holding Bitcoin.
If there is any tax in that regards then it's an infringement to the person's freedom and right. Holding Bitcoin is not in any way the concern of the government and also Bitcoin is decentralised and no government, or institution can forcefully take your Bitcoin if saved in your personal wallet.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: January 13, 2024, 06:41:36 PM
Manchester city are currently in a tight situation as they are currently behind against Newcastle away, I always believe in Manchester city ability to turn any game around but this particular game won't be that easy, the home support for Newcastle right now is off the roof and there is a lot of momentum in the Newcastle team.
It was a big mistake from Manchester city to give away the lead after taking the lead first.
Regardless I don't see Newcastle wining this encounter and I would rather say their best result is a draw.
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Approval of Bitcoin spot ETFs; a new boat for spammers to jump on. on: January 13, 2024, 05:53:49 PM
Well the forum can't control how many times a topic is repeatedly brought on here, and this has been an issue for a very long time and from the looks of things it's still not going away.
Although I would have to say I have seen some helpful post on the ETF approval now and even some months ago. I think you too must have seen some good post on the topic or some Spammy post. A good way to tackle this is that before any one post about it they do a little research to see if something similar exist.
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 12, 2024, 08:45:04 PM
There a fantastic players who doesn't really need to change their club and any move to the wrong club have alter the whole balance, we saw this with Ibrahimovic when he moved to Barcelona he did not fully make an impact and he had some issues with the then coach Pep Guardiola, also we have seen it with Eden Hazard who left Chelsea in a fantastic form to real Madrid and he never really pick off.
I think Jaden Sancho case is same. A big money move to Manchester United from Dortmund where he had a god status but he wasn't that guys at Manchester United and the straw that broke the camel's back what the issue with the gaffer, I think he would regain his form back at Dortmund.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and his steps in nowadays integration. on: January 12, 2024, 07:35:09 PM
Yes many countries banned the uses of Bitcoin at first but seeing the potential nature of the digital currency, some of the governments ask their financial institutions to unban and accept the uses of Bitcoin in their countries.
I am from one of those countries that had initially placed a ban on crypto-currency but I call it a pseudo Ban because this ban never really existed even during the ban period there were many activities carried out using Crypto-currency. Truth be told it would be hard for any government to full carry out a plan to place a ban on Crypto-currency.

Well Bitcoin network may be anonymous but other aspects like the centralised exchanges aren't and still people make use of the centralised system meaning they still find Bitcoin useful even if requires giving out some of their information out.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: January 12, 2024, 06:56:33 PM
Sevilla is heading for a very bad season they way they a playing. The lack coordination and their defense has been extremely poor, I think that this la liga season has been below average for all team you would have thought they would do better except for Girona.
I think the season would end without Sevilla being in any competitive position and I don't see them making its into any European clubs competition.

Well reading without engaging in what you are reading has worked for you in your own opinion well that's great for you but you ought to know something everyone is different what works for you may not work for another.
There are some who If they don't engage by asking questions they won't understand it so definitely it's wise they join in no matter how low their questions may be it could really be helpful for them.
You can't avoid criticism and if you are doing things right don't run from it rather you learn from it.
