Hello everyone, As usual, we are working on a bunch of things at once and hope to have some very cool and perhaps even groundbreaking announcements soon. Yet until then, we also have a fun little treat especially for the international community. If you're following Isracoin closely, you probably saw we finished developing our coupons system for the Israeli public a few days ago and have put it to the test with really, REALLY nice results (we tested the system by issuing a coupon for voting on HitBTC exchange and what do you know.. we are closing in on #4 on their list!) so people are clearly responding really well to these coupons (and this is just the beginning), but, we figured, why only do this for the Israeli public and not give something cool to our supportive international friends as well? And so, without further ado (yet apparently with quite a bit of gusto), we are glad to announce our Twitter Blitzkrieg Viral System Coupons Thingie! (Codenamed: TBVSCT?!?!?!  ) ok, it's really not all that complicated as it sounds. We definitely want to increase our social media exposure and thus, quickly developed a nice little system allowing anyone to register an Isracoin wallet with a Twitter ID and then retweeting any @Isracoin tweets (up to 10 days old) and immediately get a few coins as a token of our appreciation for helping spread the word! So, step 1: Follow http://twitter.com/isracoinstep 2: register your wallet addr with a tweet that contains " #MyIsracoinAddress iLVFqnEGX3w7JJNY2N6idhByXipUVQRtoc " (with your own wallet address of course! you only need to do this one time. that's it.) step 3: retweet any original @Isracoin tweets less than 10 days old. step 4: Profit! (takes a few minutes for coins to be sent and you need to have >40 followers to participate, with 1 coin for >40 users and an additional coin per 300 more people with a current max of 5 ISR per retweet. you can't get coins for retweeting the same tweet over and over. nor can you register more than one address) Please help us test this system and be cool about bugs and problems as this literally just came out. Hopefully it will bring plenty of new followers and retweeters and be a great tool for propagating all sorts of news that we have in the pipeline. GO GO TBVSCT! (We'll work on the name...) 3-rd place, 10 675 votes in our voting process. Very active community!  Indeed. And Bitcointalk is just a segment of this community. We have other communities (such as facebook, twitter etc) that are very active with thousands of members, as well as direct emails for our Airdrop participants and so on  |

Unfortunately, mods on bitcointalk don't do anything. we've complained to them several times about hate speech and such and never even heard back. |

Heavy weight developer joining the core dev team The Isracoin project is proud to announce that a lead developer of Namecoin has joined the Isracoin core dev team! This marks an important milestone for the project, as this developer will be in charge of core features in the upcoming major wallet update, which aims to simplify and make Isracoin more accessible for the masses, making the coin simpler to use for daily needs. In the next couple of weeks, we will provide details about the first major feature update that will be released as part of the next major wallet release for Isracoin. With this release, Isracoin will be the first coin aimed for the masses which actually takes a step forward in user-friendliness for day to day use. We have quite a few other updates coming in the next couple of weeks, with some more major announcements as well. |

Very, very much so. We're just a quiet community of people who do things, without a lot of talk or hype. that's not to say we don't communicate, but more often than not, there aren't daily news updates. things take time to materialize from concept, through development or other actions and all the way to fruition. Moreover, there is a growing Israeli community for Isracoin which is less and less crypto people (by numbers) and more and more average joes who are getting into it. Hope that answers your question. I was an early supporter of this, not that I am Israeli, but I have a feeling if this was executed properly, it would serve great purposes. Yes, focus on the noncrypto people, get them to use this coin, and educate them how it can work for their business. Then get some major news outlets to report the use of businesses with Isracoin, and all good from there! That is precisely our approach We've already had some good press coverage earlier on and we are working on a variety of things that will garner us some major coverage. It just takes time (and a ton of work). And thank you for your support! |

We could use some help in getting out the word about the Twitter system and about HitBTC of course.
Can we count on you guys to go to as many crypto forums, chats, trollboxes and whatnot as you can and spread the word on these?
We could also really use someone to join the team and take ownership in regards to international communications. developing relationships with all sorts of forum owners, blogs, websites and so on in the crypto world in order to propagate information that is coming out from the Isracoin project.

yup, they been here for a long time. someone turned them on when the price was around 20k and well, you see the price now.
Probably multipools that are auto-trading what they mine, instead of what decent miners do, which is invest med-long term. Nevertheless, step by step the volumes will rise and they will be blown out of the water (and hopefully regret selling their Isracoins, for the rest of their lives  ) |

About time somebody said that! I can't even fathom why people join these discussion groups and rant and insult and generally disrupt everything just to see their crap in print. To those who match that profile, I ask why? Do you not have a life? Do you hate yourself that much that you have troll for hate in return? Go try this crap in the real, face to face world if you want to see the real life results, don't hide yourself behind the Internet... +1 actually... +1,000! And a +V to boot. |

We have just completed the QR Coupons system development. This system will allow us to significantly expand our marketing reach in the Israeli public, by distributing QR Coupons with a few coins in them via posters, t-shirts, high-volume websites that accept Isracoin as means of payment (as a perk for their users), newspapers as a perk for their readers, during TV commercial breaks (to keep viewers watching during the commercials to catch the coupon) and so on. We have already issues a test coupon with a couple of coins in it for each registered Airdrop user, to go vote for ISR on HitBTC exchange. The system seems to be working properly and plenty of people are voting and getting their coupons. (mind you - these coupons are only redeemable by Israeli citizens who are eligible for the Phase-II Airdrop) We are planning all sorts of things with these coupons and are confident they will help improve our market reach. Oh... and regardless of the coupon, we hope you vote for ISR on HitBTC.com (and if you trade on BTER, please vote for ISR there as well) |
