i'm not his fan or anything, but if you blindly buy the coin because he memed it, it's on you. he never articulated why doge is worthy. it's obvious pump for fun for him...

This is the pure example of greediness, they just can't get enough nor get satisfied with what they have gained. At the end of the day, it isn't Bitcoin that is playing tricks in our minds. It is our own desire and greed that triggers all these dilemmas and conflicts.
True. You can feel that way about any asset. The solution is to get busy and have some dopamine that's dependent not on market moves but your own work.

The whole tulip mania happened within a few months in 17th century. Think how fast everything is happening now compared to 17th century because of all the innovation that's taken place. And BTC now is 12 years old.

It can definitely play with you mind. Like when you feel sad when I explodes because you don't have enough, and when you also feel sad seeing it crash because what you have diminishes

I think some kind of 'work' is always needed. Even if you're fully financially independent you need discipline not to slide into bad habits and lose what you have.

the website clearly lacks functionality. the suggested investments are $500, $1000 and up. what if i want to get scammed out of $400 in btc, or $750?

Current USD strength doesn't affect BTC

"Invest $10000 and earn 9% interest per week" OP confess are you the guy behind the website?

gold is at only $1789 right now. it's sad for gold bugs when you've been right about the sucky fiat but picked a wrong (so far) solution.

If Saylor managed to convert some deep pocketed folks with his conference yesterday might see new ATH followed by 50k. But we'll have to wait. Actually the timing of the conference was very good since it coincided with pump.

It could be.
And bitcoin can be use for illegal transaction like -> terrorism, money laundering, tax evasion, and other illegal and subversive activity all benefit from the ability to move money in untraceable ways.
let's speculate what false flag will happen in order for crackdown to occur

Doge, really? Proof that even forward thinking billionaires can be woefully ignorant. As long as he keeps treating Bitcoin (as well as crypto in general) as a joke and not taking it seriously, he can rightly fk off. That guy is a clown. he's just having fun. isn't it entertaining to see the market blow up after he posted not an endorsement, but a meme, and it was not the first time doge appeared in his tweets... I don't really care if he is "having fun". The time for Bitcoin to be taking seriously in the public eye is now. It is a serious, sound financial asset. If he was a responsible person, he'd be telling his followers that DOGE is a complete shitcoin and nothing more, and that they should stay far away from it. Instead, he's doing the opposite. And some people will be taking him very seriously. This is why the public continues to remain uneducated and ignorant about Bitcoin, because (along with all crypto) it is treated like a meme and a scam, even by highly visible people. i'm not his fan or anything, but if you blindly buy the coin because he memed it, it's on you. he never articulated why doge is worthy. it's obvious pump for fun for him...

Obviously, bitcoin is decentralized and the government will never acknowledge it. Bitcoin is now regulated in numerous nations like japan, south Africa, and my nation as well. On the other side, there are still a few nations that permitted their people to utilize bitcoins and they'll never regulate it. Be that as it may, I don't think regulation can be effected on bitcoin's market, since its uncontrollable government can ban the exchange but they're unable to take bitcoin's down.
Severe crackdown can shake the 'digital gold' narrative and kill the high price, but I won't be taken down completely.

The funniest part is that doge jumped the second time he mentioned it. He didn't really say it's a better crypto than others, it was just a meme for lulz and the obedient market moved.

What's gong on?
Why every time there is a increase or decrease There must be a Post coming ? Don't you Know what volatility means? and this is a normal process in this market for years now. How many times do the market needs to Pump and Dump before we finally realize that this is a common ? I'm a noob chart watcher and that shocked me. I'm sorry :Z

Some people say the retail is not here yet because the search frequency of "bitcoin" and "buy bitcoin" is 45% of what it used to be in the end of 2017. What they miss is that in 2017 it was a novelty for the majority hence the higher search rate.
This is not a statement on retail involvement but a critique of one particular argument.
