41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: Worldcup qualifiers - CAF. on: March 27, 2024, 07:15:23 PM
Mail beat Nigeria 2goals to nil yesterday. I was able to watch the game online though it started late in the night. The tiki taka style of football is not for the Super Eagles. We played well but didn’t take our chances, it was very much disappointing. We have tough games coming up in the World Cup qualifiers, I hope the NFF can hire a coach as soon as possible.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 24, 2024, 10:57:35 PM
He shouldn't have returned in the first place, but that was done all because Sir Alex Ferguson called him directly. Yeah, Ronaldo gave Manchester United winners against Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham United scoring Hat tricks against these clubs.
That was a huge mistake for me. There was nothing to be achieved at Manchester United, the club was already shaky at that point as they were yet to recover from the departure of Alex Ferguson. A reasonable deal for Ronaldo would have been to sign for Manchester City. I bet he would still be playing in the EPL if he had moved to City. Pep is not a manager that is afraid of the greatness of a player, and would have built the team around Ronaldo just as he has done with Haaland.
43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when you earn merits in your post or replies. on: March 23, 2024, 10:10:23 PM
I will say the feeling changes with time and rank. Accounts that have a rank ahead of them tend to be more excited about merits than those with legendary rank. IMO the pressure to get merits reduces when one become legendary member. I don’t remember who gave me my first merits and for what post but I do remember the members that supported me during my newbie days.

Did your friend stake $5000 or was it in another currency? I think it’s a bad idea to gamble with emotions involved. He got lucky but betting on your football team because you support them will cause you to lose money. We have had this discussion before and my opinion on betting on and against your football club remains the same.

46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Develop to maintain your bitcoin holding anonymously to the core. on: March 20, 2024, 05:53:11 PM
The secrecy in holding your coins and staying anonymous is an insightment that you've no brothers in the industry because what a Non-Bitcoin investor exhibits at your threats is equal to the task of what a Fellow-Bitcoin investor is capable of.

You can be a part of a online bitcoin community and still maintain your anonymity. There is an advantage to having a community that shares the same ideas as you. I have learned much about wallets and the cons of storing coins in CEXs.

I may Invest $100 today as a beginner to the notice of who brought me in to this bitcoin industrial investment system but must not let him know when I diversifies or when I am buying more to accumulate and holding my assets.

Your investment is yours to make and keep safe. Owning bitcoin is like being your own bank. I have never seen a bank act careless about its security. Telling people details about your crypto portfolio will get you into trouble. I have read stories about people who got robbed physically of their bitcoins. It’s not far fetched to think that the robbers could be someone who knows about their bitcoin investments.

You must remember that bitcoin investment is not a better investment for a cooperative financial affairs. Stay on your privacies.
I do not understand what this means.

48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake and Bruno Mars An Example of How Gambling Addiction Can Affect Anyone on: March 17, 2024, 11:58:02 PM
This is the first time I’m hearing about Bruno Mars is a gambler. I don’t know how the news got out to the media, looks like the situation is so bad that his management can no longer keep it a secret. I hope he starts working on himself and limit his gambling. Fortunately for him, he’s a famous singer and there are available opportunities for him to get the money. A country tour should be able to cover his debts or at least most of it.
49  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] BlackJack.Fun | Signature Campaign | Up to $90/W on: March 17, 2024, 11:11:56 AM
I was just wondering, isn't it taking longer than usual for the selection of accepted participants? I hope @icopress is okay healthwise.
Relax. Starting this conversation will not increase your chances of getting accepted into the campaign. The campaign starts on Monday. The campaign manager will update selected participants before midnight.

Unless you are a newbie experimenting how to use the forum bbcode format, I don't see any good reason why a post should look like this:

No one will take such posts seriously. I will be quoting @tranthidung thread since it covers everything I want to say:

Don't over bold, highlight, paint, glow
Over using those effects is likely distracting readers' attention on those effects rather than what writers want to discuss.

It seems this is a habit for you although it was not always so judging by your old posts. I think your obsession with BlackJack and finding ways to derail discussions on their ANN thread is the reason why you write in such a aggressive manner.
51  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Local crypto exchanges go fit survive for Nigeria? on: March 16, 2024, 09:08:46 PM
The Securities Exchange Commission of Nigeria (SEC) don reason to increase the registration fee for crypto exchanges from ₦30 million ($18,620) to ₦150 million ($93,000). E be like say Nigeria nor want make local crypto exchanges come out for we country cos I nor understand this kind leg wey them dey bring so. We still dey judge Binance matter, them dey another side dey won frustrate tech startups.

~snip~

You are quite active on this thread and the coloring and bolden texts makes it hard to miss your posts. It’s obvious you have a problem with the casino. I went through your scam accusation thread and I can’t find a good reason why you opened a scam accusation while admitting you cheated the system. What’s even more interesting was that there wasn’t a problem with your withdrawal being withheld, you just didn’t like the fact that you were caught exploiting bugs in the system at the time.

Now that I do not share the same opinion as you, am I getting a retaliatory feedback because that seems to be your style.
53  Other / Meta / Re: Reasons of be inactive on: March 15, 2024, 10:01:52 PM
I don't like posts that lay emphasis on signature campaign as the reason for the forum being active.  I don't think the presence of signature campaigns is detrimental to anyone in the forum.
It’s worth noting that boards where signature is disabled such as Serious discussion and Ivory Tower also have traction as much as other boards on the forum. Signature campaigns play a significant role in generating traffic on the forum and I also don’t support the notion that campaigns are detrimental to the forum.
54  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / How we fit benefit from FG clampdown on Binance? on: March 15, 2024, 09:42:10 PM
The whole country know say federal government dey give Binance serious wahala for the past one month now. Them say the exchange follow make naira dey fall. How them take reach that conclusion I nor know but that one nor be wetin I won discuss with una today. As kasala don jam Binance, e nor go bad make our local crypto platforms step up to fill the space wey Binance don leave. Bitcoin Chief, Patricia, Roqqu and the rest for seize the opportunity, add more features to their platform, instead of just being p2p platforms, them fit become exchanges. With the problems Binance users for Nigeria dey face, e nor go hard for them to get the volume in a year or two.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 15, 2024, 08:12:05 PM

Arsenal vs Bayren Munich
This is a hard one to predict. They have been quite different from the last time they met. I'll bet on Bayren Munich as German playing style dominates over English.

Historically, Arsenal doesn’t have a good record against Bayern Munich. They will be looking to change that story in the quarter finals. I get the feeling that Arsenal fans are quite confident in their abilities. Based on current form, it’s Arsenal for me. Bayern Munich have been struggling from the Bundesliga to the Uefa champions league. They even struggled against Lazio in their first leg. On paper, it’s looking like Arsenal are favorites to win this fixture.
56  Other / Meta / Re: Reasons of be inactive on: March 15, 2024, 07:43:03 PM
The forum is a big place. I really don’t pay attention to other members posting regularity. I would notice if they are part of my local board or we often find ourselves commenting in the same topics. I think this reduction in activity is because users who are not currently in a signature campaign post freely since they do not have any quota to meet. This is good because we will have less generic posts flying around in the forum.
57  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my post deleted? on: March 15, 2024, 04:37:08 PM
But my post was not a scam attempt... I just created a simple tool which provides notifications off all newly listed coins on Raydium? It is a simple tool but its something I created and which is in the works on to add more features but I wanted to share in case anyone wanted to show support or found it of interest...

Honestly don't understand how it is considered a scam attempt or shilling if one I have no relations to any such coins as this bot is grabbing all coins listed and two I make no money by doing this ATM.
Like I said before, it is likely your post was deleted because you posted it on the wrong board. Scams are not moderated on the forum which means that your post was not deleted because of suspicions of scam. The community’s way of handling scammers is using the trust system to alert everyone of the risks of trading with such persons.

This is a pseudonymous forum which emphasizes personal freedom and therefore also personal responsibility, so scammers are common. When trading, it's best to assume that everyone is trying to scam you, and act accordingly. Use an escrow, and take note of each user's trust ratings next to their posts and on their profiles. When you are more familiar with people around the forum, you should define your own trust list rather than using the default.

There are a number of reasons why posts are deleted from the forum; plagiarism, off-topic, low quality e.t.c. In your case, it seems you made the post in the wrong board and someone reported it. Scams are not moderated on the forum so your case is definitely not the mods calling your project a scam.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 14, 2024, 09:22:52 PM
Yes, Arsenal had to fight hard to get a place in the quarter-finals, but I think they deserved to win it. Arteta managed to take his team to the quarter-finals and he became the other Spanish manager to reach that stage. Previously, Pep Guardiola, Xavi and Luis Enrique had reached the quarter-finals and we hope that the competition between these managers will be presented in the quarter-finals.
Arteta should focus his attention to the champions league. Arsenal need to win a champions league title. It is the most important title for them in my opinion. They have never won it. Winning the champions league will give Arsenal fans the bragging rights they need to get back at their rivals in the premier league.
