Anybody bold enough to make any predictions on direction of ESP2?
What if there are some (as to be expected) that hold ESP and fail to act and swap? Are they shit out of luck in that they cannot swap it later?
Will this determine actual supply at that time?

Everything depends on the merged actions of devs and holders of the major part of ESP. I think some weak hands that held the amount of first giveaway has already gone forgetting about this project (I want to see how many ESP 1 will be on yobit at 10 nov). Who holds a huge amount of ESP could be in contact one another in order to support the devs improvements and spread the word. I have already a project in my mind that can use ESP as one of payment methods! In my opinion (veeeery personal) if everyone do well his job (I'm always positive) ESP can reach from 15 to 30 sat. I'm talking in a long term mindset. |

That's a great idea, how much do you think though?  How much?! Now that's a tricky question. How much value has 1 ESP (or we wish to have it)!? Why is BTC better than ESP? Because it was the first!? Is ESPs real price 1sat or 1400sat as XRP, that has 35 billion available supply (and will have 100 billion total). Is XRP better than ESP?! If we belive (I sure do) that ESP will someday be in top 50 with 1USD/ESP or even more than the real bounty at this moment for one chinese exchange would be 1 million ESP. If we don't see the real value of ESP (best ever community and DEV team), than we cann offer 1 billion and continue to sell ESP for 36 latoshi and maybe someday (never) we will start selling ESP for 1 sat. So to summarize: 1. we have to stop selling for latoshi (if not before, than after SWAP has ended) and start with satoshi to gain some real volume and to wake up whales. 2a. we need more exchanges 2b. we need chinese exchanges... like SIA did and has at the moment with 19 billions a price 71sat/SC 3. this should be updated http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/espers/ 4. another bounty campaign; signature, language, etc... 5. pray  I agree! It isn't mandatory but it is definitely recommended. Especially from yobit, since they're known for issues/extreme delay with swaps/upgrading wallets/etc. so if i already holding my coin from my wallet i don't need to swap it up? just curios mate i have some esp from my desktop wallet so can i keep it there? Just keep you Espers on your desktop wallet and wait for the news of coin swapping, as the Dev said already before, coin swapping will be done through exchanges thats the reason that they are contacting them as well, so I am thinking it will be automatic once you got your coins on the exchange... so right now its best to pull them out especially from those exchanges that are experiencing withdrawal issues like novaexchange at the moment and yobit which might just hit a problem. Yeah, i withdrew 413.000.000 from nova. Sended 11 LTC to nova again for trading esp (made a couple million profit again, as good as all buying and selling there past days is done to and from me). Will withdraw that to the day b4 the swap. Dont like to have it there on such events. everything is clear, thank you guys! |

One of the main reasons we were trying to make a CPU only coin is that only then will it be acceptable for everyone to mine. it was more then a gimmick. if everyone could mine with no resources taken while they mine something else. then we wouldn't have an over supply issue. however because some people had a GPU miner that was far more profitable with their high end rigs. we had to conform to stay fair. i do not believe we will hard fork unless absolutely necessary. What i see happening in the worst case scenario. the community will lose faith, or not see a profit and try to dump everything. in this scenario we will keep developing. when what we promised is made the community will come back and buy back at a low price (which will change making the coin less for community and more for share holders. because there will be a few who will stock pile their coins and buy more at incredibly low prices. The best case scenario is that the community does not lose faith, spreads the word and keeps espers alive while the developers work. and those members who kept the community alive will have more ESP then anyone who comes in once the functions have been implemented. Both of these scenarios are acceptable to us. if people can make money off of us then great. if people cant make money off of its then thats fine to. our goal wont change. it is because of this mindset that allows me to say with full confidence that The developers will continue what they do best. the project will never truely die. and we will make everything we planned for. Is there a miner that will work with an HD 6450 yet?
I will contact the developers and see what we can do. to accommodate this. In both your scenarios, you are making a few individuals holding a majority of coins and later they keep dumping with slight movement of the price, as they will be making a lot of money. A coin's success is dependant on the distribution and only a healthy market can attract more people and will sustain in the long run. That's what I think: Esp devs are much confident in innovations they are about to propose, and many weak hands will have left the project as they see it no longer give them a huge return. That's why they are not much concerned about the market excitement. As the innovations take place, strong holders and new investors will come across this coin. As they told, it's up to us believing in this project or not (this PROJECT, not this fast return of investiment in a big pump that end in itself). If this is a good choice or not we don't know, but crypto world is a dangerous place and every dev is making his game in his way. We have to deal with that! It's a hard time for community, now I cannot even login Yobit becouse of a glitch in the e-mail system and I have my esp in there, but I still believe in this project and I'm thinking about a new app in which Esp can be one of the payment methods if my millions will give me some initial amount to spend for this project (and if Yobit will move his gold ass to resolve my issue). I'm still here!
