Weekend had a peak of support requests from portuguese newcomers.
We are getting lots of people that never would consider start using any other cryptocurrency. Of course price to pay is very high in support efforts to make them start, from understanding the idea of a p2p cryptocurrency to install some mining software, register and participate in a pool and all that kind of actions anyone already mining another cryptocoin don't need to learn.
But that's the plan, right? A cryptocoin for Portugal. It means we must have portuguese people there...
To solve some of those problems we updated portuguese website with additional info and howto http://cryptoescudo.org/iniciacao.htm and http://cryptoescudo.org/minera.htm and with a mining software pack (all that only in portuguese language for now... sorry).

your link doesnt work, but i have heard too about some speculation about the btc price in 5 years or soon, some people ask that bitcoin will grow to 10 or 30k$ at the end of this year. thats not so impossible, cause if we look the fact, bitcoin will replace the paper money so if it really reach his goal 1 btc will match for many thousands $, thats just my opinion. btw i hope cesc will grow up, maybe if christiano ronaldo help us during the brasil's soccer mundial it could help  seriously you think 1cesc will worth 1000$ or 2 btc? so when it will happen, how btc will coast for you? 30k$ 10k$?
btw, i hope you will hit 1k$ but imo thats seems very very very hard, watch aurora and others coins, but maybe your coin could be more attractive than aurora due of 220millions you keep and not give with the other premines coins.

Our plan is to reach 1 000 € in up to 25 years. We are getting a good reception with portuguese people that never consider using any cryptocurrency before knowing about CryptoEscudo. Our weekend days were spent supporting users about cryptos and mining (hardware, software, pools, wallet, payments, everything you can think...). Of course we are far from our minimal goals. Os ultimos dias foram ocupados em basicamente 2 coisas:
1. Dar suporte a pessoas que aparecem a perguntar "Como minero, como uso, como instalo?" desde que instalam a carteira até que começam a minerar.
2. Tentar criar pacotes de software e instruções de utilização dos mesmos para pôr pessoas que nunca se aproximaram de uma crypto a participar no CryptoEscudo.
E pode-se dizer que ainda ninguém em Portugal está envolvido tão poucos são os envolvidos.
Assim:
Algum voluntário por aqui para colaborar no suporte por email a crypto novatos?
Outra pergunta que nos foi feita: "Onde se podem comprar Cryptoescudos?"
Não estavam a falar de pagar com BTC, de que aliás pouco ou nada ouviram falar, claro. Queriam pagar com euros.
Alguém interessado em criar uma plataforma de compra/venda direta entre portugueses e eventualmente servir de "escrow"?
Foi isto o nosso fim de semana. Descurámos um bocado aqui o "crypto meio". Vamos tentar andar mais por aqui nos próximos dias.
Fizemos alguns contatos com exchanges ainda sem resposta. Também não admira... levámos dias e dias a aparecer no coinmarketcap.com o que foi uma surpresa muito desagradável.

As vossas sugestões são bem vindas.
Concretamente quanto à ideia dos quisosques é muito interessante mas infelizmente não nos podemos desdobrar e andar pelo país ao mesmo tempo que cuidamos do código, da rede, da assistência aos iniciantes em cryptomoedas, e da promoção de uma maneira mais geral e abrangente. Mas seria muito interessante se alguém quissesse tomar a iniciativa de fazer esse tipo de promoção.

boas ,gostaria de deixar uma ideia para a distribuição das criptomoeda ,porque não como muitas outras atraves do facebook postando o endereço da carteira, ate porque os mais interessados em criptomoedas tem certamente internet, porque se for complicado o processo do pedido as pessoas podem não mostrar interesse, tenho observado que muitas pessoas mesmo não persevendo nada de internet tem facebook ate pessoas com uma certa idade, sei tambem que pode haver ablidosos que podem ter mais que uma conta mas isso e uma minoria , mas as vantagens de adesao são vem maiores, outra era atraves de uns representantes em pontos estrategicos como por exemplo, c.comercias, lojas ,estaçoes ,doar directamente para uma carteira movél.
aqui deixo o meu contributo nao sei se serão as melhores mas como disse são ideias.

Well the difficulty has dropped 5 fold due to disinterest. So poor folks who bought at 450 are getting screwed right now in a way. Miners can dump for 100 and make a profit. An inundation of the market will paint this coin as worthless. It will be down to 50 satoshi if something is not done to bring more miners on to raise the difficulty of mining. You are gonna need them.
Maybe I am also missing it, but you need to know it is customary for this type of coin to have the premine addresses posted plainly. I am not saying the premine is being dumped, but you should try to create as best an image as possible for yourself. People don't want to do detective work on the blockchain.
I agree with the other poster, I think you are underestimating the importance of this forum. This is THE lifeblood of getting a community to jumpstart your coin. There should be a ton of information here. Look at other threads if you think this thread is cutting the butter. It isn't, sorry. I will keep an eye on it and maybe jump back in. Good luck.

Yes... You are right. We probably are losing all crypto people here (portuguese or not) because we are trying to gain portuguese non crypto people. We have several requests from absolute non crypto people from Portugal about... accepting CESC, mining CESC and so on still unanswered/ on work because they are too many to cope with and must be addressed in portuguese language were there is nothing previously done (not even a portuguese pool for newcomers first steps). But of course, as you said here, the mining and lifeblood comes from here for now. But the truth is that we are not a pump and dump coin and for sure we can't compete in some ways other coins surely can. Surely we can try to improve quantity and quality of information available here. And we will do it. And by the way... thank you... we welcome all suggestions and help! |
