so after the update is released I finnaly want to withdraw my coins from the pool... However.. I cant find the freakin wallet for download on the website!?  There is a download button in the menu on the website and in the original post of this thread. We were down for a small maintenance. Up again. www.e-gulden.com/download |

KGW Implemented please update your wallet to version 1.1.0.0 We've released another update today (26 march 2014). Kimoto Gravity Well has been implemented and will start at block 45000. Make sure you update your wallet as soon as possible. You can download the new wallets (version 1.1.0.0) on the download section of our website.

Quick update:
We will be implementing KGW later this week, before Sunday's distribution launch. We will notify you all when we push this update. N-factor will follow later.
We understand it can be quiet confusing with these patches after eachother but we feel it is necessary for our launch to succeed.

To answer some of your questions...
Starting this Sunday, we will launch a request page for the lovely citizens of Holland. On this page Dutch citizens will be able to request 25 EFL per household. From this moment on a lot of our time will be spend on informing everybody that a modern version of the Gulden is back and there is 25 EFL waiting to be redeemed. We expect the amount of request to start off rather slowly since we haven’t actually send out any press releases to the general public yet. That aside there's still a lot of people that are not familiar with crypto, Bitcoin, let alone the Electronic Gulden. In addition we will be writing user friendly manuals for the general public, explaining what EFL is, how it can be used and what plans we have for the future. Our goal is to not only inform the dutch citizens of the Electronic Gulden but also get them exited to start learning more about cryptocurrency in general.
Using the 25 EFL reward we're going to be able to draw a lot of positive attention to the Electronic Gulden and hopefully attract a lot of new people to the crypto market in general. As we're shooting out messages to the Dutch people a lot of more requests will be coming in rapidly. Thankfully most of the verification work is done automatically. That aside, there's actually quite a lot of people that have already offered and helped us voluntarily. This probably has a lot to do with the nostalgic value the gulden still has in Holland. As long as this trend continues we'll be able to work around the clock and put in the required man hours.
Right now we're actually more worried about the amount of questions coming in by e-mail. Our support team has been spending most of their time making sure no e-mail is left unanswered. We will be adding a forum to our website ASAP, hopefully this will result in less stress on our support team and allow the community to help us out. If it doesn't we'll have to add more people to our support team very soon in which case we will most likely add a donate button to the bottom of our website.
We're really looking forward to handing out EFL and spread the positive news all around our beautiful country!

Also don't forget that the hashrate is still low untill media press kicks in this week and distribution goes live I ask again: what media? I live in Holland so I'll check to see if it's real. Unless you get this in the "Telegraaf", "Algemeen Dagblad", "DWDD" or "RTL4" it doesn't make much sense. Your absolutely right. We've hired a communications manager who is currently working on writing several press releases. These will be sent to several well known dutch news papers, journalists and websites. We'll make sure everything is done to inform the Dutch citizens about the distribution, and we will continue to do so untill the premine has been handed out. How many people are working on verifying the "proof of residence"? I could sit here and answer your questions all day. Unfortunatly I don't have the time to go into all the details right now. I would if I had the time because transparancy has always been very important to us. However we have all been working around the clock testing our systems. So I'm going to ask you trust we do our jobs right and wait untill we go live. Right now we are very busy testing our verified proof of residence system and are making sure we're doing everything we can to make sure the distribution will start smoothly next week. Thanks for your concern but we've always felt that we are exactly where we want to be and have the right tools and people to make this happen. |

please implement kgw , the huge difficulty retarget will kill this coin pleeeaseee
As much as we want to, we are first focussing implementing the N factor. We know there is still alot work to do. Working as hard as we can. |

Sourcecode is now updated (24 March 2014). Difficulity will jump every 512 blocks and the target spacing is now set to 2 minutes.
Update will start at block 45000. If you can compile the wallet yourself you can start updating. However, we will be compiling the wallets aswell and we will send out a message when they are ready for download. Please make sure when updating that you ONLY override the QT wallet and not your .wallet file. |

We have a bunch of developers that are working on this project. No need for coingenerator. The difficulity jump will be adjusted to 512 blocks at block 45000. But its not build in yet. It will today or tomorrow. We will make sure to keep everybody up to date with the new compiled wallet's etc. The changelog on the website was not accurate. Its fixed now. Sorry for the small errors |

Where is the location of wallet.dat of this coin? I cannot find it in normal %appdata/roaming% folder.
It's in the same place your wallet software is in (the main folder). Can you point me to specific path please. It is not located where other altcoins wallet are. No it's in the folder where your egulden-qt.exe is located. That same folder with the wallet itself. We choose this location because it is easier and more userfriendly to find for unexperienced cryptocurrency users. Also please note: we are not the same guys that made a post about eGulden in the Dutch section on this forum. We have nothing to do with them. |
