41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: July 03, 2014, 05:21:28 PM
The market cap of LTC isnt a good determination of if new equipment is a good idea or not. Folks were mining BTC with GPU's and CPU's when it wasn't worth anything. It may impact ROI, but that's just a may which is short-term, and even then the gold-strikers have to risk something.

True, but the times were different. We have new alts (e.g. anonymous ones in DRK, XMR, etc.) that are taking market share and not to mention it has become a downward moving market. That said, this area is still just getting started and I wouldn't be shocked to see LTC go back down to .0035-.007 or so and then recover later. At that point though and with a high difficulty, mining would make little sense, but buying would. I would probably get back in some down there.

I think the price is very artificial right now, and there have been some unusual dumps too. It can be taken any which way, but my gut says people are trying to keep it low right now to buy it up. Because fairly soon, the difficulty is going to go up a notch. And then when KNC delivers it's going to blow off the charts.

talk about denial, can you read a basic chart?

43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 01, 2014, 05:28:56 PM
With the S3 orders now clearly stated on the website as not shipping until 10th - 20th, im considering that a preorder and im not ordering again until Bitmain go back to the tried and tested "In Stock, postage within 48hrs of payment".
Sorry, not gonna get bitten by the preorder frenzy buy in ever again. BTC price varies way too much and from now till the 20th worst case scenario is 2 difficulty increases.
Will definitely have a look at anything that pops up about the upgrade kits though. Im sure that any kit has to be classified as computer parts which should attract a lot less import taxes.

Well look at that, there is one person who seems to have learned something of the forums.  Good on you!

44  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: MINING for DobZombie WEEKEND - June 28 & 29 ! Help him out please ! on: June 27, 2014, 05:53:24 PM
I have pointed one miner @ 17uWCajedEVHJgds2Fzm752By1YVG4wPN2 due to him being and old school miner. Even though it's Eligius, with that idiot lukejr associated with it, I can over come that for a weekend.

At least you did not pick EMC/BFL pool, which would have been a no go.

Have a good weekend everyone.

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] Solo Mining Pool on: June 23, 2014, 11:21:35 PM
One more thing, you would want to merge mine namecoin along side bitcoin keeping those blocks as well for more income.

good luck.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] Solo Mining Pool on: June 23, 2014, 07:28:48 PM
A fair fee would be 24 to 24.5 to block finder the rest to pool operator. Yes, that would include transaction fees to pool.

51  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: March 14, 2014, 03:28:51 PM
Agreed, shipped without a psu price would be nice, possibly in the future.

52  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.998 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 13, 2014, 06:09:22 PM
so bad i have lost all faith i bitcoin and am thinking of deleting my wallet with the btc in it and maybe a hammer to the miners all 700 ghs that is how bad it was

Please do this.  And, remember kids, pics or it didn't happen.  Wink

i want to see the bitcoin community's reaction to this before i decide so far i have been attacked by the  people that  have some thing to do with bitmaintech. the first 2 days
getting attacked for loosing faith is not restoring my faith. not sure if this is how i feel or if this is a over reaction to bad costumer from bitmaintech/sushi the warranty department. and if i do this you can bet you ass i will make a video if i do this. that would have to go viral.
by the way i have not had any thing to do with the bitcoin community this warranty issue is my first look at the community from the inside that was not being aired as a news post so far i do not like the community i have seen. Hope this changes.
I am not a social media user this is a painful thing for me to do but trying to warn others is worth the pain.
bitmaitech is a scam do not use

My vote is for you to destroy it all.  I hope you have some Avalon hardware as well, they deserve it even more!

Checked an old account a few days ago,

0.32 cents.   With no way to pull it out, I left it.  I see a few names on this list that said they were pumping lots of fresh fiat into gox all month.

good luck.

Ya maybe cause I'm tired of listening to your faggotry...  Angry
I can submit an order if I damn well want.

It doesn't say you have to pay it all at once nor do I even want these useless units since the price per Bitcoin is now under $450 a coin.

It's not my fault Bitmain's Bitcoin to USD price is depleting every second.  Roll Eyes

Hey asshole. I can do whatever the fuck I want you arn't the fuckin Boss of me.

I don't want this fucking unit which is why I want my fucking money back!

Kindly eat a bag of dicks as you are not fuckin Bitmain and have no fucking say in this...  Angry

Now this is my kind of Rabbi!  Sends free money to companies for his daily good deed, and has one hell of a mouth.
