41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 06, 2014, 08:01:39 PM
I don't get what's happening. There was a brief spike yesterday around midnight (Europe), then it fell back down during the day, and it's up to 460 again at the moment. All while the Chinese are supposedly either sleeping or on holiday.

Does the collective wisdom of this thread (not being sarcastic here) predict another fall to ~440 in the next 24 hours, or are we slowly chooing to the moon already?

I for one have put AnonyMint on ignore and continue to watch the thread for insightful discussion. Perhaps more of you should do the former too? Smiley

So... are we still in a bull trap or will this go to the moon already?

Next 8h~ will tell, wonder how 4h macD will form

Pointing out my ignorance again, I don't understand the meaning of "4h macD". Could you please clarify? Huge thanks!

Its a largely low % indicator that a lot of people want to use as if its a high % indicator resulting in a large % of losing trades.

Thanks Smiley

Here's hoping BJA either sold a little on the spike or found something to hock.

If the posted bids down to 400.01 were dumped at market, they would buy up to 490.76

I closed my margin long @ $478 and took a good pounding. My biggest loss ever. Note to self: Never hold a margin position overnight.

note to all : NEVER NEVER EVER TRADE ON MARGIN!!! Wink jmho!!!

I'll play the ignorant n00b card again... could you please explain what trading on a margin means?

In my defense, it does say "Newbie" on the left Smiley

Please forgive my infinite ignorance, but what does ATH mean?

Is this the most beautiful capitulation signal ever?

Two bullish indicators:

1) Level of Doom&gloom. Full absence of train pictures Smiley Talks about previous ATH, double digits etc.
2) On weekly chart - red candle, 23% down, without wisk. Found only one similar one, end of June, before the recovery.

Please forgive my infinite ignorance, but what does ATH mean?
