41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: August 10, 2018, 03:08:17 PM
I rarely participate in the signature campaign if I see that the project has not collected at least softcap. It's definitely hard to find a good campaign with a small number of participants.

Yes nowadays everyone seems to be doing signature, even people who just joined the forum...I was here months and months learning about this stuff before starting doing that, now everyone is doing it, and of course the rewards are shrinking
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying NEO on: August 10, 2018, 03:05:19 PM
One of the most serious options in my opinion of investing in coins representing the platform is NEO, this project has great chances to still be able to become a decent version of the replacement for ETH but as usual it all depends on the developers

I would not go so far that NEO will replace ETH, in fact there are few ICO on the NEO platform to date. However the ones I saw often were serious projects with a quality token. But most ICOs pick Ethereum over NEO right now for some reason.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying NEO on: August 09, 2018, 03:20:19 PM
In my opinion NEO is the best and potential coin in the crypto world. It has more advantages than ethereum. Now NEO prices are still down so it is time to buy and hold for long term.

I agree regarding NEO, it should at least have the price of Ethereum as it is very similiar in it's use case and it is even more advanced as transactions are faster. My target for Q4 is therefore that it can do easily around 10x.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ZILIQA , to buy or not? on: August 07, 2018, 07:43:27 AM
Strong buy for me, according to many experienced people in this field, for instance Iaan Balina, ZIL has the best shot becoming the Number 1 next gen blockchain. Not Wanchain, not Rchain, not EOS, ICON or how many are out there but he thinks it will be ZIL. And I think there is a high chance.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: August 07, 2018, 07:37:13 AM
Unfortunately, sometimes it happens. In the period of the general fall of the crypto-currency market, many good ICO projects do not raise enough funds and then bounty hunters get nothing for the work done. From this now no one is immune. However, now we need to carefully choose ICO projects for accession. You can join only when ICO commands have already collected softcap, to guarantee at least some payments.

It‘s a good idea to focus on projects that have at least reached their softcap. Last year that was not really neccessary but this year many projects either do not reach the softcap or are traded at a fraction of the ICO price. In both cases supporters got nothing or near to nothing. Another idea is to take a break and come back when market recovers. I only do the current bounty to support Eloncity as I really love the project, but don‘t expect much rewards from doing the bounty.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Market all RED today. I am so scared on: August 07, 2018, 07:24:18 AM
BTC $5800
ETH $395
NEO $29
BTC $23
XRP $0.48
...
I lost 70% of my investment. WTF is going on?? I am really scared.
Does this real the bubble will explode in 2018?
Please give some advices.
Thank you so much!
This is common thing sir so dont be afraid and be patience. The rejection of ETF proposal from CEO of gemini really impact the market. Just take it easy i believe in this august market will increasing again.

The rejection of the Winklevoss brothers filing means nothing. Anyone who has done a bit research by now should have realized the ETF approval by the SEC is just a matter of time. CBOE has done their homework and they will be able to get the filing approved. Besides the fact they are a leading financial institution that has a proposal that ticks all the boxes including insurance...this is the same organisation that convinced the SEC to approve Futures last year. You have to dig deeper instead of staying on the surface. Then you will also sleep better.

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Whoa! Do you think Electroneum centralized mobile miner a step too far? on: September 12, 2017, 06:57:26 PM

After much debate in the last week between if Electroneum could pull off producing the first safe, sucessful coin to be mined on mobile phones, their dev just posted this today.

As for the mobile mining, do you have dater in regards to sustainability? Could it destroy the phone over time? Or is the load the phone has to cope with reasonable?

The mobile app is centralized and runs off a twin algorithm that emits coins from the blockchain at approximately the same rate as the full miners based on a CPU benchmark of the phone. This allows the phone to run without getting hot and without using tons of power and bandwidth that previous attempts at phone mining have needed. But remember, they are not bringing blockchain utility, they are bringing a different utility - they are bringing on users at a ridiculously low CPA, and allowing Electroneum to have viral growth.

We’ve combined a decentralized blockchain with a centralized viral marketing app, that encourages the adoption and accumulation of cryptocurrency through “gamifying” the experience. We call it the Mobile Mining Experience. Our blockchain emits coins to our mobile app users for bring a different utility to the blockchain. Electroneum full miners earn the most coins and that runs on Windows, Linux and Mac computers. They bring the utility of blockchain administration and are rewarded with Electroneum coins. The mobile miners bring the utility of viral marketing to Electroneum and are awarded with a number (smaller) of Electroneum coins for doing so. It's done in a way that encourages app usage. We've essentially gamified the mining experience, making it appeal to mobile computer gamers (there are over 2 billion of them!).

I myself dont see much of a problem with them having a central processor. Iota brought returns in the thousands of percents and they have a central part called the "coordinator" they use as well.

The first response was,

We know electroeum needs to be accessible to people mining on mobile phones. We all know the result so far, its horrible. They have figured out a way to do this by having a specialized algo and a processor. The people mining with their computers  cpu on the main algo will be powering the blockchain. This means it is still decentrailzed.

Some people may complain that it has a centralized componet to the mobile miners, but it doesnt bother me. Im here with what I see as cryptos first chance to really be taken to the masses. We see they have the tech innovation necessary to come thru on their claims to take mining a cryptocurrency to 2 billion users of mobile devices.

It also cant be cloned as easily, or the innovation stolen with it needing a central processor as well.

They are powerhouse marketers, and now that these guys have added gaming to it as well, they will easily penetrate the market with this.

You can say its not decentralized enough for you, but I think someone would be hard pressed to say this is going to lose you money buying in at $.0067.

With the app downloads reaching just 5 million users, which is low in that industry, it would have far above the amount of users as Bitcoin. This you bought for $.0067 and Bitcoin is valued at $4000++. There will be many LEVELS of those buying and selling as the price establishes itself, which call me crazy, but with:

A. An innovativation in cryptocurrency by being first to sucessfully take effectiive mining mobile.

B. Have the product finished at the time of crowdsale

C. Have top of the line, ultra rich, real world marketers behind it.

these things make it pretty hard NOT to go up.

Ive seen much, much more, done with way, way less here.

Ladies and gentleman, I am very, very bullish on this after learning about it in the last few weeks. I agree with blackwidow on this. What do you think? Have they gone too far to produce a mobile miner that wont ruin your phone?

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Electroneum ⚡ Token Sale Sept 14th Mobile Mining Crypto Coin on: September 10, 2017, 11:45:12 PM
I started that thread.

This project is so good people think it is impossible. I read that the cryptonight algo is doing the best out of the few apps out there there that are trying to mine coins. My thing is if these guys are going into the project knowing they want mobile mining to be their target combined with these billionaires these guys have tweeting about them, Im sure they know what they are doing.

They obviously did some research, because mine found they did choose the best algo to start with. I dont see these highly successful millionaires and billionaires lying about testing this out for a few years. At first thats the first thing I noticed. That these guys have already been working on this for since 2015 so I dont them staking their reputations on this, and causing themselves all the legal backlash of blowing up peoples phones. This is a serious project. Just the few shitty apps out there now have safeguards built in, but they dont mine cryptos very good. There is huge potential in this market.

These are successful bussinessmen behind this. They will raise 40 million so fast your head will spin. My prediction is the ICO wont make it past the first bonus round of 150 coins for $1. It will sell out before it even gets to the base price of 100 for $1.

$.006 a coin? Pretty good place to start in my eyes. Oh lordy those that get in this thing will be dancing in the streets!!!

I tell ya folks karma is real

This is a godsend $.01 coin in the ICO

I read the whitepaper and did the math this is going to be amazing.

We need people to know about this. There should be enough coins to go around for everyone so spread the word.

I made a dicussion topic about this

Just saying..

supply and demand in the present makes the present Value. The supply and demand in the past makes the value it was in the past.

Seems to be quite a heavy concept to pick up for some
