If I withdraw 1 DOGECOIN and enter my monk.gg DOGECOIN address as receiving address (withdraw address = deposit address) then..

withdrawing is correct (-1 DOGECOIN and -1 DOGECOIN for transaction)
deposit is not happening (+1 DOGECOIN)

Address: no2dRNaFqxNjWZLeTRu4XyCuzeGdE3VY2S
https://blockexplorer.one/dogecoin/testnet/address/no2dRNaFqxNjWZLeTRu4XyCuzeGdE3VY2S

Thanks for letting us know about this. We now check to make sure that the user isn't withdrawing to an on-site address (an address belonging to yourself or another user). This will eventually be replaced with the ability to 'tip' other accounts.

Yup, it's been tested. You can actually test yourself and you'll get the same notification, no matter the balance Smiley
Tested. OK.

Withdrawal for LTC and DOGECOIN:

'ENTER YOUR RECEIVING BITCOIN ADDRESS'

Will fix this issue in a little bit, currently handling a DNS issue that crashed our server unfortunately

Thanks for letting us know, this was a slight oversight on our part. The issue now is fixed and the deposit ranges for both the coinflip and jackpot game modes are as follows:
- BTC: 0.000001 - 1
- LTC: 0.00025 - 250
- DOGE: 1 - 250,000

Have you checked the upper limit (2. Maximum Deposit: 1 BTC / 250,000 DOGE / 250 LTC)?

I can't test it .. not enough coins  Smiley

... Thanks for reading, excited to get any feedback Smiley
@monkgg

In your Jackpot 'Rules' you say: 1. Minimum Deposit: .000001 BTC / 1 DOGE / .00025 LTC

but I could deposit 0.01 DOGE

same with LTC:
Minimum Deposit: .000001 BTC / 1 DOGE / .00025 LTC
I could deposit 0.000001

for BTC it works: minimun is .000001 and if you try to deposit .0000001 it doesn't work

I think you have for LTC and DOGE the settings of BTC.

We would like to gain feedback and opinions from the community before proceeding further and eventually licensing our application and moving to the mainnet. Any feedback on things such as our UI/UX, existing or potential site features, or any other ideas regarding the website are encouraged and greatly appreciated.
I am interested in doing some testing of your beta website so I registered and deposited testnet coins.
I will post longer feedback later but first bug I noticed is with depositing of coins, if I don't get back to main page I am always getting one coin deposit address, even if I change coin on top.
Here is one example of selected Bitcoin but I am still getting Litecoin address and message to Deposit with LTC, and even after switching to Doge I am still getting LTC deposit address menu.

To get back to the other coin selection you click the 'back to options' link on the bottom left of the modal (as in the screenshot below). We can avoid all this confusion in the future by making the menu open back at the initial wallet state every time it is open/closed. Changing the coin in the header only changes the coin used in games (coinflip/jackpot) when depositing/joining and will not effect anything done in the wallet.

We plan to give prizes to the top 3 users on the xp leaderboard during the duration of the beta. The prizes are TBD and will be announced closer to our official launch date. Thanks for reading, excited to get any feedback Smiley
Can you explain more how people are earning points exactly?
I don't think it's fair if it's only with betting and winning more testnet coins, because someone could provide much better feedback and win nothing or lose everything while betting.
Experience points (xp) is earned by playing games. The amount of XP you earn is proportional to the amount that you bet. If you win you gain the XP equal to the total round wager. If you lose you gain XP equal to your individual wager. We plan on giving rewards to the top 3 users because we want to show appreciation to those testing our application in the early beta stages. When launched, prizes will regularly be given to users on the top of the leaderboard.

Thanks for testing out the website and providing your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Let us know if you have any more questions Smiley

Hey bitcointalk, we'd like to show off a (testnet) player-vs-player casino to the community. All of the development was 100% in-house and was not done utilizing any external casino "scripts".

Some of our features include:
- Play with BTC, LTC, & DOGE (testnet)
- Dynamic withdraw fees
- Coinflip and Jackpot game-modes
- EOS-based provable fairness
- Dynamic game fees depending on user level/xp
- User privacy features
- User chat
- Mobile design
- Level/XP system
- *NEW* Referral codes

We would like to gain feedback and opinions from the community before proceeding further and eventually licensing our application and moving to the mainnet. Any feedback on things such as our UI/UX, existing or potential site features, or any other ideas regarding the website are encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Since this is taking place on the testnet, here are some faucets that I recommend using:
- tBTC: https://testnet-faucet.mempool.co/
- tLTC: https://testnet-faucet.com/ltc-testnet/
- tDOGE: https://testnet-faucet.com/doge-testnet/

We plan to give prizes to the top 3 users on the xp leaderboard during the duration of the beta. The prizes are TBD and will be announced closer to our official launch date. Thanks for reading, excited to get any feedback Smiley

Update:
Along with several minor bug fixes, we have added a referral system to our website. This is viewable on the 'profile' page where you can set your referral code or set your referrer code (if you account is under 12 hours old). To view your rewards balance, just click the 'View Rewards Wallet' button in the wallet dropdown in the page header. Let us know if there are any issues, thanks!

Thanks for visiting and providing us your feedback, it is much appreciated Smiley

I don't see a point why you using the dash (-) on the title at the fixed left-side of the navbar. I think if you made an improvement on the typography, and the white space for the sub-item it would be good.
I guess the dash (-) isn't really necessary under the sub-categories on the left navbar, we just thought it gave a nice sense of separation between clickable links/menu items and their respective titles. If we were to get rid of this, would you recommend doing something like increasing the font-size or using a different font/font style? Or do you think it's fine just the way it is (without the dash (-) of course)? As for white space, do you think that the menu items are too close or too far from their respective titles?

I sent a long character on the live chat, and the message is offsetting the fixed layout.
Oops! This is our fault. It was originally working correctly, but it must have accidentally been removed or overridden last minute. We fixed it and it should be working fine now though.

Personally, I don't like the website that has a full-page loading page between transitioning/moving any page, and the site does it every time I clicking any page. It becomes annoying for me.
This is feedback that we've heard before so it will definitely be changed in the future. We plan to remove this loading spinner and instead redesign our components to look good when certain data is not yet loaded instead of having a spinner in place.

Also, upon checking the wallet feature, when I go to the withdrawal modal then exiting, and reopening the wallet again, it goes straight to the withdrawal modal. I thought it is a bug because I can't change between the withdrawal or depositing modal, turn out I didn't catch the back button until I'm looking thoughtfully.
Do you have any preferences for the placement/styling of the 'Back to Options' clickable item in the wallet modal which would make it more apparent to you? Also would you like us to reset the wallet modal back to the original page after closing and re-opening it?

About the login/register modal, I think you better add form control for the login modal, I notice on the registration modal you implemented a form control but not on the login modal.
Form control for the login modal has been added! We also added a new 'Forgot my Password' feature which can be now used as well.

Thanks again for checking out our website and telling us what you did/didn't like, we really value the feedback you gave us. We know that there is large room for improvement and we're prepared to go through many iterations of design and development until the experience is perfect for the user. We hope to see and hear from you in the future as more updates roll out Smiley
48  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [UPDATE] | monk.gg PvP Crypto (Testnet) Casino | Looking For UX/UI Feedback on: June 26, 2021, 08:16:55 AM
Firstly, we're happy that you took the time to go through the site and provide us with your feedback and I'd just like to say thank you for that. I'm glad that you're overall comfortable with the current color scheme and layout.

I like this colour scheme, but still, maybe you can light scheme options for people who are like it more than dark. day/night choice can be enough. but this way everything seems pleasing to the eye and everything is clearly indicated, so it doesn't take much time to get acquainted with the application.
We considered adding a light color scheme before, but we weren't really sure how many users would actually want it. Now we know to prioritize it and add it in the future.

to me, this is pretty similar to Bitsler casino. Levels, XP points, menu and chatbox layout, part with switching currency etc... But I guess this is okay, better have someone who works well as your role model.
Being completely honest, we're not really familiar with Bitsler casino so any similarities in design are purely coincidental. We worked alongside a web designer who gave us iterative updates and asked for our feedback throughout the whole design process.

For the test period probably for later, it will be fine if you integrate a faucet or some other form of free coins so that users can test all the features of the games. XP points can be useful for that (same as on Bitsler)
Our actual goal is to eventually integrate our own testnet faucet (for all coins) that users can utilize throughout the lifespan of our website. Even after we go live with non-testnet cryptocurrencies, we would like to have a place where users can test out games with testnet currency (ex: something like test.monk.gg). However, currently we only use other testnet faucets that are publicly available on the web such as this one.

About registration, it will be fine if you add options to register with social media accounts. I mean registration in one or two clicks.
In the future we'd like to integrate 3rd party accounts (Google, Twitter, etc.) to the sign in and registration process, but this will most likely be taken care of after the Jackpot and Rock, Paper, Scissors game modes are live on the beta.

Also, you didn't really create any special security to create the password. It is possible to create a new account using "11" as a password. This can make you have complications sometime in the future.
Despite the fact that there was missing form control on the front-end of the registration modal (which is currently fixed now, we just added it), our backend validates that certain fields must abide by certain rules. It would actually not be possible for users to generate a password under six characters. Screenshots of invalid registration attempts (pre-update) are shown in the screenshots below.

Too short of a password example:

We definitely appreciate and value the feedback you gave us and hope to hear more from you after our future updates! Let us know if there are any other things that you would like to see added or changed or feel free to message us with any other questions or concerns. Thanks again Smiley

49  Bitcoin / Project Development / [UPDATE] | monk.gg PvP Crypto (Testnet) Casino | Looking For UX/UI Feedback on: June 24, 2021, 10:20:04 PM

Hey everyone! Since our last post back in February (here), we have been hard at work conceptualizing and implementing a solidified UX/UI for the monk.gg website.

We are looking for input from the Bitcointalk community to give us a general idea of how real users feel using the website on our updated UX/UI. We would love any feedback from a new set of eyes. Any additional feedback on things such as our name, logo, and any other aspects of the site that you can think of is welcomed and encouraged.

After receiving some feedback from the community on the updated UX/UI, we plan on integrating our RPS and Jackpot game modes into the live beta; the latter being unique to the crypto gambling space. We are still working on how the RPS and Jackpot game modes will look and feel, so really any feedback we can get is extremely appreciated.

Other large improvements we have been working on since our last post include:
- Refining the Coinflip game mode
- Site/user security
- Eliminating any bugs we could find
- Rock, Paper, Scissors & Jackpot game types (coming soon)
- Additional currency support (ETH, LTC, DOGE) (coming soon)

Again, we really appreciate any and all feedback from others!
Any further comments, critiques, or suggestions are valued and encouraged.

Best,
monk.gg

NOTE: We are currently only supporting, testnet Bitcoin. All 'bets' are done with testnet currency and have no actual worth.

If you're working on an interesting project that doesn't have a coin, then I would love to hear about it.

Check out this post I had in regards to my project that is currently under development here

but it would've been better if players had an option to play as a guest as well [without registering accounts] and perhaps somehow save their progress in browser-side and only pair them with players of a similar kind [apart from bots].
I liked this idea as well, as I saw it on other sites such as Satoshi Squares but I need to keep in mind the constraint that registered users should not see guest users' games (I think this would lead to too much confusion). But I can solve this issue by either creating a new section for guests only or making it so guest games never go public and can only play against the bot. This is a feature I'll definitely implement in the future but not until I get closer to finishing the other games.

The only issue that I've noticed so far is the fact that the settings for toggling animations aren't saved [after a refresh, it goes back to default].
This can definitely be fixed if people would rather have it save and be set with an initial value than reset to default values each time.

Thank you so much for your feedback, it helps a lot and I'm glad that you liked the platform! For being the first person to review us on Bitcointalk, I sent a small tip to the BTC address [1Gm...] on your profile. Hope to see you on the website in the future!
53  Bitcoin / Project Development / monk.gg | PvP Crypto (Testnet) Gambling - Looking for feedback on: February 16, 2021, 10:03:30 AM

Over the past several months, I have been developing a small PvP (player-vs-player) crypto casino with the idea of putting user fairness at the forefront. The only live game mode is coinflip; however the other PvP-focused games (RPS and jackpot) are currently being developed and will be integrated in the future.

ALL of the transactions that will occur during the beta stage of monk.gg will be done on the bitcoin testnet blockchain. This means that you can only send and receive Bitcoin with testnet addresses on the website. There are many testnet faucets available, but sometimes some go down or have issues, so I'll try to keep this post (and the website) updated with the one that is working most recently for me. Try this faucet for now: https://bitcoinfaucet.uo1.net/

I am interested in hearing all, if any, feedback or criticisms that the Bitcointalk community would be willing to give. If you have any questions or would be interested in helping out, feel free to contact us through PMs or through our Discord server, thanks for reading!

Features:
- One provably fair PvP game (coinflip)
- Ability to set client seed for max provable fairness
- Ability to play against BOTs (house)
- Chat
- Anonymity features
- Leaderboards
- User stats, game details, and history
- XP system that decrements fee %

What is coming soon:
- Rock, Paper, Scissors & Jackpot game types
- Additional currency support (ETH, LTC, DOGE)
- Account security features
- Updated UX/UI

I'm always open to hearing out new features and suggestions as well as interested in hearing any bugs that users might find or seek out. Please don't hesitate to share!
