OK serious post. I dont understand why there are so many posts worrying about the
"low price?" If you look at bittrex, the trading volume is extremely low. Each buy or sell that moves the market is only about .2-.3 BTC. All these trades are fractions of bitcoins. The lack of significant buy or sell walls tells me that the majority of people are holding their ICB rather than selling it. This means that once serious trading starts, for just a few BTC, someone could easily pump this coin up to several times its current value. In my opinion we will see a huge pump at some point in the next week.

It is almost dead. They say that it will be the FIRST NIST5 coin that will really hit the MOON! Talkcoin still alive and kicking :-) Talkcoin team released the roadmap yesterday, really exciting stuff. I'm still buying TAC before it's too late. |

I must say, nothing wrong with TAC (except the voting system), great devs/team, they deliver on time. And if they add private chatting it will skyrock  and plus some sort of roadmap of updates would be helpfull for investors. The price is very low on the moment, but its a great time to buy some TAC. |

So it's unlikely the would add MountCoin as their first. If they were going to do the work to integrate Cryptonote coins they would want to start with one that has more volume like volume like Monero. If we want to push for an exchange we should be looking at one that that already has Cryptonote integrated such as Poloniex. That said, I think it would be a monumental mistake to get listed on an exchange right now. The coin is still on rocky footing and there is nothing innovative about it. There is no reason to invest in MNT over XMR. All that would happen is the early miners would dump and the price would plummet. Until this coin is bug free and there is a solid roadmap in place I'm happy to have it flying under the radar. Getting listed onto an exchange is the EASY part. The hard part is creating a coin that has value. +1, I don't know how it got on swisscex.com, maybe from the old dev. I first want to focus on getting this coin healthy and stable. |

Hi all, Still working on fix, but for now 2.0.3 works if you solo or use OneEvils pool. (And I believe 2.0.2 mined coins are getting stuck for some reason) - I'm out from tomorrow untill sunday, but I will bring my laptop for coding. On the moment mining is for your own risk, but I believe OneEvils pool is paying out (OneEvils -Your running new or older version of the pool software? -> v0.99.0.6?) Still 2.0.3 works great and I can send coins from wallet <> wallet. And all new coins get received/transferred. Maybe extremepool can use this version for testing. Ill contact 33zer0w0lf. And OneEvil can you contact me? send me PM so we can chat on IRC. Hashharder is shutting down its Mountcoin pool due to the bugs in the coin/and or pool software, that means that hashes are being wasted, and coins not being located/correctly sent by the software.
Until a proper solution is written, we will no longer be supporting Cryptonote coins.
Can you just type it in smaller font size, thank you - No need for spamming. |

Update 2.0.3 will be released soon, based on the latest CryptoNight version.
- Hopefully fixing the no payout bug with the latest pool software.
- Increase solo mining speed
- Minor bug fixes
I have send this version for testing @ the pool admin (extremepool)
If this version is positive, it will be released to the public and other pools.

I'm having the same problem, everything was fine yesterday with the new client. I have it syncing now, here is what I did. Windows 7 x64 sp1 -deleted everything except wallet.dat, created a new .conf file with the nodes posted a page back. Nodes here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=565623.msg7503679#msg7503679-the new version of NRS just closes on startup, no window opens. -reboot, try again same thing -started the old client once, got wallet window, closed before it connected to the network. -opened new wallet, this time it opened and its syncing now. I will report back when it completes its sync. Thank you, it worked! -opened new wallet, this time it opened and its syncing now. Add in the .config addnode=ypool.net and addnode=nrs.argakiig.us with this step. If it gets stuck after 10min+ close wallet and open it again. |

The problem witrh syncing is due to the nodes you are connecting to. This is because others have not updated and continue to use the old wallet which still tries to accept PoW block past the 50k mark.
Please try using the node i have told you since it is on the right version and is not having any sync issues.
As for the wallet crash, i need more details such as error messages, or can you post the last part of your debug.log?
Also, let it run a while, give it time to resolve, as you know there ave been thousands of nodes, so it has to work through them and find the active ones then sort through them to find the correct block number, mine took ~ ten minutes from scratch to sync.

I'm working close with all the pool devs, The admin of extremepool updated for the 2e-time the pool-software (new version) and let the blockchain sync. The admin is aware of the pending balance problem and it will get resolved soon. And note for: q327K091 can you please change the big bold/red text? I want to keep this topic clean, and no need to shout. I'll add http://209.126.76.115 pool to the OP pool list - Be aware where you point your miners at (pool) it is at your own risk, this one is new and the user/pool-admin only got 1 post and some spammy name. |
