Hi man,

do you live next to a river ? you can buy cheap hydro generator like this :

source : http://www.ph-energies.com/index.php/energie-hydraulique/turbine-kaplan/serie-mhg-lh

it will generate about 1kw to 5kw depending on the model you buy.
Advantage : low maintenance cost (almost nothing)
Disadvantage : need a building close to a river with descent water flow, need to plan it seriously with the help of expert because this is serious shit here Smiley

As i live in France, it's pretty easy to me to find good place, dunno for USA. Maybe you need to move for free electricity;)

PS : its working
i have 2 ponds with a waterfall between them. but i suppose it wont generate enough power to pump the water back otherwise thats perpetual energy and that cant exist.

well, perpetual energy does exist : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z8yW5cyXXRc

Unfortunately that's the trouble that comes with name recognition.  I would jump straight to PHashForCash since GH is so 2013, TH is Feb, PH should be good for the rest of this year hopefully.

What comes after Petahash…my brain cell does not compute that high.

I am going to have to get 17561 truck loads of GPU's for my attempt at 51% Any one know where I can rent a nuclear power plant? I was thinking that one down there in Socal. San Onofre, the one that looks like big boobs. (o)(o) (I am only a man…don't judge me)

Holy crap did I get off track……Somethinghash.com for sure

Whats up with the Fabulous Panda forum??…I have not been able to get on for days…wanted to know if you had updated Macminer to include x11. I am eager to try it out

Awww...good OL Yorba Linda…I don't miss that 91 at all …I moved to Northern Cal. about 10 years ago. Living just south of Sacramento now. It gets very hot here…in the upper 90's now.

I miss the beach and the good places to eat…otherwise the "look at me" attitudes can have it…You know I DID NOT get any tattoo's because I wanted to be "different"...0.o imagine that.

Its a much Slower, friendlier pace of life here and I enjoy it….even the hot summer part

 Cool

X11 profitability zero percent?!

Im showing 5% right now…I think because of the hiccups yesterday. Some one said that the earnings would not show right for a couple days.

Quote from chadwickx16 "Yes, earnings will most likely be misrepresented for the next day or so."

I wonder how many people replying in this thread stating they like summer live in a location where summer could actually be deadly?  Admittedly I love winter but here in Southern California we had 1 day with 97F this past winter.  The coldest it got was 34F overnight low - not even freezing.

About 100 miles from me is Death Valley which has the hottest recorded temps on Earth.

For those who claim they like summer, what kind of summer are you talking about?

I grew up in Huntington Beach…Been to Death Valley a bunch of times. Dumont Dunes getting crazy in the sand. I used to haul a lot of military equipment in and around there. i personally like summer and I have been to every corner of the USA during summer..Got to try Southern Florida when the humidity is 9000% its like being in a sauna…..all the time.

HB has great summer weather…never over 95 and never under 50..perfect.

How about that Razorcoin for Scrypt!!!…been paying out pretty fat..looks like the payouts for are getting a little smaller but it seems to have been kicking some digital ass the last couple days even with the "hiccups"

I have made 0.06241655 with 1 S1 180GHs since the 6/15/14 on BTC Guild….and
I have made 0.02017820 with a Fury 1.3MHs since the 6/16/14 on Waffle-Pool (pretty good I think) (a week before that was CPU mining @ 38KHs)

I know, I know, these are not impressive hash numbers but I am new to mining and these little miners are an experiment for me to learn and hopefully make my mistakes on a small level first before I go out of my mind and drop $10k on some thing I can't have for a couple months and watch the difficulty grow and profitability shrink all the while wait for tape out…shit its looks like I have already gone a little crazy because I said all that with out a comma or period and now I am starting to sound like my wife when she gets excited and drops 5 subjects into one sentence with only one breath to get it all out…….whewwwwww…breathing now.

Any way…Razor been doing pretty good.

Can you stop fucking with the pool now so all my 5.4MH/s make it there? Currently I have 5.4MH/s locally and below 3MH/s arrive at the pool.

Switch to decaf bro…you're going to pop a blood vessel

Waffle…I  like that you have taken responsibility for what has happened. No excuses, just an explanation of what has happened with you owning responsibility. That is commendable and a rare quality these days. I have been on WP for a couple weeks now and you have done a good job in my opinion. I have received prompt replays to emails and seem to be having decent earnings here. I will stick with you and expand my operations with WP in the future.

These types of situations for me are like this: It is 10% what has happened to you and 90% how you deal with it. Shit will always go wrong and I am positive this will not be the only "bump" WP experiences. If we know we got a guy like PW working on things we can expect a decent sense of urgency and some integrity….well I can get behind that.

Keep up the good work PW…I know you have our backs and we should all have yours

I believe its all the algos …I am on Srypt and I have the same problems…my UI is showing shares being accepted and the coin count is going up…It was like this yesterday too. Waffle man is pretty good about things ..wait and see
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 22, 2014, 09:38:49 PM
I am not worried….I have been looking at this…miners are hashing at normal speeds locally and my coin count is increasing at WP..seems to be a glitch with the pool not being able to report the miners…every thing else seems normal
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 22, 2014, 09:11:47 PM
Im still gaining share according to my miners's UI…not very much though…coin count is still going up @WP…just showing dead…weird

edit: shares and coin count seem to be moving along just fine

56  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 310 Mhash/s is $0.01 per day? on: June 22, 2014, 11:01:17 AM
So according to a lot of popular profitability calculators taking in current exchange rate and difficulty settings, I will be losing money at 310Mhash/s with my Radeon 7800 Series due to power costs. Should I trash this card and get a different one? Or throw out GPU mining altogether and go with an ASIC?

You can always look into the other Algo's…. x11, X13 Scrypt-n, Groestl, Keccak, Quark and exchange those for BTC. Waffle-pool multi mines Scrypt-n and X11 and I think they are working on X13. Do a little investigating before you just trash your cards
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LEAFCOIN - NEW UPDATE AVAILABLE - DIGISHIELD + FLATREWARDS + CHECKPOINTS + MERGE on: June 22, 2014, 10:23:16 AM
My wallet is stuck at 17 weeks, tried resyncing block chain, latest wallet, how do I get past?

Normally just closing and reopening will fix this issue (on other wallets, not seen this on leaf though myself)

I have tried that several times, have also tried to leave it for 24h+, any other ideas?

are you using a wireless connection to the web? I was reading on another forum about a guy who was having trouble syncing his BTC/LTC wallets. It was because of his wireless connection. Still don't know why its the wireless but he connected via "hardline and everything synced. One even suggested cutting a hole in a metal strainer and putting his USB wifi stick init to get a better signal…weird ..I know  see the youtube vid

I just 'Youtubed" this generator…….um….I think I will go with the Nigerian prince's magic beans instead.

BTW….I have $250000 I need to get into the country, all you have to do is cash a check I send you and give me the money minus a fee for you service…….hello?... anyone there?

Damn ..I knew I should not have used proper english and punctuation, it was a dead give away

Mine is plugging away still..currently costing about 30% of revenue to operate….I guess when the S3 comes out if the price is right I will get one and/or upgrade my S1

I have read on this thread that the difficulty to mine this coin is 9.***** and coinwarz.com is showing 0.0805

Here is a screen shot of CW's page as I write this http://prntscr.com/3cocqw so what is the real difficulty??
