The windows wallet has been successfully built (phew), now setting up the windows development environment from scratch to build the release wallet binaries. Updating the Linux development environment with the latest dependencies and then rebuild the linux release wallet binaries. Once done then we will publish and the Mac wallet build is still being worked on and will be the next roadmap milestone.

Tried QT4.8.6 but failed compiling bitcoingui.o, needed QScroller.

Thanks, I have to get the QT5 downloads and compiled before I try doing a windows wallet build, anyone know which ones would be best?

Had query on joining the BeanCore, it is on the website but I'll repeat it here:

A "Stake Holder" is defined as someone that has a significant investment in Bitbean (5 Million or more). Stake Holders are invited to have a key role in shaping the development, direction and market for Bitbeans. As part of Bitbean Core, Stake Holders will be eligible for their own @bitbean.org email account and be tied into our collaboration infrastructure. Much like a traditional board of directors, Stake Holders accepted into Bean Core, will have a voice in the management, and be able to take a leadership role in the Bitbean eco-system. The organization of this core development group ("Bean Core") will be based on consensus and an ownership model. Those with a bigger stake in Bitbean will have a bigger voice. Bean Core will maintain the privacy of its members and remain anonymous.
High Stakers, who own at least 5 Million Bitbeans, are invited to join Bitbean Core. To join, a holder must submit their bitbean address to verify their investment amount by email to: admin@bitbean.org
Upon receipt of their bitbean address, holders will be asked to donate (a minimum of 100,000 Bitbeans) a specific amount of Bitbeans to Team Bean to verify their ownership of that address. Upon verification, the High Staker will then be assigned an account within Bitbean Core.

Any worries about Bittrex de-listing the Bean, it will not happen. More exchanges can't be a bad thing, I've looked at Cryptopia and Bean meets their criteria for acceptance but the vote has a long way to go to get listed. We are on the two largest ones.

Latest update is that the acceptance testing is complete on the core code. The Linux wallet is built, Windows and mac wallets are ongoing. The new release will be available when these wallets are ready, or sooner if the MAC wallet needs extra attention. I know you have your scepticism with the delay of the new release but bear with us, we are working towards a crypto that has dedicated people wanting to produce a quality product (check the rich list now and before the pump). As for the future, this release is the foundation for that progression.

As for a timescale, I was told this weekend, but we all know meeting self imposed targets can be your nemesis. As much to say we are close.

I'm got 250 stakes yesterday on 140k TX, this is without a conf file defined. Max block size of 800 coins.

The holders whom have a dynamic IP provided by their ISP cannot benefit from the 10k masternode. The 0.5 reward minting is not good. I hold a lot of TX and I am not appreciating the low rewards minting since there is no way I can run masternodes with my ISP, I have tried to set one up with no success so any advice or dev intervention to make this available would be appreciated.

Sorry you see it that way, as for being upset, far from it. If you are genuine why don't you join the beancore and add value that way. It would be more effective than grumbling in public. As for the poems, it's to lighten up this thread, not trying to pump the coin. The Dev has repeatedly posted that the wallet is close for release.

If you don't believe then sell, I don't understand the negative posts. Nobody told you to buy this coin (if you ever did) so go harass elsewhere.

Hang on to your Bitbeans, sell at your peril. The up and coming wallet and further developments will dispel the doubters.

Anyone set up a masternode with an isp that daily updates the external ip address (dynamic). I tried to setup one using the my private address with no success. I also changed the current
external Ip address in the conf file with no success. I left the masternode created in the wallet with the private Ip address as the edit button does not do anything. Is the port number in the conf different to the port used for the masternode. Any help would be gratefully received, I am staking only atm.

Other bugs I have noticed in the 1.2 win wallet other than the version number would be the fact that sending while the wallet is staking does not work. Locking the wallet leaves the unlock icon open and locks the wallet for staking, still sending coins does not work. I close the wallet then reload it leaving it locked and then I can send.
 

I have enough for a masternode, shame the Dev is indisposed but maybe someone else can help. My isp gives me a dynamic external IP address that changes, so do I configure the wallet conf with my private 192.168.178.xx ip address?
