41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: August 03, 2021, 01:54:58 AM

.
Bitcoin is limited. Everyone uses Bitcoin for payment and daily transactions. Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular. Many people know that Bitcoin also has countries that set Bitcoin as legal tender. If Bitcoin is used to pay salaries, is it necessary to collect taxes?

Payment in Bitcoin is a method of payment, which is not a criterion for judging whether to pay taxes.
Sort out your ideas and discuss the questions.
If Bitcoin is used as currency, it is the same as any other asset. If it is income from work, is it subject to income tax? When you pay with Bitcoin, does it mean you pay? In this case, it meets the taxation standards.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: August 03, 2021, 01:32:07 AM

Recently, there as been a lot of discussion about using Bitcoin to pay or employers to pay salaries using Bitcoin.

(All forum threads, there will be many similar views)

There is a lot of hype among Amazon, Apple, and Tesla about accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. Many of them say that the adoption is better, but if the company converts a large amount of Bitcoin paid by customers into legal tender, it will give Bitcoin. The currency brings a lot of selling pressure.
Bitcoin is becoming more and more common for daily payments. If it is more convenient for everyone to buy bitcoins and use bitcoins for daily payments, will the price of bitcoins get lower and lower?
But now the legal currency has depreciated. For example, if you are rich, then you will not let your money just be stored in the bank, and will invest it in cryptocurrencies, houses, stocks, and others.
If conditions permit, I would be happy to use Bitcoin for daily payments, but some people have said that they will not sell their own Bitcoins and have been waiting for the price of Bitcoin to rise.
Do you think Bitcoin will be devalued in the future?
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding and taking profits on: August 02, 2021, 09:23:33 AM
If it is a long-term currency, stick to it and don't easily sell the currency in your hand. If you only look at the memetic coins or short-term coins in the altcoins, then you can sell the coins in your hand at the right time.
If the price rises after selling the coin in your hand, please control your emotions. Don't regret it, there will be a chance. Continue to learn investment knowledge and find experience in failure.

Congratulations on your first merit. Yep, it can be really euphoric and it may lead you into posting better in hopes of gaining another merit.
Merit is addictive. lol

Come on, no offense but I don't think we can call this hard work.. 32 posts in total out of which 10 are in off-topic, 2 are bounty registrations and the majority of others are quite useless .. There's so much space left for you to grow, merits don't come from bounty registrations or useless posts!

Try to actively participate in the community with some useful stuff if you want merits. Read and learn new stuff about Bitcoin and whenever you see some newbie asking a question you know an answer to, jump in and help. If I were to count all your posts since December, you'd have about 6-7 posts per month.. that's 1, max 2 per week! How do you expect merits to come when you don't even post much at all? Cheesy

Good luck m8, but I really suggest you to spend more time here if you want to receive some merit Tongue

In my opinion, this is not the best way to encourage newcomers, as I think your comment belittles an achievement that he is very proud of. We must educate, not intimidate newcomers.

You are a gentle person and I am very happy to see your warm words. Learn from you. Grin
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: August 02, 2021, 08:26:57 AM
Yes, you must be careful when buying. If it is a valuable coin, when you buy it when it falls, it is very likely that the price will rise and recover, but if you are buying an unknown coin in the altcoin, it is very It is possible that the price will not recover until the coin dies. Therefore, when investing, it is recommended to invest in valuable altcoins, which can be held for a long time.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: August 02, 2021, 05:57:44 AM
I have some reservations about the old coins. Generally, I invest in valuable coins, but many altcoins are not always rising, but many new coins are scams and need to be careful.
some new coins are also worth investing. They have innovated on the basis of the original old coins. Investing in altcoins is to seize the opportunity.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: July 31, 2021, 07:25:29 AM
I have seen similar posts before, and my answer is that if the employer pays with Bitcoin, I will choose Bitcoin. If it is other cryptocurrency, I will see if it is valuable. If possible, I would choose half of the cryptocurrency and half of the fiat currency, because fiat currency is still used in daily life, but now the use of cryptocurrency has also increased. After the volatility of cryptocurrency gradually stabilizes, I will use cryptocurrency to pay wages.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that Bitcoin and Ethereum have a dependency with Meme Coin or vice ve on: July 31, 2021, 07:08:31 AM
No coin will affect Bitcoin, and all altcoins follow the development of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin falls, other currencies will also be affected and fall together. However, if Bitcoin rises, altcoins will not rise. Perhaps market public opinion will have some influence on Bitcoin, but now it seems that Bitcoin has stabilized. Bitcoin is developing steadily. Taking China's ban on Bitcoin mining as an example, there is no fatal blow to Bitcoin, and Amazon’s “rumors” a few days ago have no impact on Bitcoin. Looking at it now, everyone already trusts Bitcoin very much and will not be affected by the rise and fall of other altcoins.
I think they rely on Bitcoin for development.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2011 Bitcoin rejected person reaction on 2021 on: July 31, 2021, 06:39:01 AM
Feeling sorry for him,,, I believe many people have missed it,,, I also missed it. Angry
To be honest, I didn't understand Bitcoin at first, because many media published negative news that Bitcoin is a tulip. I didn't think about it myself. My friend made money and told me that I knew the original Bitcoin. Bitcoin is real. Then I started to learn Bitcoin knowledge slowly, regretting that I didn't know and learn encryption knowledge in advance. According to media reports, Bitcoin has now proven itself with actual conditions. We must find experience from failure and believe that Bitcoin is very important.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: July 30, 2021, 05:59:08 AM
It must be a bullish investment. There are now many signs that Bitcoin will rise, because we all trust Bitcoin now, judging by what is happening now. Even if there are "rumors", it will not affect Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still developing slowly, so we must stick to our original aspirations and don't sell our Bitcoins because of market panic.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: July 30, 2021, 02:07:55 AM
The most important thing is to trust the coin you choose. If you don't trust it, you will panic when it drops and you will want to sell your tokens. You still have to control your emotions and adjust your mentality. You must have good patience, keep learning, and learn to analyze market trends. In fact, every decline is an opportunity and learn to overcome fear. Have the courage to bear the consequences. In this way, when you are trading in the market, you will not be in a bad mood because of the falling coins, learn to learn from the experience of failure, and maintain an optimistic attitude.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Why don't banks work with cryptocurrency? on: July 29, 2021, 08:02:30 AM
Because the bank is dependent on the government, if the bank uses the fiat currency system, we will have some details of the transaction information for payment. If the money in your bank card is stolen, the bank will help you get it back. If your funds on the chain are stolen because cryptocurrency transactions are more confidential, then the money on the chain will not be able to be retrieved. Moreover, the money used by the state for printing money will be deposited in banks. If cryptocurrency is used, the country does not need to print it, and the bank's profits will be reduced. When a bank uses cryptocurrency, it proves that cryptocurrency is no longer confidential. Our information may be leaked.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Which area will develop after the epidemic? on: July 29, 2021, 07:16:52 AM
China's current development is indeed very good. This epidemic is obvious to all, but my understanding is that China's import and export control is very strict, and the Chinese government has also controlled it very well. China's socialist democratic policy has made the people believe in the government and unite as one. Now other economies in China are all developing in an all-round way, whether it is medicine, agriculture or equipment, they have all made outstanding contributions. Many countries are paying more and more attention to China, and some countries may worry that China will affect the country's influence on the world.
But now China is experiencing floods, and coastal areas are severely affected. The Chinese government is working hard to remedy the flood, and the economic losses have not yet been disclosed. Until the flood passes, we will not be able to see what China is doing, and we will know whether China will experience an epidemic and whether the flood will develop rapidly. However, the economies of the United States and European countries have gradually recovered, and the epidemic can also be controlled. Economic development is a matter of time.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: July 29, 2021, 02:22:39 AM
In addition to my normal work, cryptocurrency is my side business. I will look at some bounty programs. I have learned some PS and PR. I also know poker gambling, but I think it still requires some basic capital, and I want to try it. I can use some free time to learn more. During the epidemic, I also received a small amount of funds by uploading photos I took and modifying pictures, and I was very satisfied. Try boldly, the next success is you!
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu vs. Dogecoin. Who is the Lead Dog of the Pack? on: July 28, 2021, 06:49:36 AM
Although it is possible to invest in Dogecoin and Shiba Inu coins to make money, this kind of investment is very risky, and they did not say which one is ranked first, because they are all speculative coins, and you can make a profit when you need to buy and sell them. However, you are more likely to lose all or most of your investment.
You may be more optimistic about Dogecoin, because the richest man Musk is the promoter, and Shiba Inu is a mascot and everyone buys it. I think there is no first or second between them. Be careful not to lose all your funds because of greed.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyone is fearfull. Someone said this is time to be greedy on: July 28, 2021, 03:46:37 AM
Everyone knows that Bitcoin is a long-term development, but everyone makes market decisions based on market changes. However, many people also make unwise decisions due to market panic. If you never sell, you must ensure that you have enough funds for daily consumption, otherwise you cannot invest all your money in Bitcoin. You can look at altcoins, but no one knows the market for altcoins. You must have enough patience and keep a clear head. Don't be too greedy, stop profit and stop loss.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 28, 2021, 02:09:33 AM
Bitcoin is now rising, and it has jumped by 3k in less than 10 minutes. Although everyone is happy but also worried, is it going to fall again?
My friend asked if I can continue to buy it? But I see a lot of people commenting that giant whales are now controlling the market. I told my friends not to enter the market for now, but my friends seem to have misunderstood me.
Do you think that this kind of market should be forbidden to enter or continue to buy?
I suggest not to panic selling。

You shouldn't be selling now, don't panic! Just be calm because one day we will harvest all the efforts that we had. This market should continue to grow, even our friends to should come and join with us for our future endeavors that enjoys the lucky profit.
Buying time is already their, we must embrace this biggest opportunity while btc still building it's momentum to become more stronger.
If he's up for the profit then why not? Besides, Bitcoin is suddenly pumping right now due to the rumors that Amazon is accepting Bitcoin now. And if someone is holding for a long time then I think it's the right time to sell some after all those prices movement this is the right time to make some profit.

Anyway, I wouldn't say this is the right time to buy but if OP friend know what they were doing then it's totally fine. But do you think it's really the best time to buy? I mean, last year price is way more cheaper than today.
Buying on dips is everyone's habit. Recently, the price of Bitcoin has fluctuated due to Amazon. We can tell our friends about our suggestions, but we should let our friends make their own decisions. Bitcoin is a long-term asset and does not need to be traded frequently. I do not recommend selling at this stage.
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 28, 2021, 01:38:13 AM
Whatever they ask about the price fluctuation, you should not have an accurate answer for it.
Be on the safe side to avoid being blamed later on.
Tell them your history maybe. If you are still holding your bitcoin up until now then it should be enough reason to give them a positive reaction about it.
We don't know who manipulates it, we don't know if the market really reacts whenever they sell, we don't know how much amount they are holding to make the market move or not. No one knows.
You can recommend it but always tell them it's not your fault to whatever will happen in the future. They should still be responsible for what they are entering.
Yes, we should not tell our friends when to buy or sell. We can tell them our personal views, and then let them consider for themselves, because if the currency keeps falling but not rising, your friends may put the blame on you. In the past few days, I also chatted with my friends a few words about cryptocurrency.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon's surface phenomenon on: July 27, 2021, 09:34:33 AM
You can use purse(dot)io, which has been around for many years, to buy anything on Amazon.

It does not accept BTC because of the ridiculously high cost and slow construction time due to the artificially corrupted 1mb block size.

However, it does accept Bitcoin Cash BCH, and you can set your own discount percentage based on the urgency of the order
My friend used this to buy in Amazon one time when I asked my friend to buy me manga and superhero statues, it does the work nice and everything is smooth because for about 10 minutes after I asked the favor, I was informed by that friend that the products are already bought and I just have to wait for sometime and given that there's no Amazon in my country, I have to wait 2 full months to have my product delivered by mail. Regarding Amazon denying that bitcoin is going to be supported, I don't think that we have to lose hope on this one because we know for a fact that if there's a profit, they will find a way to make money out of that, I think that Amazon hasn't formulated a good plan yet so I think that it's too early to call off that they're not going to support anything.
Cryptocurrency is developing. If Amazon issues their own digital currency, they may also accept Bitcoin as a payment method. But if they use Bitcoin, they still need to solve some problems, what standard to set prices for items in the future, and trust issues.
60  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 27, 2021, 08:20:17 AM
This is indeed the case. If you are rich, it is easier to hold it for a long time. You don't need to buy and sell coins often to make a profit. They will invest in various long-term assets to get profits. They will have greater courage to take greater risks. Ordinary people will consider which currency will rise faster when investing, and should not invest too much. Because we want to maintain daily consumption.
