Hi STK people,

Less connections, only 13 where I had 26 some time ago.
I know there is almost no incentive to support the network.
Each day I ask myself, why put all the effort to stake the big wallets.
It is time consuming activity to keep the wallets online, each day I have to send the small blocks into bigger ones.
In one month the big wallet is in size 30MB and time to move the coins to a fresh wallet.
Before I used 300 transactions of 2500 STK!
When I stop doing this the blockchain can crash and the small wallets get also problems with the size in MB.
If we had 100 of more nodes and a better distribution because we did STO the network was more natural in shape.
So if one day you get much more stake I give up supporting the network.

A new phase Stakecoin people,

A few weeks ago I saw 28 connections and now only 14!
The reward is poor because the community wallet takes about 70-80% of all the stakes.
The most owners of Stakecoin have nothing to loose if we never get value.
This is just like Bitcoin an experiment and we can only create value if most of the owners believe we can.
The idea I had with Stakecoin not easy to implement without serious investments.
We have a legacy with Stakecoin and a big uncertainty are the sleeping big wallets.
I breeding on new approach and when it is more clear I shall share.

We think that it is at the moment difficult to make people enthusiastic to invest into Solarfields with Stakecoin.
The Coronavirus is now in the mind of people and they do not have the 15 year investment horizon now.
We save our energy and just continue staking and maybe we come with other or improved idea for purpose of Stakecoin and Solar field investments.

Today I had the meeting and I can say it was fruitful!
Now consulting several people for advice.
This project I perform in free time so it will take some time to complete all the tasks for crowdfunding.
The idea is that we collect about € 750.000 for 750.000 STK with STO and that in the future one Stakecoin has always € 1 value.
We have to change the source to have the ability for extra Stakecoin linked to Solar field investments.

Hi STK people,

I see fewer nodes in the network and I can understand why people stop supporting the network.
With a small wallet, the reward is not big but remember the business idea is to make Stakecoin a stable asset with a value of € 1,- in the first phase.
I can't go into detail yet how we go manage that value but if everything is going as I have in mind then I dare to guarantee that value.
Okay, existing users have to be patient for exchange the holdings they have into fiat currency but after a transition period, all Stakecoin can have equal stable value!
So keep on staking and have faith that I can create real value for Stakecoin.

The meeting is this Monday morning.
I have a good feeling about the outcome and also the exchange is prepared.
What I have to figure out is the way current holders can participate.
The 750K STK is a big share but if the 1.25 M STK of the other holders is coming to the market the IEO can fail.
So my idea is to monitor the online wallets and set a lockup period for sending STK to the IOE exchange.
In this way people can see that STK has a stable value.
For the wallets more than one year offline the lockup period is much longer because they did not contribute to the network.

 

Hi STK people,

On the background is some development for Stakecoin.
My intention is to transform Stakecoin to a security token linked with assets in the real world.
These assets, eg Solar fields create a predictable cash flow and the holders of Stakecoin are then stakeholders in these assets. The community wallet with 750k STK is meant to be for an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) to raise funds for investment into the eg Solar fields.
We have an exchange partner that supports this plan and we thought that we had Solar fields business partners.  It is a bit disappointing that the intended business partner walked away after we presented this awesome business case for Stakecoin.

Now we have serious contact with the Hybrix team and they offered to help us to integrate Stakecoin into their ecosystem. A possible future idea is to make a node available an a RasberriPI that makes it possible to integrate simple smart contracts on the Stakecoin blockchain. Then it is possible to make an application that measures and predicts the power consumption and supply of Solar panels and makes the decision on financial and/or environmental parameters to store energy or sell on the market and Stakecoin can be the security token for value transfer. This is just one of the 1001 idea’s that is possible with Stakecoin.

Tomorrow I send 20kSTK that is now in stake and the community wallet holds then 650K STK.

I just closed the wallets that contain 400k STK as a Christmas present to the community.

Hi Stakecoin community,

On January 11th Stakecoin exists 5 years!
I hope this Stakecoin is still alive over 15 years.
We are now not I a good position with no exchange and no application but I have still hope for a better future for Stakecoin.
I thought just before Christmas make a post with positive wishes for the future.
I wish all the people who are member of the Stakecoin community a Merry Christmas and a happy new year with good opportunities.

1: Stakecoin is a great name for a coin that uses Proof of Stake
2: With Stakecoin you can get a good reward when supporting the network
3: The supply is limited, now about 2.2M in circulation
4: The technique of the coin is robust and a wallet is easy to run
5: Existing users can exchange Stakecoin for Energycoin and EnergyCoin can be sold for BTC

What is missing?
1: A solid use case that gives to coin a reason for existence
2: Mobile wallet but use case is more important
3: No exchange where new users can buy Stakecoin
4: No budget for development and marketing
5: Active community and feedback from users

For now I think this is good change in policy.
It was very easy to accumulate from 200 STK to 2000 or more in one year.
Now we have small group of people that staked a serious share in Stakecoin.
Okay it is maybe not so profitable to continue supporting the network.
Wat is the value of 1 STK?
crypto4jan offers 10 ENRG for 1 STK and that is a value of 160 Satoshi.
If you think ENRG can rise again to 200 or more satoshi than exchange is wise.
But STK is so rare that 10k Sat is a fair value and we don't sell for less!
We show the world that also with huge difficulty we keep supporting te network.

Today a new experiment has started.
Deal with crypto4Jan is 1: 10 STK for ENRG with max 1M ENRG.
Then 1:5 max 500k ENRG
Then 1:1 unlimited exchange.
You always can get 1 ENRG for 1 STK because there are only 2.2M STK in circulation.

But experiment is that I start staking with 800k STK (my community wallet and own STK).
The difficulty to earn STK will be very high for a while.
The reason is I value STK @ 10000 Satoshi and new earning a STK is so easy.
I still waiting for investors who want to discuss a real world business case.
