In this board are a lot of "anti-DOGE"...... I started a new topic for to thanks a "giveaway" and that I belive in DOGE, and all the people say that is a scam, ridiculous,..... ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=381065.0 ) Why people hate DOGECOINS? Because dogecoin rocketed upward while their scam coins floundered on the launch pad. wow such doge so to the moon much soon

I'm looking to recode some open source bitcoin web apps to use alternate crypto currencies (such as Litecoin, Dogecoin, Quarkcoin, Namecoin, etc).
Besides linking to the correct wallet daemon, what do I need to be aware of when changing these over?
Do I need to fix the key generation code? Do I need to fix the address verification code? Or does the litecoind/dogecoind/quarkcoind/namecoind usually take care of these changes?

Version 1.2 has been released. As more people adopt this release, the syncing issues should subside.
The issue was, with the incredible amount of demand and clients out there, everyone was getting filtered into 1 IRC channel, causing massive flooding and disconnects. An awesome member of a community added a Seed DNS server for us for supernodes, as well as increased the number of IRC channels so people can actually connect to each other.
(Only windows client available at the moment, Mac will be released shortly)
much thanks! so wow!

"I'm a relative "old timer" when it comes to Bitcoin, having gotten into it in 2011. Subsequently this is not my first or second bubble. For those of you panicking right now, I'd like you to consider these three questions - Has Bitcoin maxed out already at it highest number of total users that it will ever have? - Have those users invested the maximum amount of money into Bitcoin that they ever will already? - Has the Bitcoin infrastructure reached the maximum maturity and total distribution that it ever will. If the answer to any of these three questions is no, then the long term price will likely be higher. If the answer to all three of these questions is no, then the long term price will certainly be higher. Breathe, a delating bubble can take weeks or even months. Don't put in more than you can afford to lose, and next time have a plan from the beginning so that you are executing that plan and not reacting to your emotions." here is the link to this http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1t5nc1/three_things_to_consider/^this - I've also been in it since 2011. Sold my BTC at $150. Thought that was the bubble.

guys! What is your opinion on http://doge.cryptopool.it/ I have mined there for a while, earned over 400.000 DOGE, wchich are still in pool. After 4 days after withdrawal I am unable to get my DOGE ... Are they honest? WTF? The queue for withdrawal is long, and I think it requires manual action by the pool op. I haven't gotten my last in a long time, but I mined there for a while with regular payouts, so I think he's honest, just a bit behind.

CoinedUp has put code in to protect people from the missing zeroes. Current bid ~0.00000037 -- If you accidentally put in 0.0000037 (one less decimal place), you get a notice: "Bid too high for current asking price."

I think its not a good idea troll exchanges. Investors can think that Dogecoin is not serious.
I agree with this, to be honest, if the goal is to be taken somewhat seriously and not to get it delisted everywhere. you're right. I was just remembering the days of BTC market manipulation that happened.
