I have been following Kashmir Hill's stories this week (as well as last year) and find them enjoyable. It is nice to see that it is easier living on Bitcoin a year later and that people seem more aware of what it is this year.
I wonder if she will do another series of stories next year?
I hope so! I thought to repeat the experiment by myself, but I'm afraid

This interesting info proves that the use of Bitcoin is growing. The transaction volume has been declining for the past few months or so. Well... let's hope that more people are using Bitcoin as a currency, rather than viewing them as a form of investment. ITA! But in order to make it happen we need more companies which will accept bitcoin as payment Today I looked the list of countries where legalized Bitcoin and I think that the spread of Bitcoins worldwide is almost over. This means that it will be a lot of companies which will accept bitcoin as payment in future

I read that rising popularity Bitcoin led to the financial authorities of Singapore gave it a "green light" They have legalized the use of currency in the country by prescribing loyal conditions of transactions with Bitcoin.
I also read somewhere that Singapore is the only country where Bitcoin is legalized There will be charged GST, which in Singapore is 7%, in transactions where Bitcoins are exchanged for real goods and services. Now Bitcoin is legal in many countries. Here you will get the list of countries. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_Bitcoins_by_countryIMO, list of countries where legalized Bitcoin increasing day by day and it is amazing! Bitcoin is gaining confidence and I really like it! Thanks dude for the info

I think Bitcoin could allow developing countries to achieve a decent standard of living and help people e.g. in Thailand.
PS You can pay income tax using Bitcoin in Singapore. It's convenient!

As you know, money has six main characteristics (such as durability, portability, divisibility, fungibility, limited edition, prevalence) that allow it to be an ideal tool for financial transaction
Gold established itself as the most robust and durable metal on earth that doesn't lose its properties over time. Thus, according to the first criterion, gold is better than Bitcoins.
However, according to the other five criterias Bitcoin has the benefits. For example, you can transfer the cryptocurrency anywhere in the world where there is access to the Internet.
IMO, Bitcoin is our future

I'm glad to hear it! I believe that Canada and the U.S. are the best countries for the development of Bitcoin. Therefore it is necessary to develop a system of ATMs in these countries first of all.
