Hi guys, I need some help please. I'm trying to setup a node and I need to create my node hallmark but when I run the server and try to open 'localhost:7776/admin.html' in my browser, I'm getting 'error 404. not found.' Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!
I had the same when trying to use NHZ_xxx_API but it works fine with the non API builds... I think you might be able to just change nhz.myPlatform=API to ...=PC Oh ok thanks! But where do I get the non api build from? I can't find any other download link for the node wallet on the site  I think the ones on the nhz forum are the best... http://nhzcrypto.org/pages/wallet-downloads/Yea but they don't have a non-api version on there. The node wallet download link points to the api build. I'm pretty sure that when I got that error you are getting with 7776/admin I just tried the other one, the 'Full wallet', and now it works and I get my bounty... |

is this beyond the utility collab since you mentioned Dans widespread reputation beeing the reason?
Yup ;-) I think that I speak for the whole XC community if I say that we would appreciate it if we get informed before Dan decides to do another collaboration. I think you don't goat. |

I have some small amount of XC on MP (277 I think) and will let them sit there for a while, since it is too risky to try to withdraw them. Actually, my last withdrawal from Creptsy took more than two month. I had to wait, write many tickets, wait again... Cancel it... try in few weeks... Wait and write tickets and so on and so on. Finally I got my XC in september, and I was really scared cos it was not 277 coins. So, Creptsy never again. Guess trexx is atm the best option if you wanna trade.
hmm... 277 sounds like 0.768 XC a month. I'd love that. Guess I'll just have to buy it from MP when they dump... |

Check Node does not work.
still doesn't work. It will be when we finish implementing filtering in the node check. The API is under heavy stress because A LOT of people are checking 20+ nodes every 3 seconds. Haven't gotten any 666NHZ since the 29 payout...  i am missing payment of my nodes too, cant check status either. me 3... but as I set mine up on the 29th I don't even know if it is working correctly. |

If I have a backup of my wallet.dat, do I need to make another one when I install a newer version of the wallet? Or is one .dat file compatible across all versions?
I'm not sure if it is still the case, but it was said that the only time you need a new backup is when you create a new receiving address/change address... So while one .dat is compatible across versions, I believe you only need to worry if you have created new addresses or done transactions and had new change addresses created automatically for you. |

I was trying to use COIN CONTROL, and send some coins in a "PRIVACY mode" transaction
Coinz went out from a totally different address , not from those I've selected in "coin control"
Why?
Can't these 2 things ("coin control" & "PRIVACY mode") be used together?
Not in this release but it is on the list of things to do. Hi, I've been meaning to ask about the 'recent 'transactions' under 'overview'... Mine hasn't been working correctly for a long time now. I really liked it though. Is it on the to-do-list? |

moved my 2 r9 290's to the multipool, and i have to say, its the best pool i have ever used

does XC need jasinlee? if not then time to cut ties. What's the point of having this fud surrounding the coin if there is no need for it. Of course if there is hard evidence the guy is shady he needs to be gone asap.
Make it official.
I think Jasinlee deserves to be innocent until proven guilty...as we all should be, but I don't think there is any need to engage people who have outside issues. Maybe Jasinlee can help XC. Maybe lot's of other people can help XC, but if they are not team members then there is no need for the XC team to have to defend them nor discuss them IMHO +1 |

Guys anyone tested the Mixer release that ATC posted last night?
Is it suppose to receive payments already?
I've got it running. No payments, I'm not sure if it's supposed to, but also with volume so low I doubt anyone is mixing... |

I've had reasonable results from... http://www.altmining.farm...but I think that atc said something about details of a new xc multipool coming on Sunday...
Can anyone give me any advice on where to point my GPU mining rig these days? coinking seems to not pay all that well.

So what's the status on the Multipool?
I've been using this one: http://www.altmining.farmbecause the one at hashevolved is down but their payouts seem a bit low and I haven't gotten payed for the past few days but I an still mining there because my alternative is dark and that is looking like a bit of a lost cause right now. |

recieve coins, right click address >> copy public key thanks. one more question: how do i use xchat? (haha) on the xchat tab in wallet i see: my: <key provided here> (what is this key?) remote: <blank> (what goes here?) key: <blank> (what goes here?) thanks for the help, i really appreciate it! you use a receiving address of your own as the first. then the other person's address and then their pub key for that address... |

Dan, you should add voicechat to XChat, that would be a good feature.

I don't usually get drawn into commenting on forums. People have their own agendas, and I'm not concerned about stopping or starting "FUD". In the end you either have innovation, or not.
Dan has much more information about the coin, and about the collaboration. He has the best information to decide whether it would be beneficial or not. I'm invested in his development. I would like him to make the best decisions possible with the information he has. If you trust he will, then buy some of the coin, if you don't, then don't buy or sell what you have.
As far as, "They could have handled the announcement better". So could have many people on this forum.
In the end, you have innovation or not. The price will eventually only reflect the innovation, not the announcements, fud, or the rumors. As I am not contributing to the innovation, I let it run it's course as I certainly can't change it. I only write this to remind people, you are betting on Dan, and Dan making the best decisions possible.
I'd like to second this. I took the news positively, but pretty much any news on XC development rings positive to me... As long as we are not stagnating it is all good. I believe in the team and the project, so I just hold. I am also sure there are plenty more like me and theoriginal, we are just not as vocal as some... All the ego's need to be set aside a bit. The only person who is essential to this project is ATC, and you don't see him ranting and raving about what XC owes him. We should all just chill and wait for our speculation to bear returns (that's right, it's a speculation and not an investment, nobody here helps pay for ATC's rent, electricity, coffee, etc.). As original said, it is the product, and the man developing that product, that we are all betting on. Lastly, grow up and start treating women with a bit of respect. It didn't help anyone/thing to start being typical male pigs when a woman showed up in our thread. You do all realize that the world of people buying and spending money is at least 50% women right...? Why help exclude that market? |
