One of the major constraints causing serious challenges on newbies is the lack of paying attention and the desirability to read: it is expected of you to stay calm and composed, study the forum and how activities were been carried out, read as many as possible threads,on the forum, know the forum rules and understand, take time to study trends, make research online from diverse site and ask questions in the forum's beginners and help section in aspects you ain't clear about just as you did.

Varieties of useful links has been made available to you by forum members to read and study, make use of such opportunity and ultimately i will like to emphasize on two major rules that can help your journey a success if you abide by:
1. Don't plagiarize
2. No shit post
With this, i think you are good to go, welcome to the forum.
43  Other / Archival / Re: [GUIDE] How to add a countdown timer to a forum on: October 13, 2021, 07:50:23 AM
Using a timer really help in managing self amidst busy schedules and also help multitasking with accuracy in time management and efficiency, thou the use of this timer seems of less relevant to most as it is believed that within the little time you would have go online to set the timer and generate it one would have done with using the phone or analog one which is faster and uses no data connection. But on a sincere note this timer is really effective on those that spent much of their time online.

47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 11, 2021, 03:28:48 PM
To be honest i really want Bitcoin adoption in my country Nigeria and this has been the same ideal mindset of the teaming youths, its what we crave for but its unfortunately that our leaders does not see the future we had in it together with us, instead placing a ban, even twitter is currently on ban but we believe that in due time things will come to normalcy.

Bitcoin invention has brought in lots of opportunities to enable the previledge and interested ones to emerge out of the economic melt down and cramps, this could increase the Independency of businesses, organizations and individuals interest and value in financial related service thereby help in the stability of the economy as there will not be hoading, inflation and regulation embargo from constitututed authority (government).

Also, it was believed by some countries with the mentality that Cryptocurrency is one of the criminality elements to increase cyber crime and social vices as several people have been scammed through the platforms and of which the main intent for Bitcoin is decentralization and currency exchange with ease at a faster speed incurring low transaction fee.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM stolen in a liquior store on: October 11, 2021, 08:18:14 AM
Maybe the atm was mistook for the fiat one and moreover to me i see the Bitcoin atm is only meant to perform digital transactions whereby one can send and receive crypto unknowingly to them, i don't think any physical presence of Bitcoin is present, although their major intent is yet unknown but I think dey would have researched and found out that one or two devices enbedded inbthe atm could be useful and worth huge amount, or possibly they are the anti crypto category that which to just cause destruction on any crypto related activities.
Note its not everyone who is a fan of Cryptocurrency.

Considering the extent to how Cryptocurrency investment scam is increasing daily, it is also a desiring act to raise a counter campaign against it as information gives power to direct, we all know how the experience feels like if once being a scam victim, mistakes sometimes are inevitable if knowledge is in absentia.
The aim of this is to enlighten begginers on current and future elements of scam to look in for before investing in Cryptocurrency

FOCUS POINTS:

Investment scam is having a deceptive mind to lure, frame lies or fake things that appear interesting to individuals or group as an opportunity to make profit from but with a contrary intention not to pay or refund the victim back both funds and earnings after due task has been rendered.

it is advisable not to invest on what you're doubting about or lack the technical knowledge of, else you have reliable proves to ascertain such.
we have some investment with examples such as:
Cryptocurrency, forex trading, Ponzi schemes, these has the highest lead of perpetrators and victims.

Companies contact you out of the blue.  This could be through a cold call, text, message on social media, email or brochure.

It seems too good to be true.  The old saying rings true - if they downplay the risks but the investment is high return, it could be an investment scam.

They ask you to keep the investment quiet.  The scammer might tell you the investment opportunity is just for you and ask you not to tell anyone.

They’re not registered on the FCA website.  In the UK, a firm must be authorised and regulated by the FCA to do most financial services activities. See if they’re registered with the FCA.

53  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: October 08, 2021, 09:51:21 AM
If by any means criminals start adopting crypto in mass (especially privacy coins), we could expect a full government crackdown on the entire industry. Which is why I think it's best for criminals to continue using Fiat for the sake of the crypto/Blockchain industry's growth worldwide. But we'll never know what will happen in the future. Thoughts? Huh

Fraudulency is obviously observed in both fiat and Cryptocurrency, the main idea is that in fiat there are many loopholes to penetrate various elements of scam and theft such as physical or forceful acquisition in form of armed robbery, attacks on banks, pick pockets, careless in handling money, dubiousness, falsification, fake and pretendance for quality, among others.

while Cryptocurrency only has the highest victim of such to be on newbies, who don't have the full knowledge on how to identify criminality elements in disguise for promotions, free gifting of crypto, fake bounties, among others, and one can also be careless in revealing the logging credentials to wallets to the criminals.

Another interesting point is that fiat criminality can be operated by learnerd and uneducated personalities but Cryptocurrency need an expert already into crypto, skilled and equipped with digital informations, steady internet, smartness and skillful on information and technology system.

If you are scammed in crypto its as a result of your unscrupulous alertness and lack of technical know how, which the blame should be attributed to you. In a nutshell it is easier to operate fiat criminality than in crypto
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Will governments capitulate and finally recognize Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: October 08, 2021, 09:15:14 AM
After the El-Savador acceptance of Bitcoin as a legal tender, many countries have push a step forward toward the adoption by passing the legislative bill, i have a list of many countries who have taken such step with number of votes to predict the next El-Savador... Base on the highest votes it is predicted that Paraguay, Venezuela, Anguilla, Panama and India were the first five with highest votes on the proberbility of being the next to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender respectively.countries and regions that have passed legislation to enable cryptocurrency to be used as legal tender

Note that making Bitcoin a general acceptable legal tender by the whole word is a milestone journey on itself and has to a little vigorous challenges of ups and downs in a bid to eschew all forms of Cryptocurrency counter elements. But i can assure this can be achieved with time since the general populace of each country bids for the adoption and were involved actively in Cryptocurrency, in which adopted it will boost their economy, market cap, tax income, decrease poverty and promote independency,  you can imagine how the population of Cryptocurrency users increases each day.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exchanges are charging a big amount as transaction fee on withdrawal on: October 08, 2021, 08:40:57 AM
It is really annoying to pay big amounts as transaction fee. Today myself encountered a pathetic situation. I was in need of money, and my wallet had $400 worth of TRX. I wasn't able to change it directly to fiat, and for this reason I deposited the entire TRX in an exchange and traded against bitcoin. Now on withdrawing it exchange took a transaction fee of 0.0009 btc and what is left is around $350 worth bitcoin.

If this is the scenario surely then we can't make a plan with what is available in the wallet.

Please post the exchanges with the low transaction fee and good trading volume. Maybe next time it'll help me.

58  Economy / Service Discussion / can social network run on decentralization on: October 04, 2021, 08:27:21 PM
Suggestions were been made on operating the social media on a decentralized network on block chain which is said to totally avoid any break in transmission as the Mark Zuckerberg's four most influential social media network (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and messenger) is down for the second time this year.

Am yet to get the correlation between the network outage and the spiking of Bitcoin on bullish run from $47k to $49k, secondly could it be possible if Mark Zuckerberg will truly adhere to suggestive motions to run on a decentralized network on block chain.Bitcoin moves past $49K as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp go down

60  Economy / Micro Earnings / what faucet is with common examples on: October 03, 2021, 07:38:48 PM
I've really thought about bringing in this topic here talking more about faucets and what its offers, types and so on.

What is faucet:
They are smallest amount of btc offered as a reward to completing a particular task or workdone online using either the mobile application or directly from the website.
It is also sometimes reffered to as begginers demo of first approach on Bitcoin so as to help them know, study and get acquainted with the Cryptocurrency trading and so on before the Bitcoin or any other crypto is fully launched by a begginer, this help in avoiding errors regarding handling of wallets and avoiding scams.

Faucet shouldn't be mistaken for a Token, they are two different things and underlisted here are the different faucets we have to mention few.

Moon bitcoin
Contiply
Bonus bitcoin
BTCclicks
Satoshi quiz
Fire faucet.
Coinpayu
Faicet crypto
Bit sun
Bitcoin Aliens

I strongly advise begginers in Cryptocurrency to start with the very little accumulated earnings from faucets to get used into the system before fully engaged in it, which helps lower the level of risk and fraudulency that might endangers beginners to get discouraged and find it difficult doing crypto.
