41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GRE] GreenCoin |Carbon Offsetting Crypto| Buy, Sell, and Trade Carbon! on: June 19, 2014, 02:35:38 PM
"I would love to reimburse you for the amount you lost"........uhhhm, wow.....I have never seen a coin dev make such an offer!  I have felt it since the very start of this thread and am excited to see the kindness and just downright cool ass people involved with this coin!!  It sure is different than most other coins and launches I have been in.

People are starting to say "buy in the dev and not the coin", I have to say that if there is any truth to that.....then GreenCoin is the best investment I have seen to date in this crazy crypto world!!  I have been a strong supporter since day one and as long as this crew is on the job, I don't see that changing for a long time to come.

Very true and I am happy to report I was reimbursed for all the lost coins! Go GreenCoin!!  Smiley

The pool http://gre.cryptojunkie.com has unexpectedly shut down and I have lost many thousands of GRE

This is yet another official pool that shut down and wasted my rental rig and lost GRE Huh

What is going on here? Any suggestions?

Thank you

Minecoinseveryday,

I haven't seen any issues with Cryptojunkie. I'll ask the pool operator, FalconCrypto, if he sees and issues on his end.

As far as the "yet another", I believe you are referring to the first pool we had made, and I was scammed by that pool operator. I would love to reimburse you for the amount you lost; Just provide me with a relative figure and we will get that sorted out.

Also, we have a pool being created that will serve as our official pool. Hope this helps.

I have sent you a PM. It appears they blocked one of my IPs causing the downtime. The other IP was able to login successfully and verify the coins were there. So this is a good thing since I did enjoy using CryptoJunkie.com

Thank you for your prompt response!

I was mining on http://altcoinpools.org and the site suddenly stopped and I have lost thousands of coins, hopefully not but you never know. For now I am solo mining do you have any suggestions?

Apologies, I've contacted that mining pool op. Choose any other pool from that list - updating the OP now.

Any news? I believe I lost about 4500 GRE that were still unconfirmed on that site before the site went dead.

I have moved to cryptojunkie.com using username greencoinguy

Payment address is GTU1iGxVoppPikZKxs1nkQDbpxo7YeJjWM

New user here. First post. Just wanted to extend my thanks to GAW for handling my order issue. It was slow (took 4 days) but theyre busy so I understand.

I had ordered a Fury and sent the BTC requested but Cryptsy(?) took out a fee and sent less than GAW wanted. I didnt notice until there was 10 seconds left on the order that I still needed to send 0.0005 BTC. Luckily they were understanding a let the remaining BTC slide and now I anxiously await my Week 2 Fury!

This will be my first ASIC, looking forward to learning all about this. Its been fun reading everyone experiences the last few days

Thanks GAW!
