BLACKCOIN MANDATORY UPDATE INCLUDES POS 2.0.so will C2 update too,when the POS2.0 source is released?
No pos2.0 is pointless. we went over this. I don't think it fits in our development goals. All it does it change Stake = (Coinage * coin * something else) to Stake = (Coin * something else) It just gives people with smaller wallets a reason to not stake since they will NEVER hit, POS 2.0 encourages 51% attacks/ |

Thx, here are some old ideas for game-modes. I'm sure they are already planned but maybe 1 or 2 aren't in the loop. I don't know how much work is needed to get this ideas in the game, therefore this is all just brainfarting. 1. COINS FOR KILL (DEATHMATCH / TEAM DEATHMATCH): Everyone on its own or as a team. Everyone is in with its own money, if you get killed your killer gets your money. As a team you throw your money into a team-fund, that pays for the deaths of all teammembers. 2. CAPTURE THE FUNDS (CTF): Every team has a terminal. Each team tries to reach the enemies terminal and download the blockchain (or team-wallet maybe) on an usb. Then this usb-stick has to be returned to the own terminal (or team-wallet), where you have to upload it. Simple capture the flag but works well in a crypto-theme. Just imagine how pissed you are if you see someone run away with your whole teams funds. 3. 51%-ATTACK (CONQUEST): Everywhere in the level are terminals (or laptops etc) with wallets that have to be connected to the net / synchronized. The team that gets 51% of the blockchain once all nodes / wallets / whatever are online slowly transfers coins from the other teams wallet to their own teams wallet. 4. BLOCKCHAIN (RUSH): One Team is the Defender of all Terminals, the other team has to get to the terminals in a particular order, they have to start with terminal 1, download the genesis-block, go to terminal 2, mine the coins, go to terminal 3, secure the blockchain and finally on terminal 4, go live (whatever that means). Its a "kind of" story-driven game-mode. 5. CRYPTO WARS (SQUAD DEATHMATCH): Up to 4 teams / squads fight with their teams funds against each other. They have to work together because every kill costs them coins from their squad-funds. Jan you are a f***ing genius! (also expect a pm from me in a bit) |

 This is really cool   PocketCrypto App has been released, a new Cryptocurrency Management App. I feel like C2 has lots of potential. I think currently Mintpal is supported only so far for this app. Where is it getting that info from, that doesnt look like the right price... I wish i would sell maybe 100k and go buy a WRX or something |

We(Read:I) are writing a game from the GROUND up. Our team isn't huge. I am the only programmer, and i have to split my tasks up between wallet, game, real life, labor ready. So I do work as much as I can, but they have a team of scripters.  I have to write an entire backend for the game, and when i say backend i mean a master server from scratch. the C2 integration. Also making sure we aren't going to be hacked by Keyboard warriors(scriptkiddies); This is peoples money that basically all falls back on me if it is something stupid these kids can get away with cause I am the only one checking over the code. Seriously making a game from the ground up takes years even with a game engine already there. Big companies have budgets of MILLIONS of Dollars yet a game still takes tens of Thousands of man hours to complete. So just put that into perspective a bit. If it takes big companies millions of dollars and thousands of man hours how is it possible that you can pull this off on your own? Don't get me wrong I support C2.1 and have a considerable stake and appreciate all your hard work but it just seems like an undoable task. Think about how many indie companies do it. Go watch indie game the movie. Come back with insight into how it works. Wow everything i type can be misconstrued as snarky but this is not the case. |

Lol Kal, Yo da man!!!! i wasnt trying to talk down on their skills or anything. Just saying that We are doing way more advanced level stuff than they are. They hire someone in btc to make a script that handles it and boom they have another game. Hey no need to defend!!! I know the difference between designing and writing some thing from the ground up and simply configuring and adding a few add-ons/plugins with a bit of tailoring thrown in. Take your time and do it right. Faster in the long run :-) Not faster but BETTER yes. |

I found it. Coin2 isn't the 1st gaming Cryptocoin anymore.  Coin2 has lot to do to catch up since Hypercoin already produced 2 games while Coin2 only game still in the alpha stage. I'm betting on Coin2 CoC will be a hit game, 10000x players? It doesn't matter that they are first. They are just writing scripts. CS->lua Minecraft->java(Not script but pretty close for their addons) Zangadort->php All this shit they have the foundation layed out for. Minecraft, CS, and Zangadort are all FULL games. Ok guys I am trying my best to convert these old unity levels. They kinda fell apart 0.0 But don't worry(I am the wallet programmer as well) I will first get a demo of CoC out then the new wallet. Trust me this is a very time consuming task and 99.9% of my attention has been on the game But the .1% has been taking a good amount of my time too as my college classes started on monday Don't worry i hope to have a demo out in the next couple days. Prepare for full on Mind blown-ness! |

I'm just gonna LOL at people saying we do no marketing, Say "I" if you noticed the small bit we did in the last 3 days, it wasn't much but I've seen new people popping in and asking silly questions, which the more new people we have and answer these silly questions the more likely they are to tell their friends, so play nice guys. I know my language is bad and we know I don't care, lol, my thing is no matter how many pages I miss, I wanna know wtf is going on without having to ask someone and get bad information, so I take the time and read. Some of these noobs like gossip and rumors instead of truth so play nice with them, but roslin is right, supply and demand, were busting our asses here trying to get something out this week, so better start stock piling some while you can, the demo is gonna make you creme your pants.

Thank you. He's buying at his set price. I am admire his patience. Now I can relax too. Well hopefully I will have something that will make the price of coins go up a bit in the next 2 days or so :> sounds awesome Hopefully it will not disappoint. But I am only one person and their were some pretty heavy changes made in the game. Hopefully you can understand how difficult the level we are working at is. I was working on another project before I started working on Coin2(In its first stage) and that project still comes up and doinks me every once in a while. I have been thinking about working it into C2 as well But not sure if I am(I most likely will but atm, no plans for it) Just been laying down the foundation on that. If ANYONE is an extremely experienced level designer and has worked with game engines before please pm me. I can't really pay much but for work done i will be able to give you some coin2 from the bounty bowl |
