41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks either adapt or face death on: November 01, 2021, 09:54:25 AM
The digital age brought our lives to a second universe - The internet. Ever since the internet set sail Banks had to adapt and present new services and options to their users. However, the digital also brought us digital money and financial freedom. Cryptocurrency is here to stay and is bound to disrupt the way we manage and relate with our money. Banks will need to adapt or they face certain death. While some Banks and financial institutions have been historically fighting cryptocurrency others have already understood the need to adapt to stay ahead of the curve as in the case of some Spanish Banks. Nevertheless, this is still a new technology and Governments with its old fashion regulation as well as their Central Banks are yet to implement adequate regulation and are still a bi hindrance for cryptos to go mainstream.

Luckily, things are changing rapidly and mainstream adoption may come sooner than we think. Do you guys think, this will happen within this decade or not?

The history shows that markets adapt – at least over time, they have no other choise. But what amount of time will it take -that is a good question, I'd like to think that we will be witnesses of this.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: November 01, 2021, 09:40:37 AM
It's your money, do whatever you want, though I would never advise anyone to sell all of their bitcoin selling 20% to 30% is a reasonable strategy for those who don't want to wait years for a potential windfall Wink
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / An example of a Powerful Rebranding on: November 01, 2021, 09:30:42 AM
XEC token

Its native token “XEC” powers the eCash platform with significant use-cases such as token minting and staking.

Token Minting: With this feature, XEC token holders can mint tokens with a personalized name, icon, decimal places, and supply using the eCash coin protocol. However, users are required to pay for network transaction fees using XEC tokens. In addition, the eCash platform supports NFTs.
Staking: This feature allows XEC crypto holders to participate in Avalanche staking as a part of eCash governance.

Initially, the token ticker for the XEC coin was BCHA (Bitcoin Cash ABC). Now, it has undergone rebranding to change the ticker symbol and redenomination of the token. This rebranding allows BCHA coin holders to convert their digital assets to XEC tokens at a ratio of 1:1,000,000.

eCash also aims at being a user-friendly platform with the help of upgrades like “bits”, which makes it possible to send small XEC crypto payments. Users can now alternatively send an amount like 10 bits instead of inputting a cumbersome value like 0.00001 BTC.

The strategies and plans put in place by eCash to increase XEC market value include the XEC token redenomination process. They argue that psychologically, the market analysis suggests that lower unit prices enjoy better bull market appreciation. Therefore, eCash coin described the redenomination process as a “no-brainer”.

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is Ark and how does it work? on: October 29, 2021, 07:41:24 AM
Ark is both a cryptocurrency and a decentralized blockchain ecosystem that enables both developers and entities to create their own customizable blockchain. It’s designed in a way that it can give developers easier access by solving the difficulty of working with blockchain technology. It does this by reducing the need for Smart Contracts and allows the use of custom transactions, ARKLogic, and over 18 programming languages. It went live in 2017 after a successful ICO event where it sold 100 million ARK tokens and raised $800,000.
To ensure that the ARK ecosystem attracts and keeps a big number of users, the ARK team adopted the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm. Users who stake their ARK crypto are able to elect 51 delegate nodes. These nodes are then responsible for forging blocks, where they get rewarded with 2 ARKs. They also share a part of their rewards with the users who voted for them. The total block time for ARK is 8 seconds, therefore, the total daily reward is about 200 ARKs.

The ARK blockchain usually referred to as the ARK core, is considered to be at the cutting edge of blockchain innovations. Launched in early 2017, the ARK blockchain is one of the fastest and most scalable blockchains in the industry. Some of the major attractions of the ARK blockchain include 8 seconds block time, built-in ARK SmartBridge, and custom ARK smart transactions. It provides a break away from the usual high fees, blockchain congestion, and network inefficiencies.

46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 28, 2021, 08:16:59 AM
If you pass away right now without leaving anyone the private key, your bitcoins effectively become inaccessible to anyone. It's like, if you leave your private key behind without a clear explanation of what it is and how to use it, your bitcoins are likely to stay lost. So it's better you access bitcoin while you’re alive.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia doesn't wants its citizens earning with cryptos on: October 28, 2021, 08:06:31 AM
I can be mistaken, but from what I've heard about Russia it's government doesn't want citizens to earn in any kind of way  Grin
48  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Reasons why opting for a cryptocurrency exchange aggregator is a good choice on: October 27, 2021, 11:26:13 AM
an exchange aggregator platform partners with multiple exchanges
~Snipped~
thanks to the amount of partners
If I were you, I would've not referred to them as your partner since you're just using their APIs.
- It doesn't matter if there are certain platforms out there that inappropriately use that term (at the end of the day, you're not their partner and they're not yours).

4) Do I have to go through a registration process?
You don’t have to sign up and pass verification to use the service, you can convert cryptocurrencies anonymously.
That's also incorrect! They're indirectly using "other services" through your platform and those exchanges could/might ask for various things:

1) That's we call each other mutually, that's not our initiative, cause we cooperate on the terms of partnership.
2) We personally do not ask for a registration and we provide the information whether exchange has no KYC.

It's still important to hear comments like yours, so thanks

First and foremost, are you really the PR person of Swapzone or are you, in your own words, simply vouching for it? If you are simply vouching, then this is by no means an announcement thread and shouldn't be in this specific section. But if you are a legit staff of Swapzone tasked to create an announcement thread here, please do it in a more direct way, unlike the way you are doing it now.

I really am a part of the Swapzone team, and you have a point, got it
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade using instinct on: October 27, 2021, 07:17:56 AM
Hello buddy
I am a new user in crypto, I learned a lot from friends who have been using crypto for a very long time, previously I lost a lot of assets, because of the experience and lessons I learned so that I can trade well, I have profited from BSC coins and now I have not invested in any other altcoins. Can you provide any suggestions for potential future altcoins?
I have $1226 in assets, Thank you. Smiley
Want to jump straight to the answer? The best altcoins in 2021 are ETH, LINK, UNI, XLM, AAVE and SOL.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safemoon Price Prediction on: October 27, 2021, 07:15:08 AM
So here's the question: Is Safemoon a good investment?

53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Safemoon Price Prediction on: October 27, 2021, 06:35:21 AM
Safemoon is one of the new cryptocurrencies to debut in the market in 2021.

The amount of media attention that Safemoon has received despite being new to the market tells a lot. The majority of investors opting for Safemoon right now believe that its value could reach new heights.

Here are some several future Safemoon price predictions:

Safemoon Price Prediction 2022
There are no sudden risks for the crypto market in the near future. Therefore, as long as Safemoon’s investor confidence continues to grow, then chances are the price will rise. Market experts predict that the price of Safemoon will cross into the $0.00000600 mark by 2022.

Safemoon Price Prediction 2025
Market analysts believe that Safemoon’s consistent performance expected during the years will have set it up to improve over the coming years. Additionally, if investors start to understand the true value of holding rather than selling, then the price is bound to rise to $0.000151 by 2025 eating up one zero.

Safemoon Price Prediction 2030
It’s a little challenging to make a long-term future Safemoon price prediction as many factors can affect Safemoon’s price in the long term. Market analysts predict that the price of Safemoon as of January 2030 will be around $0.05 approaching 1 cent.

Questions that you may have:

1) Do I have to pay extra fees for transaction?
Many aggregators don't charge any extra fees, you pay only blockchain fees and exchange partner's exchange fees.

2) What if I need a specific token?
Well, usually thanks to the amount of partners that these platforms have, they support a lot of different coins and tokens.

3) How can I trust such a platform?
Exchange aggregators do not process user funds in any way...

4) Do I have to go through a registration process?
Usually, you don’t have to sign up and pass verification to use the service...

FAQs are supposed to be questions pertaining to the platform you are promoting, in this case Swapzone. So you don't provide general responses. The questions refer to Swapzone. Why respond vaguely?

Those are actually the questions that I found about our competitors, they're not vague, It's just that I can't generally speak for all aggregators, but I can directly answer any kind of questions about Swapzone

So now there are middlemen for the middlemen?  Yeah, that sounds like progress.   Roll Eyes

What if I launch a new service which is designed to help people decide which aggregator to use?  Am I really helping others?  Or just helping myself to a slice of the pie?

That entire business model needs to go in the trash.

So you're saying that you don't use aggregators to choose tickets for example?
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 26, 2021, 10:59:52 AM
Nowadays we need to be careful when publicly admitting to owning Bitcoin. A lot of crypto traders have been receiving threats as in the case of Daniel one of the guys from Chart Champions.

Things are escalating as, apparently, a 14-year-old kid from England got kidnapped after bragging on social media posts about having lots of money made from trading cryptocurrencies.

That's why I don't like anyone to know I'm in the Crypto business.

I don't think that it was ever safe to make a coming out like that, people don't like what they don't understand, it makes them curious, but you never know their reaction, so simply say you're an accountant Grin

When it comes to paying with crypto, I think Paypal is your best friend, cause it's definitely mine. I usually prefer Ethereum or BCH Wink
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is important for a country? or not... on: October 26, 2021, 10:40:49 AM
Actually, crypto currencies could provide a significant benefit by overcoming the lack of social trust and by increasing the access to financial services as they can be considered as a medium to support the growth process in developing countries by increasing financial inclusion, providing a better traceability of funds and to help people to escape poverty, and that's not only my opinion.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Reasons why opting for a cryptocurrency exchange aggregator is a good choice on: October 26, 2021, 10:24:11 AM
To begin with, an exchange aggregator platform partners with multiple exchanges and offers users an integrated and simplified experience. Thus, you don't need to skip to multiple exchanges, you can receive all the information needed at a single platform.
Furthermore, price comparison becomes simple and instantaneous you are able to make an informed choice.
