41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 03, 2019, 11:55:45 AM
where is fillippone? busy with statistics?

how is that? Giorgio Moroder style too?

https://youtu.be/7ZFUns38D_Q

Here I am.
Good memories from that song, but Daft Punk are way superior, and Giorgio Moroder sits on another planet.
I really cannot pick one:
https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/mar/28/giorgio-moroder-his-20-greatest-songs-ranked

I think only, I repeat ONLY, reason to miss the '80s is the music.

Anyway.
I am always here, lurking in the shadow, waiting to be summoned.
Trying to dray attention to my monthly blurb, but apparently I am way more successful as meme provider than deep toughts source.

and that's quite important ! :-)

44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 28, 2019, 08:30:53 AM
it is funny how people react to this price correction! c'mon, there is people expecting 100k USD in a year or so but can't stand a 2k move down ...

45  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 27, 2019, 10:17:07 AM

oh of course.
https://reason.com/2019/06/05/if-we-told-you-neal-stephenson-invented-bitcoin-would-you-be-surprised/
everything makes sense now

Quote
Fall may not be Stephenson's best novel, but it might be his most Stephensonian.

At roughly 900 pages, it is a smorgasbord of acronyms and ideas, action and exposition, characters and subplots.
No, I am absolutely not surprised at clickbait.

Why do you people keep talking about this shit?
Ouch. Right in the amygdala, you bastard.
This time it's different? Ok this time it's not different.
But it is more about the Neal, who is of legitimate interest to some. To others, the Neal's star shone briefly and pallidly.
Have you read any?
It's just weird. We are literally at the forefront of a technological breakthrough that could revolutionize the world, we stand to become filthy rich if things play out as they have been, we are the one percent of the one percent. We know how the tech works. And people keep paying fucking attention to scammers. WHY?!

i can spot a mr robot fan here
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the next bubble's hook? on: May 15, 2019, 08:50:53 AM
I think that bitcoin will be pumped to 100 000$ without any hook and after that it will be released for masses.

It will be STO (Security Token Offering) or "AI coins".
STO - tokens that are not "utility tokens" as others but securities. Owning them makes you "shareholder". You will get weekly/monthly/annually rewards which will be equal to part of company incomes and it will be guarantee due to smart contract... This will be huge.

Ai coins - I think that IA based companies will be next bubble (not only in crypto). It will be as huge as .com bubble. As crypto market is very often compared to start-up market lots of investors will come here to invest in IA start-up seeing how US stocks based on IA are being pumped. And this bubble will be huge since AI (or rather ML - we may never see true AI) is a groundbreaking technology and its impact on the profits of companies is almost impossible to etimate (thous every new price level will be accepted).

prolly you are right, there is a lot of buzz about STO in last months..
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: China mining decision May 7 on: May 07, 2019, 08:12:17 AM
last time China took an official negative stance towards bitcoin operations was second half 2017 ...
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DeepOnion Private Digital Currency DeepVault App Released - New Thread✅ on: March 20, 2019, 07:54:15 AM
nice! back on track with this project
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which cryptocurrency is best to buy today? on: September 21, 2018, 12:03:57 PM
BTT blocktrade ?
i think this project has great potential, exchange is coming next month, they are going to be full MIFID II compliant plus a partnership with polymath
they are also going to quote the token on own exchange with 100% burn rate (token will be used to buy membership an pay fees)

actual price (despite huge growth in last three days) is very cheap in my opinion, only drawback is that is quote only in few exchanges at the moment
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 250 NEO or 2.500 Tezos or 10.300 XRP or 2500 NEBLs? What would you choose? on: September 21, 2018, 09:46:08 AM
not sure about xrp.. i have quite a bunch but buying right after a great spike is not the best strategy me thinks,

in past years (i am following xrp market since 2013 :-) ) xrp boomed min 2 times per year, the second bigger than the first but after every spike there is a relative long period of donward trend
but please do not base your investing strategy only on my takes on the subject :-) maybe someone more educated will add something
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: September 19, 2018, 07:27:35 AM
Ripple is a good speculative coin. Today ripple showed very good growth and I had a hope that this project will give me a good chance to earn.
It's so good speculative coin that some people are talking about XRP being number 1 of the cryptocurrencies and that prices will be $500! Definitely if this happens, the world will be inside out and basically will kill the BTC! There are future XRP distribution programs for people and of course, people like inflation coins and still for free. It's a funny situation.

"future XRP distribution programs fpr people" Huh? what are you talking about? i doubt they are going to airdrop xrp ...
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Your Expectation on DeepOnion on: June 14, 2018, 02:20:48 PM
can someone explain to me what exactly does privacy coin mean?  Why would price go up or down?  why should it be worth any money?

essencially is a coin that add a layer of security to your financial transactions preventing others to check your coin movement history

deeponion for example works integrating different layers: 1st is that has natively implemented the tor protocol that basically makes traffic jump from point to point making extremely difficult to trace you data requests (i am trying to be easy as i can, for more techincal info visit the tor project homepage) , 2nd it offers you the possibility to use stealth address to receive payment meaning that you can use a public address not directly likable to you, 3rd (yet to implement) gives you the possibility to send anonimous payment trough the deepprotocol

for more info visit deeponion.org clicking on my sig ;-)
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepOnion ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Stealth Address ⚡ VoteCentral Domi-nation⚡ on: June 13, 2018, 11:28:19 AM
Yes, great new thread. DeepOnion is growing fast and the community is very strong!

and yet still not hitting general interest from traders ... i do not understand what is the real problem (apart from being quoted in top tier exchange but kucoin and cryptopia are very good alternatives, the former in particular)
there are projects that markets same concepts, born in the same period, that are seeing much more volume and diffusion .. but at the same time do not offer the same level of tech and development

hope things are gonna change soon
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC WILL GO UNDER 1K$ on: June 13, 2018, 08:48:19 AM
Now 6700$ to 4k$, than 4k$ to 1$ and  1k$ to 500$,

why the F*** are you buying bitcoin then?

What makes you think he's buying bitcoins? Maybe he was paid by a few Satoshi to spread panic among the community. I don't believe in such "experts". Selling bitcoins at current prices is suicide. I'm willing to wait a few years but I won't sell bitcoin below $ 15,000.

i don't think it is a suicide, it all depends on your price entry, we still are more then double versus one year ago! (actually around 160%)
if someone bought at lower price then actual and think that price is going down more then it is right to sell and buy again when you think that bottom has been reached
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepOnion ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Stealth Address ⚡ VoteCentral Domi-nation⚡ on: June 08, 2018, 12:37:31 PM
Why not they would be, while we are greedy Grin
Don't take it personally, man.
its good to be greedy from time to time Cheesy

I can't stand greedy people, those who have as their sole objective the accumulation of money...
These exchanges are always moving the goalposts. We will get tier 1 eventually
Then we get the price we deserve

we need to consider what deeper wrote in linked post on official deeponion forum: fee is too much considering the service offered,
i do not know the technicalities but i am sure our devs have and i trust their judgment,
ok, we can direct our efforts toward another exchange :-)
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepOnion ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Stealth Address ⚡ VoteCentral Domi-nation⚡ on: June 07, 2018, 11:03:47 AM

I was just there to give my daily vote and saw that we won the first round.
Great stuff!

ok you talk about first round, that is undoubtely a wonderful start but... anyone knows how many rounds are there ?

There will be 5 monthly rounds in total and a winner from every round will be listed. So you don't need to worry, we are in. They will just add 4 more coins that win other monthly rounds.

ok, wonderful news then, shardax potentially could be a top tier exchange in few months
there is a lot of competition actually on exchange side ...

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: June 07, 2018, 07:36:42 AM
there are indeed a lot of altcoins, too much effectively
nobody knows who is going to survive (we all be rich in that case, right?) but we can see general trends and try to guess based upon that

for me general trends emerging are decentralization of exchanges and privacy coin (and that is why i partecipated on the deeponion project i have on my sig),
i can't say if this two trends will boom in 2018 or later, but in my opinion they will :-)

Bytheway Bitbox Voting Date is not certain we have just approved we hope to catch next voting currently we don't know 8 jun or the other week we will be ready

well, personally i think a little more time is better in order to organize our army :-)
jokes apart, if the voting system requires to buy bibox coin maybe someone need to register and buy some coins so time could effectively help
