41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give me a break! on: December 28, 2014, 03:03:55 PM

You are holding the best hybrid of currency, commodity and store of value world has ever seen and does not know about it yet. It’s based on Mathematics…

As much as a I love bitcoin it hasn't been a great store of value this year. Lost the most amount of value than most fiat currencies currently.

In 5 to 10 years you will be able to walk into your local coffee shop, supermarket or a gas station and scan your credit-card size hardware wallet with the same ease as using your credit card today. All complexities of the protocol and difficult to understand underlying technology will be hidden behind secure, intuitive and easy to use interface.

Well I certainly hope you're right.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2015 Official Year of Crypto Currency on: December 28, 2014, 03:02:04 PM
Doubt all the alt coins will go anywhere next year, but I think bitcoin has yet to have its 'year'. Give it a couple of years for that to happen. Bitcoin still has a long way to go and it will take time.

How much for waffles or what invites (or any other similar music tracker)?
44  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] used GENUINE NOKIA 3210 on: December 15, 2014, 03:07:29 PM
Wow that's old school. I used to own one about 15+ years ago. Can't image they're worth more than a few dollars in that condition so can't see you having much interest on here. Try sell locally and just buy the coins with the money.
45  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SELL NETFLIX PREMIUM ACCOUNT LIFETIME WARRANTY ONLY 4$ on: November 29, 2014, 02:28:55 PM
These seem very cheap. Do they work worldwide and are they shared accounts? Meaning many people use the same log in details?
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: November 29, 2014, 02:25:41 PM
USD is getting stronger, gas prices going down in USA - meaning foreign currencies are declining in value - is this good for BTC?

Getting stronger according to who? Gas prices going down doesn't equals the dollar strengthening, and there are many currencies doing much better than the dollar. Which currencies are you talking about?
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great news from France on: November 14, 2014, 05:21:21 PM
Bitcoin isn't a hot topic in general or for them? I don't really mind when they start accepting it as long as they're still interested in doing it at some point.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Support OpenBazaar!!! on: November 14, 2014, 05:14:08 PM
OpenBazaar shares would ruin the whole point of it being open source and decentralised, if you want shares then get the OpenBazaar code and start your own company.

That's my thoughts on the matter

I'm sure people will do this. People are always greedy and will want to make money from this great idea. Hopefully the market will dictate which way these kind of marketplaces will go and how they will develop without centralised entities or people taking their cut.
49  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Signature Campaign to Use? on: November 02, 2014, 11:58:21 AM
best signature for newbie
is lightlord's signature campaign

Bitin.io or 777Coin

payment rate : Newbies: 0.00004 BTC / post
(BETTER THAN FAUCET)

But you are not allow to follow both of them at same time

that mean you must choose one of both

These are currently the only two you can use. Hardly worth it really but better than faucets I suppose. Be careful not to make shitty posts though or you'll probably get banned.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will just atrophe? on: November 02, 2014, 11:55:38 AM
The problem of merchant acceptance is not resolved and without it Bitcoin is just valueless tokens. There might be a limited supply but a limited supply of something that is not used for anything.

But more and more merchants are gradually accepting it. We can't expect mass adoption over night. This will take time. Bitcoin's may largely remain as some sort of speculative 'token', but they're obviously not valueless.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PAYPAL FOUNDER PETER THIEL: “BITCOIN IS THE OPPOSITE OF PAYPAL” on: October 22, 2014, 03:55:33 PM
I'd take the being the opposite of paypal as a compliment.

Oh, and people were using Paypal to buy drugs on certain darknets and I'm sure it's easier to buy drugs with paypal than it is with btc.
52  Other / Off-topic / Re: What inspires you to pursue bitcoin? on: October 22, 2014, 03:14:25 PM
For me, its just a simple answer. Curiosity and because it is the trend nowadays. I hope bitcoin live long xD

I don't think you should get involved just because its the 'trend' or trendy right now. Personally I'm involved because I think it's a genius idea and could revolutionize the world just like the internet did.
53  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling 1500GBP johnlewis.com vouchers (UK) on: September 30, 2014, 02:49:31 PM
nah it's not. It's been in my account balance for a long time which I can proof and also have I purchased over 2.5K GBP with my account already.

100% legit.

Why not post the proof then? Spending over 2.5k doesn't really proove anything either.

http://www.partnershipcard.co.uk/

I am assuming this is how you have obtained these vouchers - by spending on this card?

Probably not but he'll try use that as an excuse now. These types of discounted vouchers or credit are always obtained bad ways. Maybe op doesn't know it and is just reselling or maybe he's the carder trying to make some money, but I'd ask for all proof before buying this.
54  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {Selling} - Starbucks Gift Card 35% on: September 30, 2014, 02:33:49 PM
Is there any legit way people can obtain these cards and sell them so cheaply? Some peoples cards seem to never get cancelled whilst others get wiped very quickly.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Explosion on: September 16, 2014, 05:24:36 PM
I think it would be unwise to get rid of your fiat money all together, but good luck if you're trying to make a political statement by doing so. I guess you could live off amazon and your grocery store but it'd be hard  Cheesy.
56  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign on: September 16, 2014, 04:41:21 PM
There's not many options for a newbie and they pay not very much so that's why I don't bother with them. You can choose one that allows newbies from the signature overview thread that someone posted though.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power Company Tip Leads to Bitcoin Mining Raid on: September 14, 2014, 03:58:56 PM
What a low, scummy douchebag act!
You don't betray people to the authorities like that, it's like fucking East germany

It's not uncommon for electric companies to tip of the police about any suspicious usage.
58  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ann Coulter: We should kill and convert leaders into Christianity on: September 14, 2014, 03:40:33 PM
Ann Coulter is a colossal bitch and an abhorrent person. She's your typical ignorant American Christian fundamentalist who thinks her country can do no wrong.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker Leaks Celebrity Nudes for BTC on: September 01, 2014, 10:47:58 AM
Where is the evidence that he sold them for Bitcoin?

He hasn't. He tried to sell them to TMZ but then gave some away and posted his btc address and people donated. Maybe he might try sell the rest for bitcoins though but that's just speculation.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alex Jones is pro-BTC, says his store will begin to accept as payment... on: August 11, 2014, 04:38:22 PM
Last time I heard Jones thought bitcoin was part of the Illuminati.
