Hey Guys,

Can anyone create a provable unspendable burn address?

it should contain as many X's possible and a valid checksum.

it can also contain the word "burn"

Will appreciate your kind help.

I could do it but why do you want it?

Now my wallet has synchronized and works well !!!!  Grin Grin Grin

So it was just a hard block? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I made some small transactions from c-cex to my wallet, just after I did that another 20+ transactions appeared in the block explorer.  Maybe the dev can explain but i've seen this happen recently on another POS coin I had.  The blockchain seemed to get stuck unless there's other traffic (i.e. coin transfers) on the network.

With that coin I made a bot which transferred a small amount 3 or 4 times a minute and it made a huge difference to network speed.  A faucet might help too, anything that generates coins moving around the network.  If everybody sits with coins staking or on c-cex then nothing is going to move.

Block explorer is stuck again.  I'm going to bring it down and start it up clean again.  Has anyone heard from the dev yet?

Just deleted all but wallet.dat on one of the daemons and when I brought it back online and it synced it was 1913 with 8 connections

did you see my msg asking the version of mongodb you use?

http://178.62.19.234:3001/

this is the blockexplorer that C-CEX use

i woke up this morning and my wallet is stuck at block 1785.. whats up with that?

try to add
Quote
addnode=85.214.95.177
in ur conf and sync again

I'm not sure it is used by C-CEX? It's the one I put up and all 3 of my wallets seem to be stuck again, at block 1850

*EDIT* OK, maybe not stuck, seems to be on the move again now, the cronjob only runs once a minute

currently block 1856 @ 12:23 GMT
what does everyone else have?

That's the same block C-CEX is stuck on, I just sent them a support ticket.

I have 3 wallets all on block 1850 currently.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinT [BT] | X11 | TAKEOVER THREAD on: May 02, 2015, 12:00:18 PM
still 0 of 7 at c-cex and now 23 confirms at wallet

I think C-CEX are on a stuck chain so hopefully your transfer will be OK when then update it.

I put the Block explorer back online on what I *think* is the right chain, at least I have 3 clients on 3 separate boxes that agree.

I have also disabled staking in my wallet.  I think everybody ought to do the same until the issue is investigated and fixed if necessary.

*EDIT*

It looks like there's a fork to me.  My QT wallet on windows shows block 1762 with the blockexplorer on a different box showing 1785.

There's a coin supply difference of ~5k too which presumably is the lucky stake somebody got a few blocks back?

anyone got any input on this? unless someone can come in buy some coinage and start staking this coins going nowhere.
is there a new wallet?
I got this one from bitcoinT thread

It's staking fine.  The timer isn't a countdown, it's an estimate, the rest is down to luck.  You just need to wait in line for a stake, took a few hours for me.

Besides, it's still in POW phase and lucky stakes haven't started yet.  The block explorer shows that the C-CEX address is slowly draining as people withdraw to stake.

whats the current block? POW has a while to go doesnt it?

1286, so just over 26 hours of POW remaining

All the people invested in this coin and they can't fund a block explorer! tight bastards!

Funny huh?  Cheesy

Just go with cryptobe for starters. cheapest one I believe. I only hold around 1k. So no way I am paying the explorer for this 'previous' scam coin

In the meantime, there's an open source block explorer on github; https://github.com/iquidus/explorer

 I don't have anywhere to host it publicly but...

<>

and...

<>

As you can see, the coin supply is as expected.

thats awesome.. now whos going to host it? lol

I'm 85% of the way to having a vm setup for ABE (I know... ) Let me look at this one... it looks cool.... how hard was it to setup?

Really easy to set up, took me a couple of hours on a new VM.  I've used it a few times for other coins.  Once installed just a few config changes to point it at the right coin daemon and some startup scripts and you're done.

I'm at the settings.json ... can you point me to the changes needed

hey placebo, can you add the original graphics to the beginining of the thread?

sure...

All I changed to get it up and running were;

Code:
  // name your instance!
  "title": "BTX Block Explorer",

  "address": "127.0.0.1:3001",

  // coin name
  "coin": "BitcoinTX",

  // coin symbol
  "symbol": "BTX",

  // wallet settings
  "wallet": {
    "host": "localhost",
    "port": yourrpcport,
    "user": "yourrpcuser",
    "pass": "yourrpcpassword"
  },

this will need changing to POS soon;

Code:
  // index page (valid options for difficulty are POW or POS)
  "index": {
    "show_hashrate": true,
    "difficulty": "POW",
    "last_txs": 100
  }

and i swapped out the original logo.png image

lol. people have been screaming out for a block explorer and when they get a glimpse of one which proves everything is above board there's a big dump. go figure

when xco = 829 satoshi so i can sell?

You mean you want to know when the price reaches your target?  If you're on twitter go here and you can set up an alert to tell you...

http://alertco.in/

Or alternatively set up a conditional sell order to sell when the sell price reaches your target.  Or just put your buy order on... you've shown everybody your hand anyway, the only thing we don't know is how much you are planning to sell at that amount.

There's still a lot of price suppressing sell orders on XCO and it seems to have hit a floor with nobody selling and so no volume.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCO] Xcoin | PoS | No Premine & No IPO on: April 22, 2015, 09:56:23 PM
So XCO is safe from being delisted on Bittrex then, at least for another week.  Nice.  Smiley

Not sure how much it had to do with yesterday but this is the first time I've seen an XCO millionaire on the Rich List!
Told you a few post before.Watch out because x coin have huge project behind the scene and will going in light speed  and will left many in dust with pants down.You didn't believe.Now I reapet.
"TO ALL  X COIN HOLDERS  BE ALERT X COIN WILL FLY ABOVE 0.005 "   965%,1500%,5000%.   Sincerely    W.B

Hmmm, not so sure actually.  Be careful, it could just be somebody buying their own sells to make it look like it's going to rocket and offloading when buyers react. Besides the huge spike yesterday there's little else happening and no announcements that indicate a bright future.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCO] Xcoin | PoS | No Premine & No IPO on: April 21, 2015, 09:25:26 PM
Is the dev still around? I mined this during pow and sold a day before pos, just curious if it's a dead coin? For some reason pos seems to kill coins.

The dev is the ultracoin guy, go back a few pages and you'll find the IRC just go into there.

It's the UNB unbreakable coin Dev.
What about staking??Is stake work or not???As I can see at rich list ,probably nobody doing stake of this coin .Wonder if Bittrex will kick off x coin from they exchange at April 24.Hm...I'm surprised .At the start x coin was looking very solid and good coin to have for future.I think that first developer was
just poor liar and create this coin only for screw up few guys and run with a few bucks to rat hole.

Everyone is actually staking. Take a good look at the charts on the blocktree site. Look at adresses, transactions, and difficulty. Calm yourself. Sell if you want. I will buy. http://www.blocktree.io/charts/XCO
Wonder why holders  from top wallets  1,2,3 not selling. Left four days and  x coin can be out from Bittrex Exchange.Something must be boil.BTW.I'm not staking because I've try stake  but got only few coins  and my  coins was at stake almost four days until return to my balance.It's not normal that  coins taken to stake not coming back to balance for four days.Well,looks like new dev.don't have to much to say and he have zero idea what next.Damn ..this coin was looks like promised lan ,but turn to just another garbage so far.Let's wait and see what's going on.If x coin will get out of Bittrex I'll flush it to the toilet.

strange situation

One or more of those top 3 addresses are probably exchange addresses, exchanges shouldn't be staking.  There are also sell orders (bots?) pushing the prices down, all the way down from 120+ visible at Bittrex there are sell orders for repeated amounts.  It's been like that pretty much since the POS phase started.  There was a fair bit of hashrate on this in the final stages of POW, maybe somebody is looking to pump it in the future?...

Thank you.Yeah those top should be exchanges.I have to watch them closer if they'll rise ,will be sigh that  something will change for movement
WOW!!! WOW!!!!! WOW!!!! 500% up MUST BE SOMETHING HUGE COMING WOW!!!!!!!
I can't believe.Why this coin went 965% in less then half an hour??? It's probably only dream or Warren Buffett visit  X Coin Grin

I blinked and missed it whilst working, still staking.

Today's buy up saw 700k XCO change hands on Bittrex, only 200k of that got sold back down and there are still suppressing sell orders on Bittrex, a lot of them.  It seems like somebody still has plans for XCO.
