Seriously guys I have been defending sonm as I have bought cheap on these dumps but I can see why ico investors are very frustrated you guys got a shitload of money 40m+ and the developing is on point but a business takes 2. You got to market properly I like that we are in voting contest to get on binance but SONM team has a shitload of cash and should just pay the fee to get listed on binance wtf would you else do with 40m + that's like enough cash to pay for everything for atleast 6-7 years lol

I also bought on the dump but I realized that this might be one I have to sit on for a while.  I think I made the right choice ad wish I had of bought more. Smiley

I am liking the look of this.  Good idea and best of luck I will be keeping an eye on this one.

I must admit that I've had my share of skepticism for this project at the beginning when all the fud started.  However the team handled it 100% the right way.  They didn't debate and go back and forth and instead just kept moving ahead.  They never missed an update or a deadline.  Look at all the projects in Crypto that are constantly sidelined, delayed, or have devs that go ghost.  Qtum has hit every target so far on their timeline and are even releasing their mainnet ahead of schedule.  To be ahead of schedule in this space, is very very very RARE.  They've constantly provided updates at every turn and have in the end churned out a very promising project and potential real competitor to Ethereum.  I heard that there are 17 projects releasing on qtum, no project but ETH can boast these numbers.  Congrats to the team.

Do you know what the 17 projects are?

1$ to withdraw an alt is outrages... but that because it's on the btc blockchain I think.

That is excessive on an altcoin but not to bad considering how much other markets pay
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: August 31, 2017, 03:33:18 AM
With so many projects though, we can make more money using it rather than letting it sit on a project.

I've had a few instances of pulling of a project just at the wrong time Sad  but I get what you mean.
I myself like to keep some long term investments as well as track the more rapid movers.

Why triangle dev no activity from june 2016? Shocked

TRI is working fine. No need to do anything for me.

Well this is a big surprise to see you post in here lol its been a long time since we have seen you dev! True there isn't anything you need to do as Triangles is working fine however do you have any plans to make Triangles useful for something? Right now its just a coin where people earn interest but has no real use so that is what I think people would want to see if Triangles can have a practical use in the world.
7

No plans. I am the guy who fixed TRI after it got abandoned by the original dev (see "History" in 1st post) - nothing more, nothing less.  I don't have the spare time at hand (and the motivation) to do more than a general monitoring of the overall TRI network condition - which is perfectly fine as of now.

In case anyone else wants to step up and take matters in his or her hands (for example a new website), feel free to drop me a note.

Thanks for your honesty! If I knew how to create slick websites I would put my hand up as that is what we desperately need for Triangles and also a working block explorer. I hope someone from the community steps up to the plate as this is something that we truly need right now.

I might be able to do a block explorer as I have some free time coming up in a few weeks.  Are there any other things people think we should be heading towards?

24-hour volume is still very low at $50k or so. But there seems to be an uptrend, albeit "quietly", since more than a week ago. If the volume goes up to more than $100k, that will catch the attention of the more alert speculators. Especially when they see the rather promising technical readings on the charts. But this will be subject to no big seller coming in to dump SEQ of course.  https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/sequence

A nice upward trend

Hi guys,

I was checking around a little after Varvarin was pointing his finger here... probably I could be of some help.

Basically the codebase is 2014 which is not a big issue to get it pulled up to date in 2 steps. But what I do see are some critical hard coded issues which could be hard forked out:

- KGW: That thing is actually creating nothing but problems. It is k

That would be fantastic Smiley :)illing performance and opening the door for hoppers.
- re-target time: adding some more issues to the problem above. Miners can just collect coins until the next re-target, jump out and wait for the diff to go back down

Thing is, even if those 2 issues can be forked out, one major problem can't: The KGW part needs to stay and validate blocks during IBD. Due to the extensive calculations and well known C++ performance, blockchain downloads would remain incredibly slow...

There are some more minor issues which are creating additional work when it's ported to new standards, but that should be OK.

I've done one or two migrations from this codebase to latest standards (up to LTC 0.14.2), having mining infrastructure available and always willing to support if friends of my friends are in need ;-)

Hey I remember when this coin was like 33 cents. it's been a beautiful ride, I just found a old wallet from my cryptopia days.

I remember the launch very cryptic but I dont have to tell you because you know why!

This project looks amazing, i hope it works out well, just bought my fair share on liqui.io, is it safe to leave my tokens on the exchange?

You should only keep what you are actively trading on the exchanges
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: August 14, 2017, 09:26:55 PM
Filecoin seems to be a major threat to SIA project, the likes of Storj and Filecoin seems to be well capitalised than SIA and will have money to attract best talent to their platform unlike SIA that is under funded

FileCoin is definitely well funded even for the craziness that is the crypto world.  They have raked it in

of which the last is half green. 5 coins are shown regardless of post count when user is a Donator.
VIP:   Manually applied by administration after 50 BTC donation, and gets 5 gold coins under his name
of which the last is half purple. 5 coins are shown regardless of post count when user is a VIP.

Is this still valid? $38,000 dollars seems like an awful lot to donate to get a Donator tag and $190,000 dollars to get a VIP tag seems like maybe it's time to revamp those?

Thats why they are VIP cause they can splash that around  Grin

Is it ok to run a master node from your staking wallet or should they be kept separate?

It should work fine, I have some remote masternodes but the controlling wallet is staking without any trouble, don't see why local masternode should be different.

The only danger I know of is the collateral transaction getting split up by the staking so it's worth giving it a try.

I think I remember reading that you could stop specific blocks from staking so I might be able to use this to stop that happening.  I  will give it a go and report back.

Is it just DYN that is getting swaped and everything ok with SEQ?

So if I buy 50 coins, how many coins I will get monthly with staking?

I would say around 2 to 5 coins depending on the network weight. I earn a stake almost everyday with 43 coins and it's not a full coin but just a rough estimate I earn around 2 coins per month sometimes 3 so that is why I give this estimate for 50 coins.

This is roughly what I am getting also staking with just over 50

Would there be any down side to running the same wallet in 2 different locations? I ask because I have my main wallet staking at location and I have a back up copy on my laptop which I can start occasionally and let it catch up to see how the staking is doing.

I am not only holding. I am buying week by week. NOW I am holding 435k of Sonm and one day it will make me rich.I buy for all the money I made on other Coins. Thanks to the unpatient dumpers.

damn, i've also been steadily buying through all the fud but nowhere near that number, enough to make pretty decent money tho. good luck to us, win or lose i think this is a good play

I missed the ICO but managed to pick up a load cheap when it hit market.  I am thinking I might increase my stake.
