So I think that makes my offer is the best one posted here so far, speaking in terms of dollar value.  Is there a deadline on this auction?

Why is that considered idiocy? it takes a certain level of intellegence to set one up Tongue on another note more than 20 seconds would be blocked by the forum so i suggest setting them to 20.0000000001 seconds

It doesn't really even take that much intelligence to think of a way around the 20 second time between posts...

By inductive reasoning, the server should be going down any moment now.

I don't think that script will work when the server is crashed 30 seconds before the new year.

I think you mean 40 seconds before the new year.

Eh, I tailor all of my own suits; so at the absolute least, it wouldn't be ill-fitting.

That's pretty cool.  Got any pictures of your handiwork?

I have reconsidered and would like to offer $10 in McDonald's gift certificates.

Does it count if someone posts near the end of the year and immediately afterwards, the forum goes down for the rest of the year?
48  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS]BitCard Domain on: September 22, 2011, 04:04:28 PM
You could go register the same domain without the unnecessary prepending article "the" for cheaper than 1BTC.

This is a really good point.  I hereby withdraw my offer.  If anyone buys bitcardstore.com and is interested in selling it for McDonald's cards, please PM me.

Hmmm, that just gave me an idea for an exchange.

Make it walmart gift cards and you might have yourself a deal!

Please don't be glib.  This is a serious offer.

I am willing to bid $40 in McDonald's gift certificates.

I for one apologize for calling you a scammer when you were merely incompetent, rude, and refusing to acknowledge your mistakes.  Please don't file a restraining order against me.

I agree that bashing his girlfriend is pretty low.  I don't think the fact that he paid the buyer back makes him OK, though.  Not by a longshot.  He had to be repeatedly called out in order to do the right thing, he still doesn't see that the whole transaction going wrong was his own damned fault (sorry bud, but it's your own fault that you had such a lousy plan for fulfilling orders, not the fault of thebitcardstore), and now that he's finally paid the buyer back, he's acting like a pouty child over the fact that he's going to be "stuck" with a gift card himself.  Guess what, dipshit?  Selling gift cards was supposed to be your business!  Sell the goddamn thing to someone else and quit whining.  The fact that you don't have enough of a buffer to cover one single transaction means you were a failure from the start.  Jesus fucking christ, what kind of entrepreneur doesn't understand that you might need at least $10 on hand to run a retail business?

Also: I hope cablepair shows up at Walmart and introduces himself, just to find out whether he's going to jail immediately due to the restraining order you magically got in the middle of the night, or if you were lying about that too.

And why do you think so many AOL CDs ended up in garbage cans? Does it even occur to you that there might be a reason people were joking about AOL CDs being worthless?

Haha, ok, kid, let's hear your theory about why the CDs were worthless.  It's because computers weren't popular yet, right?

You'd be embarrassed of yourself right now if you had enough sense to know what you don't know.  Computers were wildly popular before CD-ROMs were even invented, you retard.

If Bruce is as horrible as you say he is, I'd much rather have him host a harmless interview show than actively trying to figure out how to scam us out of our Bitcoins.

An interview show that's constantly hyping dodgy shit like mybitcoin turns out to not be so harmless to a lot of people.  I agree with you that if all that happened was that he hosted a show and everyone who cared was well-informed about his shaky past, then nobody would trust a word that he said and he'd be harmless.  But in order for everyone to know that, you have to stop pretending that he doesn't deserve the bad public image he's getting, or you're part of the problem.

lol i'm not

Trying to put the blame on someone else's "assumptions" when they're the result of deliberately misleading statements you made is an excuse, scammer.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammer Alert: logansryche on: September 21, 2011, 04:35:52 AM
... and you assumed wrong. You assumed I had bought a bunch of cards cheap, but you figured it out.

No, in your other thread, you flat-out claimed that you bought your gift cards in huge lots for cheap from a wholesaler. [link]  That's why when you revealed this wasn't true in the other "I quit" thread, you felt it necessary to say, "Yes I just admitted that I don't actually keep a stock of cards here." [link]

You got caught bullshittin.  Quit making excuses.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammer Alert: logansryche on: September 21, 2011, 03:53:39 AM
Love putting words in my mouth, dontcha? I said I had access to cards for cheap.
Hell, I had access to a full warehouse full of em, just not for godaddy and others.

No, actually, back in your thread where you cried about not being able to get anyone to buy your cards, you said this:

Quote from: logansryche
In fact, I know of a place off the top of my head that sells sport cards wholesale in huge lots for cheap.
Could I go that route? sure. Have I? Yeah, I have. Where do you think I got all the gift cards from.

Are we supposed to believe that somehow you buy the cards "in huge lots" only after people purchase them from you?  It sounds to me like you were bullshitting about your big business to give yourself an air of legitimacy, and you got caught claiming you buy your cards wholesale in big lots when what you actually do is wait until someone pays you and then turn around and buy the card at retail from someone else.  Which, by the way, is an idiotic way to run a business, but I think with the help of this forum, you may have figured that out by now.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scammer Alert: logansryche on: September 21, 2011, 03:44:18 AM
Pardon me, never said I had one. I said I could get one. Yeesh.
So you were lying when you said you got all those gift cards by buying them wholesale in huge lots for cheap?
