41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 08, 2020, 10:19:24 PM
Of course 2017 was the best year for cryptocurrency, when 2017 was very easy to generate 10x-100x profit. And I am sure the events
that happened in 2017 will definitely repeat themselves, many predict that this year will be repeated like 2017. But the fact is that there is
no significant increase in the market this year. Based on my predictions that 2021 will be the Golden Year of Crypto, because usually one
year after the halving there will be a quite high price increase in the crypto market. As happened before, in 2016 there was a bitcoin halving
and in 2017 the crypto market experienced a very high increase.
Your prediction will be wrong because, in 2021, investors will not take risks by entering the crypto market if there are no critical events that occur in this world. 2017 will not be repeated because, in that year, all investors are still curious and trying crypto commodities.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Chairman threatens to leave US over crypto regulation on: October 07, 2020, 07:48:01 PM
My god, I really hope they do leave, while we are at it could we make them leave every single nation?
Ripple is not something people needs and they should be gone by now, the only logical reason why they are still not gone is the fact that they do marketing very well and when you are third ranked coin it is hard to convince people that you are not who you say you are so they do not believe others and believe you which is why they are still high.

If there was any sort of petition take Ripple out of my own country, I would sign it in a single second, I have actually talked with exchanges here to remove them as well but they didn't listen. If Ripple ends up leaving USA because of the crypto regulations, I will work hard to get those same regulations here as well to get rid of them.
All coins, including bitcoin, are currently not needed, but that doesn't mean they have to be removed. Like ripple and other coins, we don't use the coins we have as we should, but we keep them for money reasons, not for function reasons.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: October 07, 2020, 03:16:26 PM
There still plenty of good bounties nowadays and with pretty decent amount profits. But the profits you would be getting will depends on the campaign you are going to partake in, the more skilled you are thwle more rewards you get specially now that some defi projects are conducting bounties. Might be a good source of income in the bounty campaigns.
Can you clarify what the skills mean? Skills to select a project or skills to post? To take part in a bounty paying campaign, you must choose a project that limits participation, and you must also be lucky to be the first registrar.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: October 07, 2020, 01:30:54 PM
Honestly, in my opinion, bitcoin is the most stable coin in cryptocurrency.
In what way is it stable? Today the price of bitcoin is 10k USD, and tomorrow it could be 5k USD. Do you consider that price change is stable? You seem to have to do more basic math in elementary school.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: October 07, 2020, 11:00:45 AM
I don't care about them lying or not being transparent. The fact is all of you are still using usdt, so I will also use it, as long as there are no problems and the fee remains affordable.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - The Scam Engine? on: October 07, 2020, 10:32:23 AM
idk what they are thinking when they heard the word hype , it could be that they think its safe ? because hype means popularity , it became popular because not just few people are investing . if they think of that way , these people dont know what risks are .

i dont believe that many people have earned more than the people that have loss but actually there are more lossers on here because those fraudsters are not kind to giveaway free money . this aint a charity on here
Hype doesn't make sure you won't lose, but following the hype, your chances of getting money are more significant than the absence of hype.
Note that you have to keep up with the new hype, not the old one.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNI Token Eligible Wallet To claim free Uni token! on: October 06, 2020, 11:19:12 PM
I was thinking if It is possible to recover the file from an android device that I have (old one that I used to store my wallet details since I no longer use it but I accidentally deleted the file when I made a back up and then lost the usb. I am trying to use a recovery app but it needs the phone to be rootes but I haven't been able to root the phone successfully. You guys tried it?. I asked in here since it's about uni token eligible wallet address.
Let us know if your phone has been rooted, then do a file restoration through your smartphone. If it is successful, then explain what extensions have been restored. The chance of success is tiny but not impossible. I'm sure the people in this forum will help you.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: October 06, 2020, 10:58:47 PM
It needs not to be unique in order to catch attention but they should have to show that they worthy of our investment.
An elegant company name and a logo that looks professional will make investors more interested than a project that has a bad name and logo. Indeed, investors always see a project's potential before they invest, but most projects that have potential certainly also have names and nice company logo.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: October 06, 2020, 10:10:07 PM
To determine which altcoin assets to hold or which assets to determine the term of profit, beginners must do technical and fundamental analysis so that they are sure to find this definite advantage, not just top altcoins, almost all assets must analyze before making a transaction
I thought that if someone had understood how to analyze a coin, they would no longer be a beginner.

The safest choice for beginners is, of course, Bitcoin and ethereum. No one will disagree with the two coin names above.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your HODL and favorite project on: October 05, 2020, 05:38:24 AM
Only coin to HODL is the coin you are actively helping to create an ecosystem for, If it cant pull you in, then it is just another flop project.
A wrong statement, how can I contribute by using the product made by the project I invested in when the project has not made any products? Don't close yourself off to small opportunities.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 05, 2020, 04:47:46 AM
Uniswap does seem to be leading the Defi market. Their daily volume reached US $ 359,629,362 compared to Aave's second exchange's daily volume of US $ 48,657,348, a figure that is quite far away.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW CAN ONE KNOW A FAKE AIRDROP? on: October 05, 2020, 04:35:09 AM
It's easy to distinguish real airdrops from those that don't. You need to see the track record of projects that hold airdrops. If the project is already well-known and is not looking for money, then it is certain that the airdrop is a real airdrop compared to projects that have never entered an exchange.
53  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin talk could fix the spam in one move....REMOVE SIGNATURE...Right?? on: October 05, 2020, 04:03:33 AM

Can someone please tell me... how having 90% of the comments only being made to pad a signature count....a good thing for the forum.

Imagine how GREAT this forum would be if you couldn't get PAID to post!!!

Absolute trash of an idea to have sigs

Why would we want to keep it going?Huh

Remove the signature....PROBLEM SOLVED

am I wrong?
Do you think that this forum only needs to be filled by people with useful quality posts? Have you ever thought about beginners? They do not follow the signature campaign, but their posts' quality is also low compared to someone who is already a full member or a senior member.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: October 05, 2020, 03:22:38 AM
The projects have helped out kucoin a lot by re-issuing the tokens and rendering the stolen tokens useless. But it raises me a question is it fair to re-issue decentralized token for a hack ? Where does it leave decentralization.
You are questioning whether it is fair or not because your money is not involved in the hack, I'm sure if your money is hacked, it doesn't matter whether the coin is decentralized or not, you will force the developer team to freeze their contract address.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie's guide to avoid ICO Scam on: October 02, 2020, 06:42:54 PM
Now with the popularity of DeFi, much of the above is not relevant. Projects are created that do not disclose their team, their code is not audited, there is no access to github, and the most amazing thing is that such projects collect a huge amount of money and even allow investors to earn))
To my knowledge, Defi themed projects always keep their code open source. It's too stupid to invest in defi projects when their source code is closed.

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 27, 2020, 02:50:28 PM
In 2017 I got a lot of coins like stellar and ethereum, but I didn't think to keep them, so I sold them when they were cheap, it was the stupidest thing I ever did
The second stupidest thing I did was waste my bitcoins on a gambling site.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets on: August 26, 2020, 01:53:40 PM
If you have crypto currency assets, especially Ethereum and tokens from the platform,
I recommend using Myetherwallet, because only MEW in my opinion is very safe, I have proven that
No, website wallets are risky wallets because they are very susceptible to phishing, especially the myetherwallet, which is known for many phishing by hackers, use hardware wallets.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non DeFi projects starts going DeFi on: August 26, 2020, 12:24:43 PM
Exactly, because of a lot of hypes surrounding DeFi projects now, a lot of both non- DeFi projects are suddenly turning to one.  Numerous airdrops are now flying around now and 90% of them claimed to be DeFis.  We need to be more careful, fraudsters use any slight opportunity at their disposal.
We must avoid assessments like this. If you understand the crypto world, then I suggest you analyze their reasons for using defi. If the reasons they give are not clear and just making it up, then you can judge that the project only follows the hype to get money fast.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: August 26, 2020, 10:00:15 AM
Why the difference in position of Ripple on coinmarket (3rd position) and Coingecko (4th position)? The difference in marketcap is significant ($2 billion) and I dont know how both platform came across the figures.
Coinmarketcap does not verify data, do you still remember the p2pb2b exchange incident? They enter the exchange with the most volume according to coinmarketcap, but we all know that p2pb2b uses bots to get high daily exchange volume, coingecko is better than coinmarketcap.
