What are you talking about? Look at the date of the published post - 8:37pm On Jun 14. June 14 was two days ago, what five months are you talking about?

JeyddaS posted his post later (8:37 pm, jun 14) aima55 (June 14, 2024, 07:19:03 PM). They published their posts on the same day (June 14), one hour and a bit apart.

What's not to understand?

My mistake! I will delete my replay now. Thank you, the date of my laptop was wrong. LOL Smiley

Pay attention to the dates of the posts. The post on our forum was posted earlier than on the site you are referring to. So your link is not a confirmation that aima55 plagiarized the text posted on our forum. To prove that it is plagiarism you will have to find another confirmation.

This post was published 5 months ago at 8:37pm On Jun 14 by JeyddaS on nairaland. But aima55 published this post on June 14, 2024. If I'm wrong, please show me the dates mate.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about TON? on: June 16, 2024, 05:50:32 AM
I suggest diversifying your investment portfolio instead of focusing on a single coin. I believe that Ton will not perform well due to its lack of popularity and the flawed Ton blockchain compared to others.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are cold wallets safer than online exchanges? on: June 15, 2024, 06:35:54 AM
I believe that individuals who prioritize the secure storage of their digital currencies often opt for cold wallets. However, in the case of traders, it is common practice to allocate approximately one-third of their assets to a reputable exchange, while keeping the remainder in a cold wallet for added security.

You haven't provided any information about the website or the payment amount. Also according to European rules, no one sells their KYC. Additionally, most websites have highly accurate IP detection systems. For instance, if you are using an Asian IP address but your KYC is for Europe, there is a possibility that your account will be closed.

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 11, 2024, 07:05:38 AM

I think it's the best decision you've made, of course it's really attractive that you've created a payment system with Bitcoin. This may be the first person in the PDR repair shop that you have created a bitcoin payment system, in my opinion. Of course, I think that if the customers like it, they will pay you with bitcoins in this new system, and I think that the bitcoins that you will get from here, it will definitely be a good high profit from here. Moreover, we know that nowadays banks or various payment systems require a lot of fees, which makes people reluctant to pay in them. But it is possible to make payment in Bitcoin very easily and at low cost, which will attract people here and people will pay in Bitcoin in a new way. Of course now with the digital world digital currencies are becoming more popular and because of your initiative many people will be introduced to this bitcoin, surely this is a happy moment for you.

Yes, I'm the first person at the PDR repair shop who accepts Bitcoin for payment. This can also serve as an advertisement for my business. This new payment method will distinguish my store from others and attract new customers. It's a win-win situation for me  Cheesy
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 11, 2024, 06:59:16 AM

This is a nice introduction but I don't think I can ever make payments for goods or services to anyone with bitcoins. I am at that stage where I am struggling to accumulate bitcoins so I can get huge returns. In the case of huge transactions fees from traditional banks, bitcoin transactions fees are not lesser either. It is better I pay huge transactions fees with the traditional banks than lose coins I should be investing instead  to get returns. bitcoin is meant to be a means of payment originally but right now, I have seen an opportunity with bitcoins I don't want to lose. Maybe when I accumulate enough bitcoins, I'll start making payments with them.

I think like you, and at the moment, I wouldn't want to use my bitcoins for daily expenses. I think a lot of people feel this way too. As I mentioned earlier, these posters are mostly for promotion, and my goal is to encourage more people to join the world of Bitcoin and digital currencies.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 09, 2024, 05:54:27 PM
If I had a lot of bitcoins, I think it would be fine, but I only have a few bitcoins at the moment, so it's not practical in these times in my situation because we are currently in a bull run and also facing OP. Maybe that's okay if we're in a bear market.

But if you have a lot of customers who want to try to pay with Bitcoin, that's in your favor because right now we can say that the price value of bitcoin has dropped a little bit. Don't always sell it; instead, hold it long-term.

I have many customers throughout the day, but most of them prefer traditional banking payment methods. (This is likely due to the fact that the average age of my customers is above 45.) However, I want to share every transaction my customers pay with Bitcoin here and hold it.

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 09, 2024, 05:49:37 PM
If we are talking about high fee for transaction then but has one of the highest fee because I don't think the bank would be allowed to remove high fee that could be more than $5 from just transaction. Since you have choose to run it with the option of Bitcoin transaction for anyone that is ready to pay for your services through Bitcoin, that's a good move and it makes sense towards the adoption of Bitcoin. This could make more people see a good reason why they ought to invest in cryptocurrency. There are people that are still skeptical about Bitcoin investment and it's not bad when they see service like yours being confidence to invest in Bitcoin

Yes, I have made these posters to capture the attention of my customers, and don't want to coerce anyone into paying with Bitcoin. However, today I felt disheartened. One of my clients inquired about Bitcoin, and while I was explaining it, he asked, "Is this the hamster coin?" Despite Bitcoin being the father of all digital currencies, our community seems to be more acquainted with Hamstercoin.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 07, 2024, 03:19:49 PM
That is something to be appreciated, good job! with what you do, it will make your customers curious about what Bitcoin is and that will indirectly introduce Bitcoin to them. But just a question, what are the Bitcoin regulations in your country, is it allowed to pay using Bitcoin? because in my country, people are only allowed to trade Bitcoin, but when it comes to payment they have to pay with fiat and cannot replace it with Bitcoin. You need to understand this, because even though it is a good thing to campaign for Bitcoin in your business, you also need to think about using it in your business, don't let it become a problem for you later.

In my country, even some stores accept Bitcoin, and I don't think there is a legal problem. I hope that the government will not create a new law for this in the future. If there is any issue, I will be completely satisfied because until today, I have invited about 80 people to join our big family, and I am completely happy. Thank you for your kind words Wink.

55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 07, 2024, 03:13:00 PM
nice Smiley

One small remark tough: it does seem like you're using an old wallet, since you posted a legacy address. Maybe it's a good idea to generate segwit (or even taproot) addresses and save some fees when you want to spend your funds? A new wallet generated with most reputable sofware (and hardware) wallets is usually at least generating segwit addresses

That's great that you mentioned using segwit addresses. I also plan to accept other altcoins to give my customers more options. I will update this poster soon and add a segwit address and doge or tron address too.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Can you pay for car repairs with Bitcoin? Why not :) on: June 05, 2024, 07:14:15 AM
After realizing the high bank fees at my PDR repair shop, I decided to add Bitcoin payment as an option. I noticed that my customers were interested in paying with Bitcoin after I put up posters in my shop. Although no transactions have been made yet, many customers ask me about the posters and how to pay with Bitcoin. I'm happy to introduce them to the world of digital currencies. In the past,I've shared my knowledge of Bitcoin with my friends, and I'm delighted to have the opportunity to do the same in my PDR shop  Cheesy

57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any meme coin challenge bitcoin in future ? on: June 01, 2024, 05:13:48 AM
It is highly unlikely that meme coins will become more popular than Bitcoin, given the tough competition in the world of crypto and digital currencies. Bitcoin has achieved widespread fame and has a limited supply, and high volume of transactions daily. Therefore, it is safe to say that Bitcoin will continue to reign at the top of the digital currency hierarchy.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet is better for lightning network on: May 31, 2024, 06:39:06 AM
I highly recommend the Electrum wallet. As other forum users have suggested, this wallet is easy to install on most systems. It is open source, making it one of the safest options for storing your assets. While there are many wallets available, my top choice, especially for PC users, is the Electrum wallet.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Never Been A Scam. on: May 31, 2024, 06:30:12 AM
If you had asked me this question 5 years ago, I would have said that all governments would accept Bitcoin and Blockchain. However, now I have noticed that most of the corrupt governments of the world are adamantly against blockchain. Why? Because they are corrupt and against transparency. They can easily steal using their old system, and none of us can see this corruption.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exposure to bitcoin at young age on: May 30, 2024, 01:00:23 PM
I believe it's really important for kids to start learning about Bitcoin and investing at the age of 8+. When we teach our children about crypto from a young age, it sets them up for success in life, not just in the world of cryptocurrency. Since our kids' future will involve digital currencies, they must understand the world of digital currencies.
