41  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITDICE SCAM CANCELED WINNING BET on: June 22, 2019, 03:26:56 PM
and saying they did not steal because they would not make money off it is stupid they could have easly claimed a loss.

Even if the bet lost, your initial wager would have been returned as the bet was never accepted by the provider. BitDice could not have made any profit of the bet even if it lost.

The only issue was the delay in informing you the bet was not accepted. However, you would have seen an error message when placing the bet.

This should solve the issue and I hope next time someone raises doubts on Bitdice the community waits to hear their side, as always I’m not surprised at seeing another false accusations fired at them. @Kollah it was a really nice gesture on Bitdice part to give him a bonus, but you can’t make all people happy. I have a suggestion since this issue of Rollback has happened with other users too, why not add it in the FAQ section so next time it happens the user understands it’s not Bitdice fault.

Yeah, an update was pushed to the code which should help solve this issue and make it more clear to the user in such cases.

43  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITDICE SCAM CANCELED WINNING BET on: June 22, 2019, 02:41:39 AM
What happened with this bet is that it was rejected by BitDice's Sports provider and 'Rolled Back'. This means the bet wasn't actually accepted by the provider and an error message would have been showed to the user when placing the bet. We had another user report a similar occurrence and they received an error message on the site when placing their bet and asked in Support regarding it. We didn't receive any such contacts regarding this particular bet. The bet was Rolled Back and after processing, the initial wager was returned to the user.

You can see in the following screenshot from the provider which shows the bet was Rolled Back:

The user's wager was returned to them and they were also provided a bonus for the inconvenience.

Additionally, you can see from this user's history, that they have a habit of accusing every site of scamming and have accused BitDice in the past when losing a bet.

New update was pushed out today with some bug fixes:
  • fixed bug on BJ for CSNO bets
  • fixed contact form to send messages to support
  • fixed bug for dicebot that caused an exception if a wallet was not created
  • fixed bug in Sports which was failing in some cases because of the wrong string conversion
  • fixed Sports handling for canceled bets

And it was documented after the wager contest that ALL bets were rolled back and all players got their balances reset. No player lost any money. I did as some players withdrew winnings during the contest.

It's weird that you consider that acceptable. It's almost like you don't understand how a casino works.  Huh Huh Huh

BTW Can you give a straight answer to why you rolled everything back and didn't pay out the wager prizes? Or simply because it was cheaper than paying out?

Just because no one lost money, doesn't mean they weren't scammed of their time and potential profits. Offering a fake contest just to drive traffic to the site isn't very honest either.

I should have had around 30-40 LTC profit if I recall correctly from participating in the contest which was reset away.

Hey guys, i was having fun with bitace game, and i thing an easy way to win there... let me explain, as we can see in the image:

Our hand is KQ
House hand 68
On table KJ7

So, what's the deal here? House hand need one card for color or two cards for straight, but we already have KK, so, for me, the chance of winning is 1/4 and that bet should pay x1.25 and not x1.467.

I know the maths are more complex while estimating the odds, but i feel it like the easy money game and already make some doges there.

I think your math is slightly off as your chance of winning is about 67%.

There are quite a bit of outs for the opponent's hand so your chance of winning is only about 67% . Any two combinations of 4,5 will win, any two combinations of 9,10 any 1 club (but not two), two 6s, two 8s, any combo of 6,8 for two pair will make the opponent win.

Not to mention, he's also a serial-liar. Like just today I saw  his post lying about pirating software. I know he's full of shit, because I'm the one who wrote most of that code and it's obviously being used (even before some obfuscation, it literally even had the same debug stuff I was personally using, rofl).

Knowing that, if you want to invest or play -- go ahead. But I do think it's important that people realize they are dealing with a liar and a scammer before they use the site.

Yep, he's also run fake contests that were never paid out as well. Definitely not trustworthy.

After you reinvest with the dilution credits, it seems that there is a display bug that shows that you have more dilution fee credits than you actually have.

Mine shows up correctly:

After a refresh they show correctly I've been told. Immediately after mine showed up incorrectly though.

Yeah, the 20BTC promotion was not paid out due to cheating that never occurred. He obviously just didn't make enough profits so didn't pay it out and choose to refund people's losses as it was the cheaper option.

I haven't seen cases of outright scamming, but I certainly wouldn't believe any promotions or other promises BetKing makes.

Hey Box...  Any updates on Bitdice's plans on setting up a sports betting site yet?  The space can't have enough imo.  Espescially for lines shoppers.  Wink

It is in testing and getting closer. The site already has some placeholder stuff for Sports so should be pretty soon.

That's really a big win, this is not achievable Everytime. Also one needs to be lucky enough to get back such a winning, also the courage to place such a bet is really appreciable. Bitdice provides with the increased probability of winning and also has provided with big wins of more than 300btc which I've never seen on any other casinos.

Nice to see kolloh rolling dice at BitDice, I definitely recognize him from other places, regular big player, so no doubt about his ability to splash some waves there! He's not the only one though, stick around long enough and you'll see lots and lots of whales over the months. Wait til BTC hits big price too!

And thanks for the great update about DiceBot! Compatibility with BD should bring much more players to the site.

Those weren't actually my rolls, just some nice wins that happened recently by a hidden user.
