If you are not in the list but registered, PM me a quote/link to your registration post.

What the? What happened to me in the second round? I've kept your ads up the entire first and second periods and I've never received one payout yet from this campaign. Please send my payment. I'm also part of the third group as well as I'm keeping the ads up until I'm able to join a more profitable campaign.

My posts are at 195 for the start of the 3rd payout cycle.
42  Other / Meta / Re: Someone BUYING older accounts here for mass propaganda.... on: September 20, 2014, 09:47:55 PM
I'll sell my account for 10 BTC. PM me if you're interested. I'll just create a new account if someone actually buys this one and then I'll sell the next one. I'd like to know what propaganda they're pushing first, though. If it's just going to be used for pointless stuff that helps them and doesn't hurt the community, I'm cool with that.

Porn break = Porn stars break dancing. Now that's something I'd pay to watch! That would be fun.

Check out "Fringe" if you have Netflix. That's a great series. I watched every episode that was created and I usually don't do that.

I'd go back to meet Tesla. I think I might have been Tesla in a past life and I wrote a story on that.

Well I was looking for a picture of my favorite cheese, but I can't remember what it's called. It's the stuff that the Mexican restaurants use. I found this cheese though. It seems like I'll get a lot of FUD for this. Wink

50  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of sport do you prefer? on: September 16, 2014, 05:12:38 PM
I prefer bodybuilding. I just got into it, so I'm not massive yet, but given time, I could gain some serious muscle power. Nothing like going for a jog when packing massive amounts of muscle while the women stare at you, eh?
51  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you do if you received 20 bitcoins? on: September 16, 2014, 05:11:18 PM
If I had 20 Bitcoin, I'd hold it until they were worth much more. The more you hold now, the better off you'll be in the long run.
52  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I update to windows 8/9? on: September 16, 2014, 05:10:18 PM
8.1 is the latest and it's my favorite. Some people don't like the beauty of the new start menu as they refuse to get used to how to use it. It looks a lot better now than it did with the original Start menus.

54  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best antivirus? on: September 16, 2014, 04:55:21 PM
The best antivirus is not having one at all and knowing how you get infected in the first place. If you don't know what you're downloading and running, don't download it and run it. The only real thing you can't protect against is if someone does a MitM attack or something similar and changes your data stream to download something they're pushing to your system instead of what you tried to download. If you do an ARP spoofing attack, you could poison the routing tables to go phishing. LANs are unsafe, so never hook into someone else's LAN, especially not internet cafes for this reason. Another reason not to hook into an open LAN is because someone might use WireShark to spy on all of your traffic and grab your passwords if you aren't using HTTPS, Tor, or the like. Someone could also create a honeypot open WiFi hotspot in your neighborhood. This could potentially make things even worse if they know who you are and they're after your identity or some such.

If you aren't skilled in the ways of the interwebs defenses, I recommend Comodo Antivirus. It has everything you could ever want in an antivirus and it's completely free. It even comes with a HIPS. (Host-Based Intrusion Prevention System) I don't know of any other antivirus that has this much power. The only drawback is that it isn't open source. Try ClamAV and possibly Snort if you're looking for something open source.
55  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paypal is smart! on: September 16, 2014, 04:45:30 PM
PayPal will pervert Bitcoin just like they perverted fiat. I still can't understand why people think this is a good thing. I guess if you look at it from an acceptance perspective it is, but do you really want to transact your Bitcoin with... that?
56  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who's your superhero? on: September 16, 2014, 04:43:21 PM
Einstein was my superhero. I love inventing and I had always dreamed of building robots of various types. I did work on a team to build a robot once, but that's about as far as I got. Before you remark, no Einstein wasn't a roboticist, I'm not dumb. He was my inspiration for who I wanted to be. With robots I could have a full body robotic suit which I called a "ride around robot" and do all kinds of cool stuff. It was a realistic approach to being a superhero.
57  Other / Off-topic / Re: City or Rural on: September 16, 2014, 04:38:03 PM
They both provide different opportunities.

Rural

Pros:
Fresh air
Lots of space to move around in
A relaxing atmousphere

Cons:
Solitude is only nice until it starts to drive you mad.
The fact that there's so much space means that there are less people to chum around with.

City

Pros:
Lots of people and various cultural opportunities

Cons:
Not much space to move around in
Smog ridden
Fights break out from the vast differences in all of the types of people there
Gangs might be an issue
The city doesn't look that pleasant to some people

Then there's the third option.

Suburbs

Best of both worlds without the cons of either of them.

My choice would have to be the suburbs.

59  Other / Off-topic / Re: What generally characterizes an atheist? on: September 16, 2014, 04:31:11 PM
Well, today I learned that by definition, I'm an atheist. I originally thought that atheism meant that you didn't believe in anything other than what you can prove through science, but apparently it just beans that you don't believe in deities. I'm a scientist primarily, but if I know something in my heart and have seen personal evidence that I cannot prove, I classify those views as spiritual views.

I know through personal evidence that the cosmos does speak, (not verbally, of course) and you only need to know how to listen. For instance, the other day I was debating what happens when you realize karma for what it is. Does the karma become invalid if you're happily going through it so that no longer have that karmic consequence to deal with even though negative karma is not supposed to be enjoyable? I had to deal with perceived karma that would overdraw my bank account. My ATM pin wasn't working, the bank was closed, and everything was blocking me from making a deposit. Usually when something isn't working no matter how hard you try, it's a sign that it's not meant to happen. I realized that that was probably karma from something that I did. (I know what it was that caused the karma.) I called my dad and he suggested making a night drop deposit. I needed an envelope to do it, so I stopped into the store behind me and got a gift card envelope to deposit the funds and I used a blank check as the deposit slip.

So, I debated that if I didn't make the deposit, then the karma would be purged. If I made the deposit, would it still complete the karmic consequences or would it mean that I'd have to revisit those consequences another day? Well, while I was thinking about it, two people walked past talking about investment banking and I took it as a sign that I was meant to make the deposit. I went and made that deposit and the next day I found out that the bank gives me a $5.00 cushion before they start charging me fees up the wazoo, so being over by a few pennies wouldn't have hurt me. My guess is that sometime that knowledge will come in useful, so I needed it as a dependency for some future project rather than as a lesson to be leaned in karmic consequences.
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: Write a letter to your 15 year old self in 10 words or less on: September 16, 2014, 04:14:58 PM
Buy the best AMD graphics card and mine Bitcoin like crazy in 2009 and hold until at least $1,100.

I know it has to be less than 10 words, but that sentence could be distilled into something shorter. What people don't realize though, is that when you miss an opportunity, you just weren't cosmically ready for it to occur yet. When you are ready for something that big, you'll get there. Learn the cosmic lessons and you'll get to where your heart desires most.
