42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life? on: August 29, 2023, 11:38:43 PM
Please do not assume I am asking if "you got really rich from BTC". For example, has Bitcoin/Crypto changed the way you shop, or earn weekly income? Has BTC helped you feel more optimistic and excited about the future? etc. I am getting started late compared to many others, but I see many great days ahead. Thanks for being here at the forum!

Has Bitcoin Helped Create Big Changes In Your Life?
I will say yes BTC have changed my life. yesterday I was no body but today I can tell you for free that, BTC have changed my mentality, it has changed my financial straight.
43  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is politics really necessary? on: August 29, 2023, 11:24:56 PM
Politics has become a business in some number of countries i know. Where people from younger to older age are all affected. They are doing politics to gain their power. In all these countries murders, fights, thefts, robberies have increased because they are doing these bad activities using political power.

Disadvantages of politics:
1. The number of your enemies will increase
2. It will be a waste of money.
3. Your time will be wasted.
4. You may have the possibility of death.

3 time wasted. politics is a business, whatever you are doing and gaining from it , I don't think is a wast of time.

1 your enemies will increase.. there is no human being without an enemy,. i agree with you,  it increases enemies but when you are also doing well in politics it also increase the love of people to you.

2 wast of money. money loss in politics can easily be recovered, when you spend money to win election, you will surely recover all the money you spend. and when you loss The election, sometimes there is compasation. either by cash or one government position.
44  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is greeting important in your culture? on: August 28, 2023, 05:29:32 AM
talking your wife to be with your parents, in my area they do it very well. this will enable your parents mostly your mother to watch her closely to ensure if she can be a good wife to her son. all this we're cultures we grow up to meet. but now, civilization have make it not to be active anymore.
but this days we now meet city girls and marry them, without showing them to our parents to watch first. and this is contributing to the high rate of divorce in our societys today, compares then.
45  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is greeting important in your culture? on: August 28, 2023, 05:15:09 AM
greeting is very important in my area. in my area if you don't greet in the morning our elders see you as disrespect child and they will believe, you are not properly raised. those days community join hand to rise a child not only the child parents. in those days when you pass your elder without greetings him or her, the elder will correct you either by shutting or flogg you. so greeting in my area is very very important.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your reasons for adopting cryptocurrency? on: August 28, 2023, 04:53:58 AM
almost everybody here have one objective why there are using Bitcoin, which is to make more money. but personally me I'm here for more then two or three reasons

1:  I'm here to invest and make more money.
2:  I'm here because, I what to have peace of mind. I don't want inflation
3: I'm here because, I want to be using Bitcoin as a means of payment. to avoid bank charges
4 : I'm also here to lean more about Bitcoin and invest and know how to trade very well.
but most important, I'm here to make extra money.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / presuring someone into Bitcoin investment on: August 27, 2023, 05:45:53 AM
I can remember some years ago, I talked to my mother about Bitcoin and investing on it. that was two years ago. she should use any amount she could use as a trial, but she rejected the idea of investing on Bitcoin. she thought I'was going to defraud her.because she never hard about Bitcoin investment before. because of that, she was afraid and rejected the idea because of the pressure I was giving to her to invest on Bitcoin. before then, I have told her the benefits of investing on Bitcoin, but she rejected everything. afterwards I never bring up the discussion again to her.

some months ago my mother called me that she now have interest on investing on Bitcoin with some amount of money, I ask her what happened!  I thought she rejected the idea when I introduce it to her some years ago, and it have been long we talked about it. she said to me, I have make some research and ask questions about Bitcoin after all my mother invested huge amount of money $5k on Bitcoin which she's benefiting from it today.

there was a lesson I lean from here. when you are preaching to someone about Bitcoin, you shouldn't talk too much, and you shouldn't stay long and you should also allow them make some research and ask questions about what we are preaching to them, to avoid loss at the end.

I don't know, how you see it.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth it to teach older people about bitcoin technology? on: August 27, 2023, 04:35:16 AM
I think is yes for me. if it's old people who are interested to know and invest as well. but if it's old once who can not do anything about teaching them, I think it's no. because you are passing a knowledge that can not yield any fruit.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can everyone in the world have bitcoin. on: August 27, 2023, 04:27:25 AM
the answer is no, remember BTC is a digital currency. there are many people in some rural areas that have not hard about it before. what of some old men and women that can not handle phone talks of to trade BTC. BTC is 21 million, why the world population is far more than 21million.  so everyone cannot have BTC.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / invest what you can loss. on: August 27, 2023, 04:06:58 AM

Always invest only what you can loss l have said this on this platform a million times. when people cry to me about loses in BTC and other crypto's, I remind them that wailer are usually people who invested more than they can lose. his principle is the key to life.
whether you are investing in BTC ,or other crypto's,  only invest what you can afford to lose.

What do you think about it

52  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beware of scammers. on: August 25, 2023, 08:17:32 PM
scammers have developed so many ways of carryout there missions. which most of them are

1 when they inbox you, they will call you to resend the message to them. if you does , you have given them access to carry on there mission.

2 do not allow them to have access to your phone or laptop. and never keep any important password on your phone.

people should know how to avoid them , don't keep any important bank details on your phone. civilization and technology have killed us.
53  Other / Off-topic / Beware of scammers. on: August 24, 2023, 10:10:21 PM
A scammer called one of my friend with one number claiming to be me and possibly mimicked my voice using A1 or whatever. He claimed that his phone was off because he slept in the hospital. for my friend I was the one talking. He told him that my mother was at hospital laying critically sick and  ask for financial support.

He told him  that he needed $2000 to make initial deposit to  enable the doctors commerce treatment. He was sounding very pitiable and helpless. my friend thought I was truly the one calling and had sympathy and pity and requested for account details but surprisingly the account details the scammer sent wasn't beering my name. my friend called me and it rang. He was surprised and asked if I had charged my phone. I told him my phone has been on. He ask about my mother , I told him my mother was good at home He ask me my location and I told him I was at work. He then told me what is happening. I quickly called him on WhatsApp video to show him it was a scam and that neither my mother nor myself was in the hospital.

scammers have deviced another means of scamming and defrauding people. thank God my friend didn't transfered money to the thief. we have been calling the number since then but switched off. A lot of things are happening.
please, if You received a distress text message or call from your friends or relatives asking for financial help , verify before you  send the money especially if the account details and phone number is not that of your relatives or friend in questions.

what can we do, to avoid being a victim.

54  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: August 24, 2023, 08:06:32 PM
I don't how you're going to avoid all of your taxes, but you'll get exposed soon and you won't like what's waiting for you.

Avoiding your taxes isn't the solution to battle inflation, you might save some money but you're still going to spend it on buying the things you need and wants and that's still consider as paying taxes. But to answer the your question, yes, you're a bad person if you're avoiding some of your taxes, whether it's every month or every year.

It's actually not that bad if you can evade it legally, I know it's not something that is frequently talked in the society today because it is our responsibility as a citizen to pay taxes but in line with the topic, you'll be surprised that most billionaires and other rich individuals are even getting away with it without having any problems because as I said, they have done it in a legal way. Well, not evading wholly because they are still paying a big sum annually (food, clothes, wants and other needs that are also taxed beforehand are not included) but not as big if they are not having some techniques to evade some of their taxes legally.

in the eyes of the law, avoiding taxes will make you a bad person, if it's in a organized country. but if it's in a country were government can not provide anything to the citizens, avoiding taxes can not make you a bad person. because government is not providing anything to you.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Instead of Gold? on: August 24, 2023, 02:27:23 PM
1  Bitcoin is decentralized
2 Bitcoin is not visible but gold is
3 I have also seen some materials made by gold, but for Bitcoin non
4 Bitcoin is easier to exchange online, but gold is not

decentralization of Bitcoin is what make it more valuable then gold. about the early exchange, you can exchange your Bitcoin without going to anybody. Bitcoin is much more better than gold. but we should also know that, investing in gold is different from Bitcoin. gold has to do with longtime investment.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN: Give people time! on: August 24, 2023, 02:07:51 PM
So, four days ago this very un
3. We should always tell people to go do their own research about bitcoin after giving them some preaching about it. Doing their own research from with what they  get online can strengthen their conviction about what they've have been told.

What do you think about this?
when you are preaching or telling people about Bitcoin, you should preach and tell them small about Bitcoin. allow them to go on research. self research and convention and understanding it true internet will be a good one.
57  Other / Politics & Society / Back to loss glory on: August 23, 2023, 08:59:04 PM
when we are growing up. we use to have men that always seat in front of their house in the evening either reading newspaper or listening to news with their small transistor radio. there was no small child they can not discipline. some will see you with a ball and started asking about your academic performance.

if they seize your ball, just go home because play have finish that particular day. and if they flog you, you dare not let your parents know. because it means that you have done bad thing, and your parents fit give you additional flogging.

then, it took a community to raise a child. but now everyone is minding his or her business by building houses with fence. this men were either retired teachers or railway personnel's. we need a return of those days, it was more peaceful and sweet. and then, there was no muche crime then to compare now and  the whole community was living like a family.
Can we go back to those days, and how possible is it ?

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / what next do i need to start Bitcoin mining on: August 22, 2023, 08:30:47 AM
I know many things are involve in starting mining of Bitcoin. I have rise $5000 because I have made up my mind to start this business.i have also made some inquiries to buy 2nd hand s9 units. because 2eus BTC is selling used unite. I have also thought about other expenses like Electricity cost in my area and also the maintenance cost in cause things went wrong on the process of mining.

I have also decided to buy some fairly used equipments to save cost, so that  can start Bitcoin mining. I know by God grace, I will be lucky to get a fairly used equipment that will not give me problem in short period of time after buying them.

Apart from the Asic device, taking care of electricity and the small capital at hand and fairly used equipments I bought, what next do I need to have before going into mining of Bitcoin ?
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: Working over 20 years still poor on: August 20, 2023, 06:11:11 AM
I think the cause is lack of savings. without savings man can do nothing. if you are that can of person that doesn't save, you will work in particular place for 100years without nothing to show fort .
