41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of new memecoin traders hits record high on: April 04, 2024, 09:31:53 PM
It does seem as if memecoins are having one hell of a run and it has been enjoyable to see. But the risk remains. They are still pretty much hype-based and the hype might die down eventually so I wouldn't recommend putting all your money in memecoins which new investors might be prompted to do given these cases. However, research is paramount and so is diversification and rebalancing. It has helped me enjoy maximum profits which stand at 162% as I am typing this message.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This bitcoin bull market isn't over yet ! on: April 03, 2024, 01:41:43 PM
Yes, the bull market is not over yet because it is still in its early stages. Soon we will see a halving and there is still a possibility that the price will rise even higher.
As long as we still have time to buy bitcoin, we try to buy more bitcoin. At times like this, anything can happen and we still hope that Bitcoin ATH will come after this halving.
The bitcoin price has exceeded its last ATH, and we are still waiting for its new ATH, which is at an even higher price. We better prepare to wait for the new ATH again this year or next.
Completely agree! the bull market is still in its early stages. There was a recent dip but Bitcoin is regaining its momentum especially with the upcoming halving. I can hardly wait.
43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your next step if you experience a Great BEAR MARKET ? on: March 28, 2024, 12:33:11 PM
I will continue to invest because the bear market is temporary so even though it might feel like I've lost my earlier investment, I'll eventually recover it because with BTFC, it's all about HODLing, at least that's what I think is the right strategy. So if you do DCA over time, your risk and loss will be spread across your investments and you will end up profiting during the next or the next bull run or whenever you decide to take your gains.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to crypto. WHERE DO U GUYS TRADE?? on: March 27, 2024, 01:08:02 PM
A better option would be to trust a reputable and licensed AI trading bot that will relabance your portfolio to maximize your gains. I have enjoyed 173% profit from my investments through this method.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: March 22, 2024, 07:21:05 PM
Honestly, I dabble in both. But if you're new to the scene and have a low-risk tolerance, I would say stick to HODLing BTC or ETH or other reliable crypto like SOL. Short-term trading is certainly riskier, and you need to be willing to lose your investment to experiment with it. But it can also give high rewards if your market analysis is good and you know what you're doing. Ultimately, it's all about how much risk you're willing to take and what your investment plans are.

If you're confused about your strategy and wanna know what kind of crypto investor you are, you can take this quiz: https://r100k.com/what-type-of-crypto-investor-are-you
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: March 22, 2024, 07:15:05 PM
When it comes to BTC, it's all about buying and buying and then HODLing. The halving is almost here and many are hoping for the price to hike before that. I have also been following financial instituitions' word and SCB has currently estimated the price to hit $150,000 by the end of the year. That's pretty promising. Sure, no one can predict the price, but the word around seems to be pretty promising.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready for the Bitcoin bull market? What's your plan? Some ideas for you on: March 18, 2024, 05:59:35 PM
Yes, My feeling tells me that bitcoin is likely to make two runs and then reach its ath peak at >120k$. Therefore, realizing profits is nothing more than having to Hodl bitcoin 70% and the rest will be a story about AI, Defi, Layer 2, Gamefi, in addition to being ready with ETH, BNB, SOL, DOT... season Altcoins are getting closer. Be ready for scenarios and situations where the market may occur.

I don't know if everyone on this forum is 100% invested in bitcoin like they are saying. But I think during this bull season, allocating 20% - 30% of our capital to altcoins is not as bad an idea as many people say. During the off season, investing in altcoins is a really bad idea but we are entering the bull season when most markets will go up. So missing out on great opportunities with altcoins is truly a waste. Why don't we take advantage of the bull season to speculate on altcoins and make profits, then take that money and invest it in bitcoin when another bear season comes?

Totally agree! Investing in altcoins with about 20%-30% of your capital during a bull run is actually a smart move, and it’s pretty much my go-to strategy. We need to catch those growth waves while the market's in high gear.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me to invest altcoin now on: March 15, 2024, 09:35:54 PM
I want, after the noticeable decline today, I want you to advise me on some currencies to invest in. I have two thousand dollars to invest. I want you to give me a list of digital currencies to invest. What do you advise me?

Hey OP. Do not worry about the decline. It's expected with BTC, but it's largely still the most reliable crypto. Stay for the long haul - the road to 100K and beyond!
As for altcoins, I have to emphasize on DYOR!!
But you can start with ETH, SOL, ADA, AVAX. Check out this blog post for more help: https://r100k.com/blog/which-altcoins-will-explode-in-2024
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most investors keeps off from AltCoins because they're not good crypto analysts. on: March 15, 2024, 09:30:38 PM
Something about AltCoins that lot of Investors don't know is that you can Invest with a low capital and if you're a good market analyzer to understand that the market holds to offer and going for the right projects, you could always Invest lower capital in that AltCoin and earns bigger of profits at all costs.
But investors who doesn't know about this AltCoin analysis would always have that wrong impressions towards AltCoins. Although AltCoins differs which could grantee you profits and reliability.

Spot on! Altcoins can be intimidating because of the obvious risks, that's why many stick to Bitcoin.  But the beauty of altcoins lies in a little capital going a long way. It's all about doubling down with DYOR and finding the right project, and boom, potential for massive gains!

But many fail to understand the market. It's also not easy given the unpredictability at times. People also don't know how to look for strong altcoins and read charts. Bottom line: If you have the bucks to invest and take bigger risks, altcoins carry the potential for greater reward. But the safer choice is BTC. You also need strong portfolio rebalancing skills or you can look into a tool (check r100k) for automatic, low-risk rebalancing with the right altcoins and BTC for max gains.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best altcoin now? on: March 15, 2024, 09:23:08 PM
Well, BTC is surely down, but it won’t stay that way. So keep the faith strong, OP! As far as good altcoins go, you can check out SOL, ETH, ADA, DOT, AVAX, etc. I did my research on the ones that promise to be profitable this year. You can check it out here: https://r100k.com/blog/which-altcoins-will-explode-in-2024
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will you bitcoin holders sell if we have a major price spike? on: March 15, 2024, 09:13:24 PM
HODL all the way!! I get that a price surge is tempting, but with BTC it's best to stay for the long haul. I mean, 100k is a common target and has many positives if you go with the right investment strategy (check r100k). But you're absolutely right, people are even eying 200k. So, it's all about your investment strategy and how long you can afford to keep investing. And don't worry about the dips, they are normal. So do not panic sell!
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do we expect the altcoin season or has it already started? on: March 14, 2024, 02:32:44 PM
Great question, OP. The jury's still out on whether a full-blown altcoin season has arrived, but there are definitely signs pointing in that direction. For one, a decrease in Bitcoin's market share (dominance) often precedes an altcoin surge. We've seen this trend recently, suggesting altcoins might be getting their turn in the spotlight.
Then, the recent rise of meme coins like Dogecoin and Shiba Inu could be an early indicator of increased investor interest in altcoins. Plus, there’s continued innovation in the DeFI sector, which is attracting attention.
But the most important sign of the altcoin season is Bitcoin surpassing its previous all-time high and maintaining this momentum (it’s at 72,986.90 USD right now!)
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: March 14, 2024, 02:31:51 PM
My top five would definitely be: ETH, SOL, LINK, ADA, and MATIC. No, Moonbeam doesn’t cut it for me. The technology isn’t tested and there’s not much data to go on for checking long-term viability. My top five have this going for them, so I think they can increase my gains. also have a helpful blog post on my site, you can check that out to choose your altcoins: https://r100k.com/blog/which-altcoins-will-explode-in-2024
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 14, 2024, 02:30:59 PM
You raise a valid point, OP. Bitcoin's been stealing the show lately, leaving some altcoins in the dust. But here's a thought. While past performance doesn't guarantee future results, historically, altcoin seasons have often followed Bitcoin bull runs. The halving event in April could be a catalyst for this.
Buying altcoins now depends on your risk tolerance and investment goals. Buying altcoins before a potential season offers the chance for higher returns, but it also comes with increased risk. Holding off until after the halving and gauging market sentiment could be a safer strategy, but you might miss out on some early gains.
I'm keeping an eye on Bitcoin and promising altcoins with strong fundamentals. I’ve also researched the best altcoins that will explode this year. You can check it out here: https://r100k.com/blog/which-altcoins-will-explode-in-2024
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Dead? on: March 14, 2024, 02:29:09 PM
Bitcoin dead? Nah, OP. It's crossed 72k and going strong. While it might experience dips like it has in the past, it always bounces back. Innovation's still happening, adoption is growing, and scarcity is a key factor, especially with the upcoming halving.
Bitcoin might not be for everyone, but its potential to disrupt finance is undeniable. I believe it has a bright future and will hit the 100k mark sooner than later.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Playing crypto for many years without holding Bitcoin. on: March 05, 2024, 11:55:15 AM
Playing crypto for many years without holding Bitcoin.

Like going to school for years but never graduating.

An experienced crypto player may lose to a sister who has never played before.

The sister who has never played thinks it's very simple. Just HODL #BITCOIN.

The seasoned crypto guy, overthinking.

Instead of HODLing $BTC like the sister, he buys a bunch of shitcoins, uses leverage, delves into micro and macroeconomic analysis, technical analysis, and creates charts that reach the sky.

But he doesn't hold any Bitcoin.

The sister graduates without even enrolling.

The experienced crypto guy with years of learning still hasn't graduated.

He always tells himself the familiar phrase, "Wait for the right time..."

And the sister? She doesn't talk much; she just bought 1 BTC. Let those guys' bodies lie where they fall.

Don't be like that young guy...

You're right holding Bitcoin would be like a missed opportunity, given its track record. However, focusing solely on Bitcoin and overlooking the potential in diversifying your portfolio with other promising assets would also be a lost opportunity. I think that balance is key. Ignoring Bitcoin entirely is unwise, but so is putting all your eggs in one basket, sure you will make a profit with that approach but you could also make so much more if you're invested in others as well. I believe that wise investment involves a mix of holding solid assets like Bitcoin and exploring other opportunities cautiously.

57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Or Investing which one is better to focus on right now? on: March 05, 2024, 11:28:42 AM
We all know that We are in the bull run or bull market as they say and Bitcoin has reached its previous ATH and most traders don't know what will be the next move for BTC and some of these Altcoins are literally following the pump of BTC as well, as most are not genuinely pumping in their own accord.

So now, what do y'all do? As for me, I just invested in some coins I believe that will surge in few months while I observe what the market is doing.

I want to know what guys do. Are some of you trading the market regardless or some of you are like me, investing and observing the market
Your Right there is alot of  significant market activity with Bitcoin hitting new peaks and altcoins tagging along. My approach has been to blend smart investment choices with careful market monitoring. My strategy, for example, uses a Human-in-the-loop AI for asset rebalancing. My Crypto trading bot is designed to be flexible with market changes and optimize my returns. By diversifying my investments and keeping a close eye on market movements.

58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is sharing insights the key to better trading? on: March 05, 2024, 11:10:51 AM
You know, trading strategies are the backbone of how any trader approaches the market. Whether you're into day trading or future trading, a good strategy gives you structure and a framework to make informed decisions.

Lately, I've been seeing the importance of community and shared knowledge around trading come up a lot. Sometimes the best insights come from discussing charts, setups, and market sentiment with other traders. Since I'm posting this, I'm sure you guys will have some tips to share that I can use to trade more wisely.

I also take some insights from Bitget Insights and Binance Feed. Besides being great resources, I've noticed I'm earning a bit of $BGB for checking things out and interacting on the former exchange's Insights. It's a nice way to get a little something back while I'm learning. Don't you think it's a cool way to learn and earn at the same time?
Absolutely, sharing knowledge can definitely improve your trading progress. You can access a wide range of experiences by connecting with others and that in turn can help you refine your approach and decisions. My strategy for example leverages a Human-in-the-loop AI system, that focuses on asset rebalancing to improve our returns. My strategy isn't simple holding, but actively adjusting my portfolio to match market movements. Thats My strategy at least.

59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot Trading vs Futures Trading on: March 01, 2024, 12:40:46 PM
what are the advantages of trading in spot? I see there are many more coins available in spot but I guess that I should be careful with liquidity of those coins...

How can I know what coins to avoid? because of liquidity or manipulation etc? any tips when looking at the order book? spoofing etc?

Spot trading offers the advantage of accessing a wide variety of coins, providing more opportunities for diversification. However, liquidity is a key concern; low liquidity can lead to price manipulation and difficulty in executing trades at desired prices. To identify coins to avoid, scrutinize the order book for signs of spoofing or unusual activity, such as large orders that appear and disappear quickly, which can indicate attempts to manipulate the market. Always research the trading volume and market depth of a coin to assess its liquidity. High trading volume and consistent market activity are generally positive indicators of a healthy market for a coin.

60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Technical Analysis Really Work? on: March 01, 2024, 12:38:57 PM
Trading isn't just about charts and numbers, it's a mental game too. Sure technical analysis matters but your mindset is equally crucial. Handling wins and losses, staying disciplined and understanding market vibes are key. It's more than just knowing when to buy or sell because it's about keeping your cool when things get wild. Getting expert advice on the psychology of trading could be a game-changer, helping you ride the ups and downs with more confidence and savvy decision-making
right, i agree with you. mindset and technical analysis both of similarly important to start crypto, forex or other any trading. because many traders can not control their emotion then they made mistake and got big losses, technical analysis will help to about right time to entry and sell with profit.

There are traders that have been making using of the technical analysis and I've been making money from it without stress.
We need to learn technical analysis so we can always study the market and know what theme market could do in the next moments.
Technical analyse helps us to understand market structure and stay safe without much pressure because we can read and study the market to know what could happen in the next minutes.

Completely Agree, technical analysis is a cornerstone for alot of successful traders, helping them to decipher market trends and make informed decisions with confidence. By understanding and applying technical analysis, you can interpret market structures, forecast potential movements, and navigate the complexities of the market with a clearer perspective. Mastering technical analysis can lead to more strategic trading, minimizing stress and enhancing the potential for profitable outcomes. However, I do agree with op, it's also critical to acknowledge that trading goes beyond just chart analysis; the psychological dimension plays an important role as well.
