Since the difficulty is rising like crazy and I'm in the second batch (which I belive will be delivered no earlier than late September), it's time to ask again:
Just in case, is any refund possible for the board orders? Anything that wasn't spent yet, maybe like 5 or 10 euro per board? Or is it just zero?

Hey guys, so here's the latest update so far... Contacting and getting a hold of Ragin has been touch and go, at best. I literally call him 45-50 times and text him 65-70 times a day, most of the times with no response from his end. When I finally do get a hold of him, it's sporadic at best. Basically it's only once every few days. He's not very stable at the moment. A few of you have pledged 10% of your refunds to me and I appreciate that greatly. That has really inspired me to work overtime for you guys. I'm spending several hours a day working on this, between trying to contact Ragin, updating everybody's refund info and following this thread and writing back to people. The silver lining in all this is that I'm coming very close to a full resolution in this entire debacle. Thank you to all those that are sending me PMs, all your info has been entered in the Official Refund List. You guys, I can push for a FULL refund for all 11 orders but it really has to be UNANIMOUS decision. I can start a Google Docs of everybody that PMs me that wants out of this group buy. If you guys are interested in going down this path, then please let me know ASAP. It wont be easy to unravel but I would appreciate some BTC for the time and effort that's required to make this happen. +1 for this. Or if not, I'm sure we can get a refund on some of the machines and move the people that want to stay on the existing machines. Please add me to the list for full refunds. So what would you guys like me to do? There's no btc left. Everything is in USD. If you sent .7btc at the time it was worth $50, I can only send you $50 because I have no other funds. I don't even have enough in the bank to cover increased value of bitcoin. We need to fix this before btc skyrockets to $500. Then I will be screwed. But for now if you want refund in btc I think the best case is for me to owe you btc until I can mine with asic machines...
Here's a clue: get a refund from KNCMiner on atleast some of the machines until you have enough BTC to cover the people that want refunds. Everyone that doesn't want refunding can be moved onto the remaining machines. Why is that so hard? I think the best case is for me to owe you btc until I can mine with asic machines... lol.. no. Hey guys. As promised I am posting now. If you want a refund via PayPal you have to open up a resolution case because I cannot return without doing so and it is much faster anyway. As for btc refund I already converted into USD at the time it was sent... So if you sent at $80 or like .6 or .7 btc its been already converted into USD. I would have to buy btc at $120 and lose money for refund and so I won't have enough to refund all... If you want refund in USD PayPal I would be more than happy to do so. Again please keep in mind that I'm not here to take anyone's money and run. I've refunded over 500 btc from both Avalon chips group buy in total when they were $150 per btc... PS thank you for the text today it was good to hear that someone cares  If you would like to text me via Google voice its 8606317775 I don't particularly believe what you said, but I will accept either 10 BTC or a PayPal refund at 80GBP/BTC or 124USD/BTC if you pay the fees. Please could you PM me if you are willing to do this, although I am trying my best to reserve my judgement at the moment and will take back anything I've said previous if you do indeed process the refund. |

Hey guys. Again I am sorry for being mia but when I thought the worst was over, it is not. I am doing the best I can. I am thankful to have prodigits7 to help me out with everything. I have provides Johnk with my kncminer info and he's shown proof of the orders. As for the refunds I am working as hard as I can. The PayPal funds are frozen because my PayPal account is limited. Why? Because some people were impatient and did a charge back or dispute causing my account to go under investigation. I am working as hard as I can to refund everyone. Please keep in mind that I made a group buy #2 for Avalon chips and collected over 300 btc. Which I have fully refunded when that group buy came to a halt. Please try to understand that I am going through a hard time right now and it is taking a lot for me to even make this post.

If OP is still planning to run this project as planned, he has absolutely zero obligation to give anyone his money back.
I hope OP is an honest guy and either
a)gets his shit together or
b)tries to get the money back from KnC and refunds everybody.
If anyone is delusional, it's you buddy. We all should've done our research before we entered this mess, but we can't all pull back now, especially now we know that the order has been made.

I think there's some confusion about the refunds. The way I see it, the only people getting a refund are the people on the unfinished and unordered Jupiter#2. Everyone else: Your miner is ordered and paid for. You can't just chicken out now because you don't like OP. Maybe, if OP agrees and KnC gives him all his money back, but otherwise, we're just going to sit this out. Be a fucking man. Are you kidding me? OP can't even take 30 seconds to reply to this thread, so you think he's gonna take the time to calculate and pay everyone's dividends on time? And you think people are gonna sit around and watch their money go down the shitter? Maybe if someone else takes over the group buy then I'll be happy to wait it out, but until then, there's been too much negligence shown for this to be viable anymore. "Be a fucking man". Glad to see the miners are on order, but who says you aren't just going to mine them for yourself? It doesn't really prove anything.

So, I talked to prodigits (on his neoasics Skype), and he seems like a pretty cool guy. It still could obviously be a sock-puppet, but I doubt a sockpuppet would take the time to voice-chat and text-chat with me on Skype.
He basically wanted people to "calm down". He also invited me to a conference call with KNC Miner (that'll be happening soon, we're still working out a time) and John K.
Prodigits is the person that's building the Avalon ASIC's, apparently, so that's how he knows ragingazn.
I still haven't talked to raginazn, so I'm not sure what's up with him, but prodigits seems to want to help out.
This is what they want. This proves nothing and possibly buys time. Again I want to point out that even if the miners are on order these guys are going to fuck you. If it is this sketchy ordering imagine the bullshit you will hear when it comes time for dividends. I have not heard John K say he is working on anything with these guys other than "it doesn't look good"  Tom (tom.technologies) why don't your meet with Daniel in person in CT and show him the orders forget a KNC conference call. If all this is validated by a non puppet then he should put coins in an account as collateral with John K if he is serious about continuing this. Other than that there is no salvaging here guys be logical. Think about it all of this could have been solved in ten minutes by posting the orders here on BT. If he can't even post in this thread you have to be nuts to listen to some guy with a newly created account with or without Skype. If you have Paypal do yourself a favor and get your money back. The rest of us will be bent over. +1 to this entire post. Even if the miners are ordered, I still want out of this trainwreck ASAP. +1 to refunding everything as well. It is the best thing to do right now and I'm sure even if it has been paid for (which it hasn't judging by the blockchain balances), KNC should be willing to refund the preorder. |

FYI: Hi, I would like warn about neo-asics.com . They have been in contact with me for several weeks wanting to buy parts for several Avalon clones. They bought a kit with a few chips and payed, no problems, I shipped to their company address, they signed for it and sent back a photo of the setup. I have given them at least two weeks to pay for the parts, but they only give me exuses. I can't give them any more time now, they are welcome to give a public explanation on how they are conducting their business. I have not shipped the parts, so they have nothing to sell. 1) I made him log onto his KnCminer account in front of me to prove that all the orders had been made, which he did. So now I can verify that all orders have been submitted, paid for and completed, all with the exception of the second Jupiter group buy which never materialized.
You have nothing to back this up with. I want proof from KnCMiner and ragingazn himself. Why hasn't he replied to this thread when he can see things are getting out of hand? It's obviously not because of his "depression" if he's going off and working on other projects and totally ignoring this one.. He can't refund any of the other orders as of yet because all the money is sitting in KnCMiner's account and NOT HIS, so it's out of his control. Now unless KnCMiner agrees to refund ragingazn628 first, then all your shares are currently tied up by KnCminer at the moment and out of ragingazn628.
If that's true then why does the blockchain say it's still all sat in his account? Sounds like total BS to me. And even if it is in KNCMiner's account, I still want my refund for everything that's happened so far, as we all know this isn't going to end well whether miners get delivered or not. I want nothing to do with this group buy anymore and And again, why doesn't he say this himself instead of going through you? The other thing that is complicating matters is that anybody who is filing a dispute via PayPal is actually hurting any chances of this getting resolved in a timely matter. PayPal can't do shit because the money is with KnCMiner's PP right now, not ragingazn628 PP account.So by filing a dispute you are actually delaying things even more and making things even harder for everybody involved working to get a resolution in the matter.
