What wallet should I keep my BTC in to make sure I will receive BTG?Any secure Bitcoin wallet that gives the user exclusive control of the cryptographic private keys is a suitable location to store your coins prior to the October 25 fork. Some wallets may offer you direct access to your BTG, while others may require you to take additional technical steps. Verified wallets that support BTC and BTG side-by-side will be listed on the Bitcoin Gold home page. We will publish guides for retrieving BTG from the most popular wallets, including Bitcoin Core, Electrum, Mycelium, hardware wallets, paper wallets, and more. for more info visit our FAQ page : http://btcgpu.rapiddevcrew.com/faq/ Thanks for starting a thread on this project on bitcointalk! Just to be absolutely clear, we need the actual private key, not just a signature? I realize the private key will always work, but wanted to ask about signing since that way there's no need to move BTC to another address or wallet. Thanks and good luck on this project!

We're getting some major liquidity on buy side and sell side in the blackbyte market, buy/sell 1000s of GBB can move price <20%, midpoint is .0325 GB/GBB. come dump your blackbyte bags or load up today @ freebe.byte-ball.comThis looks promising, but it's not in the bot store?

This bear market has been tremendous...
Yeah, 90% drop from peak, to (I hope) trough. Every time I think the price can't go lower it does. Oh well, #bagholderforlife! Go Byteball!

Yeah, figured I need a break and spend my time, if only a little, more wisely. Not getting my own things done, so I need to take a break. Of course, here I am still answering others - heh (Mostly via direct messages though). My fav messages are from those people that are mad at me about the price drop, and I get to respond that I am not a part of byteball (dev or member or employee) and freely get to tell them to screw off as if I control the price.
I want to say thank you as well for all your work and help in this thread. You were a consistent voice of reason and assistance. I hope you can return soon. Good luck with the other RL projects!

- All altcoin investments locked in before 23:59 GMT September 7th for 30 days or more will receive a 20% refund of commissions on 23:59 GMT October 1st.
Could you please explain a little more about this? Is it just a reduced commission for 30 days or is there going to be a lump sum payment to our investment accounts (or balances) for the 20% rebate or ? It sounds a little like a lump sum payment, which will be super fun! Thanks again for all your work, bitvest is the best play to play, chat, and win!!!

Hello,
Just stumbled accross this thread after downloading the wallet.
why am i being asked to send 0.00653 btc to confirm my wallet address ??
That's $27 to confirm an address that I already know is mine..
can anyone elaborate please ?? thanks
The bot needs to know it's yours. However, as you note, that amount, which when byteball started was not that much, is now a much more significant amount of money. You are MUCH better off just simply using your wallet to SIGN your address rather than sending the payment. Good Luck!

I am trying to send Blackbytes GBB [...]
I don't know if this is an issue for you or not, but I know you have to have some byteballs in your balance to send your blackbytes. Sending blackbytes comes with a 'bytes' fee? Yes, you have to have some byteballs to pay for the blackbytes transaction fee as that fee is in byteballs not blackbytes. It's tripped up a few people on here. However, I don't know if that was his issue or not, e.g. I don't know what error, if any, it throws.

I am trying to send Blackbytes GBB and getting error everytime.I am sending to Blackbyte Exchange(Semi-trustless) bot with a bind condition rule.
I don't know if this is an issue for you or not, but I know you have to have some byteballs in your balance to send your blackbytes. Good Luck!

Is it mandatory to send 0.001434 BTC to the adress above in order to get the free blackbyte ? I don't have any bitcoin balance nor any bitcoin wallet. Thanks
No you need to sign the address which while it will not require a bitcoin balance it will require a wallet. Good Luck.
