hello community. i need some guidance on the wallet/external-miner.
is it possible to do, in-wallet cpu pow solo mine xmg without having to use a seperate/external mining software or without joining a pool
i can only find a staking option on the mining tab in the official wallet, the wallet has downloaded 8.78% iam long way away.
i have also downloaded the m-minerd, i have followed the readme guide within its folder about solo mining with rpc, the miner functions with the command lines in from the scrypt file, but the solo mining doesn't commence.
i guess maybe i need to be fully synchronized? or something
the external-miner says:
http request failed : failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 80: connection refused json_rpc_call failed: retry after 30 seconds
much help would be appreciate
this project has my interest.
and iam happy to see that the community is active around magi coin
thank you

understandable. true true
i know its already launched. when find time will check it out (UPDATE. oh im confused now, just noticed you saying private pow phase, so i can't participate yet i guess. but the wallet is released i suppose. going to look for the links in this thread, if not found then, ill use a search engine or ask) (UPDATE. found the links in this thread, thanks. waiting on fixes and on public pow release).
It's not PoW, the PoW phase was mined by only the dev to generate enough token for airdrop and then whole network switched to PoS. Airdrop phase ended last Friday (after 7 days of registration and filter out cheating participants) and all the airdrop token will be distribute in this week. After that Staking operation will transition from only dev to community, with additional staking bonus for 2 months, then they will try to list it on to exchanges and you can then buy the coin for staking or whatever you want it for. OTC trading is banned in their discord so if you want to buy some coin early you need to contact someone who got the airdrop and want to sell it by yourself. TL,DR: You missed the airdrop phase and either need to wait for 2 months+ to get some token from exchanges or you need to contact someone who got airdrop and buy it by yourself. Okay thanks for notice. Sorry for my confusion. I may decide to trade once the market place is open for business

amajingly simpol pleej. 2 complaxity compusion fo moowa.
i go foloo twita and joen disco. in da foocha
i want to delve in CTA gaming (or as they name it metaverse) (never had or will have experience in smart-contracts, and is very risky for early days) where it is simply possible to battle/collect/trade for real digital blockchain assets without the need of complexities for the basic end user.

Pow Network?
Hi, I'll be sharing full launch details soon. We will be launching with a private PoW phase for a few hundred blocks before switching to PoS. We will then operate our airdrop with the goal to make sure that no one entity controls more than 50% of staking. In short, we want to make sure that the community hold more tokens than the core team otherwise the DAO and blockchain will be centralised and relatively meaningless. i know its already launched. when find time will check it out (UPDATE. oh im confused now, just noticed you saying private pow phase, so i can't participate yet i guess. but the wallet is released i suppose. going to look for the links in this thread, if not found then, ill use a search engine or ask) (UPDATE. found the links in this thread, thanks. waiting on fixes and on public pow release).

mining (bitnet). though i will be collecting a few on the way from trades instead (no time at the moment). will be limiting my bitnet mining process in future, will be completely lowering it from 26 cores/threads (which im mining bitnet with at the moment) to 4 or 2 cores/threads (i have 32 cores/threads-total). i have my reasons. (UPDATE: I've put those 26 cores/threads to use back to some place else. I have my reasons ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) I need find or wait for a pay per share mining ⛏️ pool with a smaller threshold. This way this will insure me a window of assurance and confidence. I wonder what an upside down bitcoin would look like. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I do like Bitnet for the enthusiastic support for CPU. I appreciate though. Really really. Continue with the greatnet-work haha ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ). I only use a single desktop PC for mining and researching purposes. Planned to upgrade in future and also get secondary in far future ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ).

kaspa hash ?
On what algo will it be?
(UPDATE. oh i just realized and noticed the algorithm itself is called: CASHASH. (sounds to me like CASH-HASH) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Has the launch of this coin already happened?
When will the mainnet start? Waiting for more info. Lets see what will come out of it.
Mmm that would be interesting to know, let's wait ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Big Scam. No one in their right mind will do KYC to mine crypto.
Sure. (I mine bitcoins with my (single desktop) cpu) ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

we plan to stay on sha256 indefinitely
YEA RIGHT WHAT HAPPENED? NOW THIS AURUM CRAP...
we decided to switch to CPU mining back in December basically to have more support from more users basically we dont want to be dependent on ASICs anymore you have to realize there are only 1,000,000 ASICs in circulation but there are over 3 billion computers worldwide that mine for BIT using their home computers by switching to CPU mining we open our doors to many more people so that everyone can get involved I am sorry if I did not update bitcointalk forums but I decided to update Bitcointalk by letting everyone know we switched into CPU mining as of 01-13-2024 when we reached block height 125,000 basically some of our pools are https://bnomp.ioand https://anomp.ccUnderstandable (UPDATE. And ASICS do not have the ability for general purposes like how computers do. General though advanced)

Nice nice, finally you've come up with a name and consensus for your cryptocurrency/bitcoin project I'll look into this when I find time and I will email you with my x1coin address for bitcoins. Thanks

Thank you for understanding, current Bitcoin was taken over with the asic. I am just trying to see this with a different set of parameters. If you need anything else let me know.
Thank you, and feedback is definitely appreciated.
Cool cool, nice

Let me know your receiving address once you generate it on the new chain, and I will send you some free Bitcoins.
How many is some? Give people an idea of how much you value their time. Hey, thank you for the response. I am offering 5 Bitcoins per wallet address. I am in the process of writing a PHP script for a faucet, so you would just have to solve the captcha. You can email your generated Bitcoins address to satoshi@vistomail.com. my hard-drive capacity is not enough to generate a bitcoin core address. i dont have bitcoins sofware it's out-dated. but my hadware is up-to-date for this current time
