There are many people better than me in many ways and who contribute more to the forum than I do, and they should be the ones to receive it.
Thanks for taking my joke exactly in the way I intended Grin. IMHO you are also a gem to this community who understands and maintains the very spirit of the forum.
I can understand that it feels good to realize someone is paying attention to our efforts even after so many days. It happened to me as well when @lovesmayfamilis gave me a merit for one of my posts after more than 100 days.

I think he should earn a forum badge or something.

And you should be given a forum badge for making a topic out of it. Grin
Joke aside, even I am amazed by his dedication and comprehensive knowledge. It will take a long time for me to achieve that level. Kudos to him; he is a gem to this community.

45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the difference between those gambling for fun and for profit. on: October 11, 2024, 12:58:48 PM
what is important to them is the intermediate moment, the one when you do not yet know who you are.
That's a great perspective on not only gambling but any thrill-based sport or activity. You're so immersed in that intermediate moment that it becomes part of your identity, growing with time. You feel uncomfortable when you're not doing it.
Many people will interpret this post as a praise for degenerate gamblers. However, I'm actually against playing negative expected value casino games. I always advise people to look for positive expected value games if they want the thrill of gambling. In my opinion, you can have the best of both worlds that way. But keep in mind that gaining that edge requires the same level of focus and dedication as any other endeavor in life.
46  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan 0.09 btc on: October 11, 2024, 12:24:35 PM
Need loan 0.09 btc

It is good that you did not post your BTC address, which opens the possibility of you having valid collateral and a repayment amount (with interest) in mind. Please tell us specifically what collateral you are offering.
On a lighter note: I am sure you know that BTC stands for Bitcoin, which requires a wallet address to receive them Grin. I mean, even if someone wanted to be scammed so badly (I am just speculating), there is absolutely zero chance Grin.

EDIT: My mistake, indeed some of you  are capable of sending bitcoins without wallet addresses, just do not forget to post transaction ID. Grin
47  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETMODE: First Web3 Casino with Full Transparency Bankrolls! on: October 11, 2024, 10:00:37 AM
Great point, mate! If they claim to be honest and fully transparent, they must impose a maximum win of 2-5% of their bankroll, which would be around 2k-4k. This will repel any high rollers from playing. I am curious to see how they solve this while remaining 100% transparent.

As I pointed out in my previous post, it is possible that it is not their entire bankroll but it's just a bankroll of their hot wallet which they can top up from time to time. I believe not all casinos keep their entire bankroll on a single wallet due to the possibility of hack or other possible security threats. I am not sure what is the case for Betmode. But since they launched a signature campaign and spent thousands of dollars a week to advertise their platform, I think they have other wallets with funds that they will top up if needed. But all is just my speculation.
Possible? Yes! The fact that they are claiming to be the 'First Web3 Casino with Full Transparency Bankrolls!' suggests otherwise to me because they would have already provided them. They can prove me wrong and clear any uncertainty among players by just providing 'proof of funds' regarding their cold storage.
I am not even arguing along the lines that you need a much higher bankroll to legitimately run a fair casino (which most would argue). I am saying it is good that even if they had a comparatively small bankroll (at least they are fully transparent about it), why not put a max win limit (no matter how small)? It will only boost credibility in the long term.

48  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🎉 Easy $50 Prize with Vave Casino! Share Your Opinion & Win! 💰✨ on: October 11, 2024, 08:38:20 AM
Hi, Vave has some exciting news to share! (Same Rules, Better Chance)
LOL! In fact, it is totally the opposite (drastically less chance) for genuine members who spend their valuable time posting their honest reviews. Earlier, there were only 4 submissions (though your team was accepting only two) which could have ensured a 100% chance of them winning. But now, since others who did not submit their reviews in a timely manner, or simply did not want to, can also participate, and let's say you get your goal (10 reviewers), the chances of winning for early honest reviewers are only 50%. Not only that, they might have to wait for one month extra just to stand a chance.
As I have said earlier, the correct course would have been to first pay honest reviewers and then start a new round or extend it. Keep in mind this is not a giveaway (charity).
NOTE: This is just my honest opinion; you can choose to completely ignore it. It is your prerogative to handle it however you wish. Let's hope we do not have to look for 'colored footer' this time.
49  Economy / Reputation / Re: MeGold666 is accusing me of scamming. on: October 11, 2024, 07:58:11 AM
As you know, I have locked this topic (after input from reputed members), but I realized this would not be fair to @MeGold666. I know he already indicated that he is not interested in further discussion, but there is a chance that he might have something to say after reading posts from experienced members. So I am unlocking this thread for 48 hours so that he can have sufficient time to say what he wants to say. After that, I will lock this topic forever.
It is possible that he realized that he acted in a impulsive manner, I am also removing my negative feed to him for 48 hrs. Rest is up to him.

50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the difference between those gambling for fun and for profit. on: October 10, 2024, 10:38:49 PM
In some unrelated topics on this board, some persons here have talked about those that gamble for fun and those that gamble for profits alone, while some persons are of the opinion that there's nothing like gambling for fun alone, that everyone is gambling for profite.

So, I want us to elaborate the discuss here as a topic of its own. What's the difference between players that gamble for fun and players that gamble for profit alone? Do you also disagree that no player is gambling for fun? Drop your opinions.

Imagine a buffet where some people want to enjoy food while others are focused on getting the most value out of their money. No matter what, 'food' will be the center around which every experience happens. The same goes for 'money' in gambling.

52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The GG Poker Paradox: Thriving in a Declining Industry on: October 10, 2024, 09:50:55 PM

@Poker Player, @seoincorporation, @peter0425, @Wexnident, @arallmuus, @Doan9269, @alani123, @Wiwo, @Julien_Olynpic, @yahoo62278, @tokeweed, @Findingnemo, @Yatsan, @davis196,

Most of you focused on Strong Reputation & Marketing, Excellent Software, Large Player Base, Player Engagement, and Combating Cheating as the reasons for GG's paradoxical success.
I am not saying these are not important factors; indeed, these are the building blocks of any responsible gambling platform, let alone poker. Do you think other platforms lack these measures to such a degree that none of them is doing well? Here, I will give you the example of PokerStars, and I would argue that no one can beat PokerStars' standards when it comes to fair play-based reputation. Regarding promotion and marketing, PokerStars ruled the arena in terms of creating a whole new category of emerging poker celebrities and engaging content. They had a significant player base, and there wasn't much difference in terms of player base among other platforms.
But things suddenly changed after the advent of GG. It's not that GG is better in terms of all the above indicators; there was something else much deeper which, in my humble opinion, is responsible for GG's growth.
My argument is that while other platforms were going 'all in' to make poker a 'professional sport,' e.g., enabling HUDs on their platforms to favor skilled players, high amounts of rakeback, and so on, GG took a different approach from the beginning. They focused on the gambling aspect of poker, e.g., you cannot use a HUD (though they have their own, but it is available for all; even then, you can only look for VPIP at first glance, so there's less data to analyze), by default you have to gamble for your rakeback (you can choose fixed rakeback, but it is low), gamble for GG care, enabling bets on the flop, and promoting side bets, etc. All in all, they made life difficult for pro players. So most of the players (recreational players) who were losing on PokerStars quickly began to see slower deterioration of their bankrolls, which made them stick with GG.
GG is also available almost all over the world (they are good at bypassing local laws), and no matter which country you're from, there will be a skin of GG for you, and you will be playing internationally. The story is different for PokerStars, as not only are they not available worldwide, but you cannot play internationally from some locations, e.g., for Indians, there is PokerStars India, and you will be playing with only Indian players. I am not sure how GG is able to do that because if it were legal, I am sure PokerStars would have done it already.

                                                                          BALANCE UPDATE
I was not able to play any poker on days 11 and 12. I played freerolls on my local Indian poker platform but nothing serious. I made 5-6$ bucks but also lost on cash tables, so overall I made around 2$ after day 12 (played less than 2 hours). But on day 13, when I decided to put some serious effort into cash tables, I grinded for almost 6-8 hours (1 hr each session) and made around 40$ playing on almost 4 platforms simultaneously. I would have been up over 50$ but decided to play a 15$ bounty hunter on 7xl and lost badly (I played bad).To make things even worse I realized that my free bets worth 20$ also expired.
Today is a very different story though. It seems like finally my consistent approach to playing selected high-value freerolls paid off. I secured 2nd place and around 130$ in prize money. I was the big chip leader heads up, but sometimes you can't beat variance, although I feel good about my play.
So updated balance is around 360$.
Below are the screenshots of some big hands and tournament place which helped me greatly.

Do you leave all your balance on your casino account after you play? You can use a low gas fee shitcoins such as Doge in able to save fees to collect all your balances at one wallet then deposit back to different casino when you want to play again.
Doge is good choice since investing on meme coin is part of your strategy to reach the 1BTC goal.
Anyway, it’s still your call on how you manage your bankroll. Try to avail no wagering bonuses of casino, it will give you some extra money if you play it safely. I suggest avail the winz.io wheel of winz.
Yes, mostly, but when I win on platforms where they don't have enough players on cash tables, I usually cash out. Right now it's not possible for me to convert all my balance to any specific crypto for practical reasons (different tournaments, table selections, etc.), but I will surely do something along those lines as I progress.
54  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🎉 Easy $50 Prize with Vave Casino! Share Your Opinion & Win! 💰✨ on: October 10, 2024, 07:32:21 AM
You cannot simply add another rule just because it suits you. @julerz12, I do not know how much say you have in this giveaway, but this is unfair to members who sincerely posted their reviews before the due date.
I was thinking of participating in this, but now since you (platform in question) have not delivered on your promise, I am going to stay away as it tells a lot about your conduct and professionalism.
No NEW rule was added.
These rules have been in the thread since September 11, 2024 (See the edited date of the first post).
Also, currently, there are only two (2) valid participants who followed the contest rules (blue Snow & Vladv26), while others may have submitted their reviews, most did not follow the instructions (example: No Vave username).
As mentioned in the thread (green text, footer), we need at least 20 to keep this contest going.
It's OK if you think it is ethical. We all are entitled to our opinions, no hard feelings. For me, it does not matter if only one participant was there before due date. I'm just saying that, in my humble opinion, it looks like you are only prioritizing your own requirements above all (yeah! you can rule like 'we reserve all rights' Grin). What if you don't get enough members even after 'a few days'? Will you still extend it? If NO, then why did you do it in the first place? As I said, it reflects the manners and mindset in which the casino in question wants to operate.
55  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETMODE: First Web3 Casino with Full Transparency Bankrolls! on: October 10, 2024, 06:47:02 AM
Your bankroll seems to be low for a casino and usually max win per bet in a casino is few percent based on the bankroll so the question is how much is your max win/profit per bet?
As far as I know most casino uses 1%-5% max win/profit of the bankroll, and since you are also provide slots game where there are chances to win more than your current bankroll, how will you deal with such situation.
Ask about it because your current bankroll can be considered as low while there are many possibilities of players hit huge multiplier with decent bet amount (above $5).
If there is no max win per bet rule, I'm wondering how will you pay player's winning if the amount is lets say 3x or even bigger than your current bankroll?
Great point, mate! If they claim to be honest and fully transparent, they must impose a maximum win of 2-5% of their bankroll, which would be around 2k-4k. This will repel any high rollers from playing. I am curious to see how they solve this while remaining 100% transparent.

Hello dear participants, first, thank you for participating. We will extend the contest duration for a few days until we reach the target number of participation.
The best course of action (ethically) would have been to first pay the four accounts who posted their honest reviews before the due date.

MeGold666 has made some serious allegations against me and I totally deny them.
He is accusing me of promoting my own scam casino platform; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5510759.msg64615192#msg64615192 and luring people into scam.
I dare him to prove this or publicly apologize to me.
am not against any sort of criticism of my approach to life and earning money. In fact, I welcome it wholeheartedly. However, accusing me of being a scammer and reporting me as such is unacceptable to me.
Grow thicker skin buddy. You know how many of us have been accused of this or that? If you want to reply to them, that's your business but making a thread over it especially when there is no proof on his side and he is a unknown in the community, least nobody I know, you should probably just deny and move on. You will only lose sleep fighting with someone who has no proof. They have their opinion and will not change it easily, they just want to argue is how it seems to me.
I already have thick skin, and it is growing thicker. It's not that he disturbed my mental peace or anything; I will be sleeping as usual Grin. I'm just doing my part in pointing out a troll. If he had done the same against any other member, my response would have been the same. I totally understand your advice and am very thankful that you commented on this thread, but isn't this reputation board for such things? I mean, what do I know? I'm just a noob here. If you still think I'm overstretching the issue, please let me know, and I will immediately lock this thread.
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thank You, BITCOINTALK: Why This Forum Is So Amazing (Motivation for Beginners) on: October 09, 2024, 03:34:55 PM
I want to share how this forum can help you in ways you don't even expect. The knowledge and networks you will build here are priceless. I joined this forum almost 5 months back

Five months of being a member who have acquired a lot from here, but still on a member rank, what an ideology, are you sure you're learning or was it that you're giving less from what you have learnt.

Am I right in understanding that I see a subtext here? OP, you are being asked to share what you have acquired in these five months because you are still a participant and your ideology is only aimed at money Grin.
I wonder why people are being disingenuous? I do not believe that you can study something theoretically without wanting to have practice. Is it fascinating to study Bitcoin without having it and without trying to increase its amount? Are there strict rules when people should inquire about their financial situation after being on this forum?

Enough is enough! STOP stalking a money-oriented, degenerate, gambling-addicted, selfish scammer who does not believe in giving back to the community.
60  Economy / Reputation / Re: MeGold666 is accusing me of scamming. on: October 09, 2024, 02:30:52 PM
There is a concept in psychology that if a person is very aggressive towards something, then this is precisely his trigger, which brings pain. These people are weak and therefore angry. The problem is in him, not in the OP. He probably has a bad experience (no desire to read his profile).
However, the fact that he states that the OP's posts can somehow influence other people to follow him sounds very thoughtless. I do not argue; maybe someone will want to get carried away by such an activity, but the barrel of a gun is not pointed at them.
Let everyone do what they like; in the case of the OP, it is difficult to say that his freedom of action prevents others from living in peace.
It is indeed psychological projection, and I find merit in your argument that 'freedom of actions must not prevent others from living in peace.' The only problem is that no matter what you do, people will find a way to get offended by your freedom. I am totally okay with that if it comes in the form of sarcasm or harsh criticism. The only point of contention here is that you cannot simply call someone a scammer (you are free to think so) without providing at least some sort of argument, let alone proof. I am sure we have some sort of regulations here for that.
