I want it to tank so I can buy shares at .0005

May I ask how you've arrived at that particular value for shares of liar inc?

I fail to see how bitfunder is any safer than btct.co? In fact it appears even more vulnerable to regulators.

Havelock has open inquiries about their regulatory compliance.

I also don't see how locking benefits anyone. If people want to trade they should be allowed to do so.

I would think they'd be able to get it figured out by the end of October.

You would think that based on what facts exactly?

Who needs facts when they have...

there is no such thing as "luck" when mining.  it is all statistically based.

dafuq.

So if two miners with equal hashing power begin solo mining at exactly the same instant they'll always have the same earnings? ...or will one be moar "statistically relevant" over time?

Yeah the case size increase isn't pretty. Hashfast is sticking with their 2U case size story for sierra(1.2Th).
48  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra now accepts Credit Card and Paypal !!! on: September 26, 2013, 02:22:28 AM
Blame banksters dood.

Bitfury US is also having a hell of a time getting banksters to help them accept cc payments. Banksters don't like bitcoin.

BS, KnC offer both Paypal and now have the largest bank in Skandanavia, SEB offering them a merchant account. It's to do with accountability and what the third parties request from you to provide.

How way awesome for knc. Probably help them to sell even more second rate FPGA to ASIC copies. Bitfury US is just lying then? I mean unlike knc they actually have a product to sell, but aren't processing cc orders...because...bitcoin I presume? Paypal? When did knc start taking pre-orders? What's PPs policy on pre-order time to delivery again? Do you even think before you pump knc in multiple threads?

Stupid shill. Get your nose out of knc's ass for 5mins.

Investors in this turd are like battered wives at this point. Just leave. Btcg had a run of great luck leading up to and shortly after the difficulty hike.

Labcoin lied about daily increases of hashing power just as they've lied about nearly everything else. Current market cap is STILL 17k BTC for a mining company with a hashrate of < 800Gh/s and soon to have zero liquidity. To say that it's still grotesquely overvalued is an understatement. R U N  A W A Y

My own mining company(market cap 4344BTC) hashing at just north of 1Th/s on btcg currently has 19 blocks in shifts currently being paid.

I would of course point out that Labcoin will be bringing more hash rate online through the week, months and coming months. The team is also working on choosing an exchange for share transfer.

Yeah I know bud. 6Th 4Th 2Th 700Gh, but eventually you guys will get your high tech 130nm chips tweaked out, probably right about the time your competitors are shipping their 2nd batch of 28nm chips. Just need a few more weeks bought and paid for with a few more lies. How'd that solo mining stint work out btw?

You guys were to have 4Th/s online for almost the entire last difficulty, but it didn't happen and the labcoin shareholders that took you guys at your word lost out. Give it a rest already, that bridge is burned.

Anyone looking at the mining dashboard estimates before buying ANY rigs now...that's got to be a cooler. You struggle to find anything that will reach break even on there now, except the Jupiter delivered in Sept/ Oct and the price is the november discount one not the price anyone actually likely to get one in those months paid.

Even if it's not accurate it's bound to make people think twice unlike 2 or 3 months back when it looked a lot rosier if not exactly bright.

I think it's possible that miners will become much harder to sell, and even moreso on pre-order given the near future losses they are likely to make. Some serious price cuts would be required to improve that.

Even at 5k, would you buy a Jupiter today knowing it would arrive in mid November and never break even? That's looking likely now. So who is going to be buying them?

Nope. Vendor pre-order queues are already filled with pre-orders though. Hashfast just came off their sale in which you could get 1.2Th for $6k + shipping...allegedly for November shipping(more likely December). That's $5/Gh with knc at $12.5/Gh. Prices are falling so fast I don't see why people are still lining up to order gear...but they are.

breaking even is 0% ROI.

.)) joking, right?

No.  It is a very basic financial concept.  Breaking even is no PROFIT.  REVENUE =/= PROFIT.   ROI% measures PROFIT.

It's terrifying how few seem to grasp this simple notion.

Sure, but don't really see how it matters. We already know BFL has been jerking their victims around for nearly one full year. MR investors in particular have been thoroughly brutalized. Given the extent of this fraud there are bound to be true stories of people in these situations.

OMG BFL is repulsive. Sad

MiniRig SC
Hi there,

Several of my friends and I invested in a MiniRig SC (1500Gh version) and some smaller boxes back in Feburary this year. (2013)

Since then, the main investor has found out he has terminal cancer. His blog is here mcrc4.com | Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Stage 4

He's 44 and has 2 kids.

Right now, we're trying to do all we can to get our MiniRig before he passes away and set it up for his kids education fund.

I've emailed Jody three times now, left numerous messages and tried to get a copy of the sales agreement for him to look at.

So far, nothing. With the difficulty going up like it is, it seems our investment will be worthless, if we get it at all.

Could someone PLEASE respond and let us know when we could possibly expect the units and send me a copy of the sales agreement

I've don't understand why this inaba guy...

Isn't he supposed to be doing PR for BFL?

Why is he so unprofessional?

BFL is using a PR model that's designed to weed out "troublemakers" and preys upon those that do little or no diligence prior to ordering. Simply search Inaba/BFL_Josh's post history and you will note that he's all but stated this directly on numerous occasions.

The problem here is the preorders.

Whoa! Easy buddy. Last time I said something so radical in this thread I had to dodge some thrown stones. Tongue

Surprised ?
In earlier times the bearer of bad news usually got killed..

I guess not, it's just rather disappointing that even people familiar with mining don't seem to see the risks even after BTCFPGA, BFL, Avalon, BFL, & BFL. Nasty mining has multiple orders in for monarchs and Cognitive just ordered 14*2Th from CoinTerra for January delivery. I don't know with absolute certainty if these guys that are plainly knowledgeable about mining are making +EV bets or no, but I do know with reasonable certainty that they cannot know what exchange rates or vendor margins will look like by the time they're receiving gear. Ordering expensive equipment should not be such a gamble and it wouldn't be if people would stop sending vaporware vendors zero interest loans multiple months in advance of expected shipping dates.

60  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: September 24, 2013, 10:01:28 PM
In all seriousness, a good proof that they were sitting on their components and mining, would be if mining suddenly became much harder and BFL products started flying out the door.

It would also give them a chance to go "hey, look, Monarch go hash hash fast fast".

This way they could pump more cash from the few zombies still following the stench fest.

Numerous times the network saw a massive spike in hashrate with no known massive shipments of units. So someone had their private farm of ASICS.  It could have been a rich millionaire or the Chinese government or the NSA, who knows.

But you could mine with customer's rigs and not let on.  Say you have 100 mini rigs mining.  It's not like you flipped them on all at once.  It was gradual, like say a couple per day.  The wouldn't look odd as many various ASICS were being shipped all around the world.

Now say Sonny has 100 mini rigs mining in his basement.  It's not like he's gonna shut them all off at once and ship them.  No, he's gonna shut down a couple per day and ship them and most likely replace them with newer orders so there will always only be a gradual scaling up of the network so it will not look obvious at all.

A 100 minrigs is nothing nowadays, they suck so much power that they are not worth owning.

ABSOULTELY. Why that's a paltry net of $26k PER DAY @ $.1/kWh. Who'd bother with that?!?
