44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we have too many alt coins? on: August 16, 2014, 08:32:29 PM
I think personally we have to many alt coins and there is not point for so many. But there's nothing we can really do about it unfortunately.

I think you can do It on this website : http://coinmotors.com/

Site doesn't seem too active but I'll look into it.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering where I could possibly sell my car for bitcoins? I don't wanna sell it on this forum. So is there anywhere else?
I need a legit place. Thank you Smiley

Why do u think that this isnt legit place?
If you're from US, theres a good chance you will find a buyer fast, ofc if your price is adequate for the car ure selling.

Is there a particular reason you only want to sell for bitcoin?

Yes I am from US and possibly I'll sell here. I was just looking for different places as well. And because I only use cash and bitcoins. I don't usually use any other payment for anything.

You can sell your car here very easily and securely just post pictures of this and your demand you can use escrow also many big deals already happen here without any problem

I'll look into selling here possibly, just was looking for other options as well.

Yeah, thats what im saying also,
but it seams that for some reason he doesnt want to sell here, thinking its not trusted.

@OP just make sure you are using escrow service if possible, that way both you and the buyer will be protected.

I'll accept escrow I don't mind. And maybe I'll try here just wanted other options.
Thank you guys.

Bitaddress.org is good and reputable, and you can download it from its github repository and run it from an offline computer for extra security if you'd like.
I haven't tried this site personally but I've heard some good things from it.

Faucets are a waste of time trust me. You'll only get a few cents so what's the point?
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How anonymous is the Skyhook Bitcoin ATM on: August 15, 2014, 06:47:00 PM
I was looking into buying one but I wanna know how anonymous it is? I know bitcoins are anonymous obviously but let's say I buy one correct. Then from there I put in a secure area where I know others will use it. How secure will it be and anonymous? Just out of curiosity. Thanks

You can buy them, and send them to other addresses you own. For example, send it around 100 times. Nobody will know its you.
Addresses can be anonymous - it depends what you do with them.

It's anonymous for the people buying the bitcoins from me as well right?

Well it depends on you Cheesy

You can buy a skyhook and anonymously place it anywhere in the city Tongue then it will be not really safe but for sure no one will know that it is yours Smiley

If you want to sell Bitcoins to other people with a Bitcoin machine you won't be anonymous as you need to pay taxes from those bitcoins which you sold Smiley

I don't understand what kind of anonymousity are you interested about?

People who will use your machine wont know your name Smiley (just because they bought some bitcoins).

But if your address from which bitcoins will be sent will be added anywhere to your company you will be easy to find.

I don't know what is your meaning, can you expand?

Basically I'll be setting it up on a campus where plenty of people use bitcoins. And I know most of them would be interested in buying bitcoins. So I was wondering if I set it up some place lets say like a library where numerous people go for studying ect. Can I be anonymous without them knowing that I'm selling them the bitcoins?
