The team of Devs is still active in twitter and they updated the official website. Probably they don't like to spend much time in forums.
As long as the dev is still there, there will be a hope. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Testing using the TestNet has been good so far. I'm keeping the amount of changes to a minimum to prevent unpleasant surprises. I think the new Wallet 0.5.0 and cgminer 3.7.7 could be released sometime next week. If you want, you can go to GitHub and look at what I've checked in to kryptohash branch 0.5.0.
The plan is to transition the network to version 2 beginning at block 50,000. Everybody will need to upgrade their Wallets before Block 49,000 to ensure a smooth transition.
Thanks,wr104,please notify nonce-pool ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Why does Android wallet need the network to transite from KSHAKE320 version 1 to KSHAKE320 version 2?
What's the difference between KSHAKE320 version 1 and KSHAKE320 version 2?
It is better to wait for the network to transition to version 2 so, I don't have to worry about making substantial changes to yet another Wallet. After testing 4 candidates for the KSHAKE320v2 over last couple of weeks, I decided to go with the simplest change to the Algorithm. Simple is always the best, IMO. This new algorithm will only be 2% slower than version 1 in GPUs and yet, it will still work as a preemptive strike against possible future ASIC implementations by requiring more computing power to those choosing not to use RAM. Other algos I tested were pretty much forcing the usage of RAM but, they were as much as 40% slower than algo version 1. Hi,wr104,when will the KSHAKE320 version 2 be released?

SPR may be dead if the price is falling below 10K satoshi.

KHC reminds me of Spreadcoin, low price in the beginning but rising steady.

all the "cool" coins are now X something, xmr, xpy... so should we start calling this one xhc and xryptohash
This is not a scrypt or standardized x[y] scrypt coin. It is a new algo that can be modified to combat the idea of the asic, and with pid to control diff, it is in a class by itself, beyond that it complies with new standards. It does not need an 'X' to be 'cool', it has that all on it's own. This is why I decided to bring my GPUs out of retirement. It looks like someone has bought up quite a few sells on lazycoins. Yeah, it does look like we are not the only folks that see potential in this, as soon as I saw it is actually something new I was on it. Bang up job wr104! SYS is below 100 sats again after 500 sat IPO sale, not sure if those folks missed the boat, or just flat jumped off. KHC trading at 900 sats and hasen't even been really introduced yet, wait until it hits the larger exchanges. It's me,I've bought 23K KHC at the market price on lazycoins.

And it's roughly 1 SPR per day. It has little sense with pools or without them. SPR blocks are generated pretty fast, every minute. So somebody with 1/1000 of net hashrate still can get the block about every 2/3 of the day. And even with 1/10000 it's every 7 days. When (if) price will go up, mining will be even harder, sure. But I like the idea that only dedicated miners will mine SPR, without switching on it for quick profit. Idea of 'poolless' mining is good for coin security, even if it is not easy for miners. And honestly, I think sooner or later there will be workaround, there are some ideas ITT how to do it. But Mr. Spread is a good programmer and very good person. I think SPR will have a bright future. If there's ever a workaround that doesn't get instantly fixed, SPR will tank in value as it becomes just another short lived short term BTC/fiat hose for the ADD instadumpers, ie. 99.99% of all miners. I can't see any major dumping going on anytime soon though because what's the reward a block right now? 6.6 SPR or something like that? This is a hold till the price is very right to be dumped as far as I'm concerned but that's just my opinion. I also believe in Mr. Spread taking any actions necessary to improve and continue to develop SpreadCoin into the amazing coin I believe that it will ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Cheers Most dumping happened months before cex on the other 2 small exchanges. That's why the dumping is weak now.
