41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Fork/Airdrop Total Balance Checker on: May 13, 2019, 05:19:03 PM
You can use ForkMyCoins. It can check 20 addresses at the time as long as they don't have more than 50 transactions.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Full list of trusless crosschain exchanges on: May 13, 2019, 05:00:43 PM
I agree that my formula may sound a bit tricky but I'm not sure that Atomic swap is the unique technology possible to get the result I'm looking for (see the core research I'm working on here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5138218.0). I'm not that much familiar with the exchanges listed in this topic so it may be a complete nonsense what I'm about to say but for instance I feel like Bisq is not using exactly Atomic swap, or?

I thought you were referring to atomic swaps only. In this case, the thread title makes sense.

Bisq doesn't use LN/Atomic swaps. It's less complicated and It is simply a decentralized P2P exchange. And since you have it and BarterDex as well, maybe you should add the others as well.

43  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] COINSBANK.COM launches Universal Crypto Solution at Money2020 Europe on: May 13, 2019, 04:47:11 PM
Reset account balance! Scammers!

They clearly don't care about their image on this thread anymore. If you have evidence, it's better to post in the scam accusations with the necessary details.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀 Adbank 🤖: The New World Currency of Online Advertising on: May 12, 2019, 03:25:13 PM
Does anyone know If they managed to launch the main platform? I can't find much except the BLADE software which is apparently, an adblocker instead of an advertising platform like Adsense?
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] Xera tokens (cheaper than ICO) on: May 12, 2019, 02:53:16 PM
It is very hard to trade with tokens which were not listed yet on any exchange. Most of them dump 10x or more after the first exchange listing.
Maybe you can try with this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=721115 I remember, He had previously offering to buy up tokens from the bounty hunter much before tokens going to exchange.

It should not be the case here though, it's an exchange coin, it has a use case. The only ones that could dump it are the bounty hunters who don't represent the majority of the holders and in that case, the damage won't be that significant.

As for the guy you mentioned, I rather not contact him because his trust already says it all.

The tokens are still for sale, and as I said, I'm not promising any guaranteed gains here, please do your own research before buying from me.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Dump the alts on: May 12, 2019, 02:34:21 PM
I'm not here to spread FUD before you start throwing accusations at me. I'm just saying though, Bitcoin is increasing in price, and it's probably a very wise idea to sell your coins and hold BTC at this point. I'm however not referring to alts like ETH, Tezos, LTC and the other solid ones out there. I'm mostly referring to the projects that have not followed the roadmap and didn't manage to deliver and let's be honest, there are plenty. Probably anything not in the top 15 in CoinMarketcap is not worth investing it (with few exceptions).

And apparently, there is some confusion within the community about price increases in CoinMarketCap and people think that everything is going up right now, which is not the case. The green numbers you're seeing in the price page don't represent much. If you click on the coin though, you'll see the price in Satoshi... that's the one that should be increasing.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ICONOMI - Live for today. Invest for tomorrow. on: May 11, 2019, 05:53:17 AM
No reason to bump this thread anymore and give it publicity. I was an investor and I can say that this project died the minute they switched from dividends to buyback program.

All one has to do is take a look at the CoinMarketCap charts and see how of much of a failure this was. Not trying to spread FUD and everyone is free to do whatever he wants, but as an advice, since I've been here since this project started, I would suggest selling everything you got for BTC or ETH.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WINBIX PreDAICO starts!!! participate in unique sales system #28 on: May 10, 2019, 04:30:56 PM
What's the raised amount so far? Is it the amount in ETH that can be seen in blockexplorer in 0x8a451BCD32a78661678E08a724C9f759906FD2Eb?

I would also recommend you make the text on the site more clear, because this part:

Code:
Address of the PreDAICO smart contract for ETH transferring: 0x8a451BCD32a78661678E08a724C9f759906FD2Eb

Is not really understandable for the average user as not everyone is familiar with smart contracts and most ICOs ask you to make an account, and deposit in simple steps.

An example that would be better to follow in my opinion:

Code:
- Send ETH to the following address: 0x8a451BCD32a78661678E08a724C9f759906FD2Eb
- Wait for 10 confirmations
- Receive Winbix tokens will be sent to the address you sent from (please make sure you're using an address that you fully control its private keys)
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Full list of trusless crosschain exchanges on: May 10, 2019, 03:21:10 PM
SparkSwap is another option even though it's not that newbie friendly. I also wouldn't suggest listing Atomicwallet as it has been accused of being related to serious scams . I think changing the title from "crosschain" to "Atomic swap" would be more familiar to users.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: May 10, 2019, 10:13:16 AM
After one year, this thread is still able to fool many forum readers. I think this just illustrate the bad browsing habits of many people online and is indeed a rich target for scammers. For just a little effort of reading the first pages, you'll get the gist of the thread.

It's not fooling anyone, no one can be this stupid, these users (the newbies) posting are most likely bots or account farmers, they have no intention to invest whatsoever. If this thread is helpful then that would be to catch these bots and spammers who post basely on the thread's title without reading anything.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any alternative to atomic swap? on: May 09, 2019, 07:08:57 PM
So in your opinion bisq, block DX, barterdex, swap.online, atomic wallet shouldn't be considered working projects?

I wouldn't say so, no. It's just that the supported coins are always the same. LTC, BTC, and ETH so there is much more work for it and If it didn't need any further development like I said, exchanges would've been obsolete by now.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 50 coins that are worth looking at? on: May 09, 2019, 05:57:58 PM
Coinmarketcap or any other similar site lists are meaningless. Even though there are many betters coins out there history has shown us that the only coins that we could trust are BTC, LTC, and ETH. The people behind these projects serve the community and not their own agendas and we've seen that through the years.

In my opinion, there will be no killer app for either BTC or ETH for the simple reason that both blockchains are scalable (whether directly or 2nd layer solutions) and the community is simply too big to simply vanish.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Any alternative to atomic swap? on: May 09, 2019, 08:58:38 AM
I'm not aware of any. Developers and services seem to be focusing on it, and I haven't seen any other proposals. But since it's built on the lightning network, it's far from being finished.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current bounty campaigns that can make you rich? on: May 08, 2019, 06:05:16 PM
No one knows otherwise everyone would be rich by now, don't you think?

You can participate in bounty campaigns of projects with a lot of hype. In other words, these projects will have a successful ICO but that also means that it will have a lot of participants, so your share may not be anything significant.

I would recommend going with projects that have good potential, but not too high, that way there are not many participants. It's better to also target signature campaigns because there are less people than in the social media campaigns, therefore your share will be higher.

I think currently, projects that you could never go wrong with as long as the team behind is legit are the coins with a use case (like exchanges, e.g BNB).
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance was hacked=> Everyone should be wary of your wallet and trade on Binance on: May 08, 2019, 04:58:00 PM
For the short term, I don't think the price will be affected in any way. It does seem though like this hack is a win for them and also will work out in their favor the long term, as it only shows how professional they are and how they care about their users.

Regardless though, people should not be reckless about storing their funds in there just because Binance announced that the user's assets are unaffected, one should always stay in full control of his private keys, think of this hack as a way of learning a lesson.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Omni tokens and SegWit on: May 08, 2019, 03:02:39 PM
I've never heard of cases where people store Omni tokens such as MAID or USDT into SegWit addresses (specifically, the ones starting with bc1). Is it possible?

If yes, how can one spend the funds afterward? I was thinking about storing an amount of USDT in an Electrum address (bc1) and then spend them using Omniwallet, but I don't think segwit is supported there yet.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining VEIL on: May 06, 2019, 01:21:21 PM
Whattomine was totally inaccurate and kept giving me negative profit for some reason, even though I was setting the electricity to 0$. Cointomine gave better and much realistic results.

I want to know though, is it possible to basically mine and stake at the same coins that are being mined, automatically without the need of refreshing some settings or restarting etc.?
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10,000$ - Where to invest? on: May 06, 2019, 10:15:08 AM
I think the question needs to be more specific.. Do you mean within the crypto space or any form of investment.  My candid opinion is diversification of portfolio..If this is all you hold from the crypto space I will advice you liquidate Into other investment options which are not as volatile as cryptocurrencies in order not to be overdependent on market upturn for profits..

I'm not putting all my money in one basket If that's what you are asking. I'm looking for something within the crypto space and I'm aware of the risks. These 10,000$ is something I could live without.

I am currently re-entering into crypto after big pause and had the same question on my mind. With some random research I believe that nothing has changed in the crypto world.

Its just having that stagnancy in it and growing too slowly. Before leaving the crypto I took shot with hardware mining and it is going just way smoothly than I expected.

The only hard thing with the mining investment is you need to have lot of patience. After sloppy slap of ethereum price I'm bit in loss but over the time it'd come up I know.

You can put your money at stake in differnet curencies but that did not go well to me since a year now.

Literally there are huge piles of altcoins I'm holding and none of them gave me good paychecks. So you can count on hardware mining for longer goals.

Ethereum is switching to POS from what I read, so it would be a waste of money to invest into GPUs right now. As for other mining options, most of the time, the GPUs used for mining are not available here in my country. If I buy them abroad, it will cost me much more for shipping, not to mention the risk of having them seized because of the customs.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] savedroid - BITCOIN SAVING MADE EASY! on: May 06, 2019, 09:46:06 AM
The price of $SVD needs to moon with the bull. Team what's the plan regarding this?

That's not easy, if major altcoins have no moon yet, we will not likely see a bull for SVD.
They need to take care of their trading volume first, with lower volume we cannot sell our tokens even we are in the bull run.

The sad truth here is that there is no plan and even If there is, it won't be a working one. The team screwed up when they made everyone feel like this was an exit scam (which was the case, but they went back from it for some reason).
60  Economy / Service Discussion / Purse.io privacy on: May 05, 2019, 04:53:13 PM
For those who used the website before. How private our information's are? To be more specific, the addresses.

Whenever I want to buy an item, do I need to communicate on live chat with the seller, and give him my address or it has to be in my profile? In other words, does the website know about it or only the person I'm dealing with?
