Dev, can you put up some buy support? To show you are committed to the project?
He did it at 3 satoshi.

To solo mining users: just please post how many blocks did you find last 24h and how many TB do you have. Thx.

Dev left, but still some people are buying this coin. Faith?

In real life I am managing a petabyte-sized renderfarm, and storage alone at this scale is not easy.
According to your experience , what would be the typical life span of a HDD mining burst (for example , WD green 3 TB) ? And if it's less than a year , would a HDD that mine burst be able to RMA ? HDD mining = reading data from HDD = normal using HDD. You can send it to RMA anytime (under warranty).

you guys just blame everything to dev, you know what dev is busy at? at first, every miners crying "we need pool", and dev took a week to develop a pool, and release it as soon as possible, that is v1, because he had did his best to let pool work as soon as possible, and after few days, he release the v2 because lots of us crying not willing to waste the solo plots. after pool v2 released, you guys crying need gpu plots, dev begin to try to make a gpu plot. and it seems he tried lots of time and not succeed until several guys released the gpu plot, and dev also give a new opencl, let you have a better performance, then , you guys crying "we need bitrex exchange", and dev take his time to update the wallet to 1.1.2 and add several new api to fill the needs of bittrex, now burst are on the bittrex, you guys can't wait to transfer you coins to bittrex, and sell as fast as you can do, and at last, found burst's price falling fast, and you guys start to complain the dev's developing is so slow...this is a funny story. i don't know whether dev own you , did he distribute the coin with ipo? did he get bitcoin from you? did he treat you or forcing you to mine the burst?
+1 great summary. It's exactly what happening right now. All their crying are just implied one thing: "give me money and I will shut up, otherwise I will scream forever". Yep, I can add: "I bought several HDD and why the price is so low now? Dev let do something." Just kids....

Plotting veerryy slowly right now for one bank of drives - 10TB there. Going to move it to a different machine with a GPU to speed up plotting. Other bank is 12TB and they are plotting much quicker. Is 22TB a reasonable number to solo mine with or shall I use a pool? Thx for input.
Total 22 TB? You should get arround 2 blocks per 24h.

I am solo mining, have been for about 12 hours. I do not see any transactions on my wallet(s) yet. Is this normal? Would a pool present quicker payouts?
How many TB do you have?

A great start would be to get Rootcoin added to another major exchange. However I don't know what is required to make this happen??
What do we need to do to get a Rootcoin on Cryptsy or Mintpal or Bter?
next station should be Mint V2 or bter, which can bring more people. Any leaks?

any predictions? Price too low now!
Price will fall. There are too many miners and too many coins delivered per day.

Rich list position: looks nice.

Hey guys! Congrats on getting added to Bittrex I was wondering if anybody could give me an idea of hard it is to mine this coin. Like how many coins I can expect per day with around 12 MH rate? Just trying to figure out which would be better at this point, buying directly on the exchange or mining. Thanks and good luck! At this price/diff ratio coin is very cheap. So if you pay energy bills the better idea is to buy some instead of mine.
