Lol If i had any Cash.  Even if I had $10,000   I wouldnt buy BTc or Hardware.   I would build a building big enough to host a few TH/s  or maybe a PH/s but small enough to be easier maintain at the lower level

It's my goal.  make a building say.   20-30feet by 30 feet by 30 feet.  And filll it ALL up with BITCOIN hardware,   Having probably 2 Networks so say 50-150 Miners with 2-3 Networks to minimize Crosstalk and noise... Also to reducde Collision domains.  The more miners u have on one network the more collisions Domains you have... Thus increasing HWE and Dropped worked. and increase probability

more Networks for ur miners say 1 network for every 50 miners = Less Noise/Crosstalk,  Less collision Domains.

But in total.  Itll be enough to make some real money.   Probably have 2 1200-3000CFM Fans going fill tilt 24/7  possibly Air Con controlled.

theres 25million Bitcoin in the world to be mined.  and we in total to this day have only mined about 3600-3800 so we got MUCH MUCH TIme untill the market plummets.

Mine as well work my way up there so when the time comes...... The profit rolls in.

Lol Ill probably run a huge server room with Antminer S3s S2s and possibly some Dragon Miners, I'm all for the standalone miners.

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Oh the Future and our dreams... if only it was realness/.

I thought it would be neat to post my little setup here(this is barely half my hashpower)

I added a 2nd s1 to that setup...   No cooling needed right

S3 doesn't go over 36-42
S1 doesn't go over 40-44

Hi cris,

Like the set up, buddy!

The wire shelfs definitely help the air circulation.  Thanks for sharing.  I'm not sure how much longer it will remain on the forum.  You can also post at "Minor Porn" at the following link:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766998.40

And this link as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=758505.40

Ye it'll probs get removed.   People should learn and get ideas from it.    Been wanting to share my setup that I have outside on a balcony in the open.    Not the best setup.... Not the best setup...   Retains heat in the summer...    Just hoping my miners or PSUs don't get fried due to the winter and extreme cold... :O

Bottom left side iv got a switch setup(I used an old router as my switch .   And the 1100w power bar for 2 miners and a fan.    And I got another exention cable with 3 port.

Pulling probably 1200-1400w.  From one outle .  1 socket in hat outlet is pulling about 800-100w 2nd socket is about 400-550

Window is directly above the minersso it makes easy for cooling.

Hope this can help everyone else.   This here is about 850gh/s.   Of my 1.6th/s

Wouldnt surprise  me if it was arson......
Possibly, but with such a huge amount of kit the risk of something going fzzzzt! even if all the cabling is up to scratch becomes a near-certainty, given that computer manufacturers shave every penny they can by using the lowest spec components they can get away with (e.g. 16V capacitors in a 14V circuit, where I would use 24V or higher) - one of the most common causes of boards letting out the smoke soon after the warranty expires.

Yea. Thats just it.  If and qhen i setup my bitcoin farm...   im buying the best thingsa... why... because the more u spend on ur cables and such.. the less ull have to fix or replace them and tje less theHow much for the canister of dip.... not the spray.   I need the dip so i can dip my objects into it???   They will fail.

Somethings cheap is nice...   but soneimes expensive is always better.    Expensive....in the end.... saves u alot more money.

One thing i would do and sspend big on.. if my cabling and cooling.
Some peps just liie cheap to roi faster.

Not me. Sometimes going big and expensive will laat u allloot longer and Roi much ffaster

There is only one thing good that comesout of that farm fire.... a possibke lowered diff or higher $/btc.  Wouldnt surprise  me if it was arson...... id kinda expect it with people adding so much more hashpower bc these new miners knocking everyone else out of the game.... personally i wouldnt blame them.... but it still sucks mjorly... all that money probably gone to total waste..... (not insured or covered) good luck with the ROI

Sucks though.   Thats one thing iv always been worried about.... but a proper setup and a clean setup and prevent this alot.

I have 2  s1s outside in this shelf with plastic around it to protect it from the weather...   all that worries ne about it....  is when winter comes and my PSUS crapping out or miners crap out due to extreme cold exposure.

My theiry is...   if i dont have super powerful fans on the.  And i oc them to 200gh/s  maybe itll keep this enclosed area toasty warm.

But ill find out if a 1 of my 2 750w psus go bye bye.

Prettylong blocks we getting so far Sad    lol maybe i shoukd buy $550k  worth of hardware...   cause clearly people rather buy more and more and more... and diff goes off bc so many  were bought... so now u buy more and more and more..     and than it goes up.  And now ur buyi g 3x as many.

My theory makes more sense.     Have people run a kess amount of miner so the diff goes down.. thus increasing ur profit alot better.

It's saddening to see the Diff shoot up so fast so high.  in so little.

Curse you Bitmain and these new hardware.   I fix my hardware and my setups outside and indor for winter..  I turn on another S1 to catch up a bit.. bringing me up to 1.6TH/s and now in a day.. itll all be for nothing... Well not nothing.. but yea.

Dang i need a real Job, or need to wait for a higher $/BTC and order some S3s.

Soon.. ill be out of the race once again Sad

God.. Why did i ever spend so much damn money into Remote Control Cars...... Why didnt i invest it all into BTC hardware..

Dang hobbies.. why you gotta be so fun.

And bc i luve in canada.    Nine of these bitcoin miner manufactureres operate in canada meanibg... long wait for shipment, big shipping cost. And ppossibly customs fee.

Such a pain.  But bugger is better

check it out they also have canada links . for shipping Smiley .

I see so many that complain  that live in the US till they see that .

well any way

I love this pool, from time to time it gives a very good yield but its like anything it comes and goes i keep looking for the best poss fastest way of mining .

GL

damn   $522 for 2 minets with shiping or $380 /w free shipping...    not bad if ur buying singles at a tine.   But not worth it for bulk buys.    Still beats the cist if my first s3s which cost me $450.00.   I got like 1500.00 worth of s1s and i only paid for 3-4 of them.no joke.

S4s for ne are going to wait till like b3-5  s3s fir biw.  Mke a rickminer to pull 800gh/s

But hmm.   This gets ny hopes yp

I like the setup compact but seems to work great.

Probably a year or so from now if iv got a warehouse owned or a small 50x50x20 room   i will be setting it all up wit miners.      My goalis to be a smal btc farm that has obe of the highest amounts of hashing power.

Working on college for IT which is my start to owning my owb small business.  My goal is to reach  is extravagent but the thigs iv seen and heard.   I believe i can make  50x50x20 structure with 15-20+ th/s

Hardest part is finding the funds to make this all happen while faceing the debts of schooling

I find it INCREDIBLY fascinating seeing others mining setups.   Its quite interesting.

I understand how student loan debt goes.  My wife is an accountant.  She had a lot of student loan debt at one time.  It's paid off now.  I go my education from the United States Marine Corp.  However, the economy has slowed down my business of training telephone technicians as of late.  They've cut budgets a lot over the last few years.  When they do, "training" is one of the first things they cut.  So, I had to come up with something to make up for lost income.  Mining was the ticket... I HOPE!!!

Yes, I too like to look at other set ups in the forums on here and on youtube.

I'm determined to get between 23 and 30 TH/s going eventually in this closet with temperatures on all rigs no higher than 43 or 44 degrees Celsius with the door closed.

I REALLY BELIEVE that 14 inch exhaust fan with 16 inch filtered return grill will get me there concerning the temperatures.  I may end up selling the S3's on eBay some day and replacing them with S4's as well in the future.

Thanks for the comments.

I did make a mistake buying the 8 inch exhaust fan.  Hopefully, others can learn from my mistake if they too decide to do their set up inside a small 3.5 feet x 5.5 feet closet similar in size to mine.

That was ny concern to.   I needed a source of income while in school  when i dont have an income atm.    As u said     Bitcoin was the answer.    Its been slow.  But its helping.

Thinking of ordering 2 s3s from bitmain and possibly sell some of my s1s.   Or create a better setup for my outside on the balcony setup( id shiw picsbut its bot near me)

The downfall.    That setup  in the summer.  That hit 55- 60c  theres s1s with 2 200rpn coolermaster fans in each(which i think rises the heat)

But once winters comes, wont have to worry about them getting hot.   I think the heat will just nelt the snow. Im at 1.4th/s atm.

THank god i have yet to worry about hydo cost D

Spent $3.00 on btc when it hit like $320/btc.    Cashing it out when we hit $450-600/btc+   turn 3.00 into 10 is my plan.

WOW...  55 to 60 Celsius was getting pretty hot.  I would try to replace those S1's with S3's as soon as possible.  They both use the same watts but the S3's are more than twice the hashing power.  Of course, you know that.

My power costs are really outstanding compared to most other States:

Summer (June-Sept)              Winter (Oct-May)
Base Charge   $14.50                Base Charge   $14.50
First 1000 kWH   $0.077823       First 750 kWH   $0.077823
Over 1000 kWH   $0.080352       Over 750 kWH   $0.065823

Haha.     Not bad.   My old housewas .08centkwh so i always win.   Now   i run all my miners on hydro i dont pay Cheesy.

Ye it is hot.   Gets scary.   There gonna be ny s3 soon(ill pist a  pic of the setup this weekend(morr mods coming)    i have all the stock fans off of these 2 miners which doesnt help much.

I run an s1and s3 at home in ny bedroom..... lol weird right..... naw ny oen freeheat source(which iv got reduced by about 3 -5c.    Got a small intake from in my window to force in the cold air and a medium sized fan industrial grade (but quite)   on the intake side if my miners blowing the  heat up.

(Been thinking if anither fan to pull the heat and vlow it through my houses duck wirk.

Meh.   Its a slow WIP. But i live by spend money to make money.

Dk if illl find any s3s for .42-.52 btc with shippping included.   But i hope so.   Im afraud to buy from bitmain bc of the thibgs iv heard about their lack of care or support etc.     But itl all work out i hope.

Ine thing ill need.. for sure is A/C.   S3s dont rlly need anymore cooling besided a cool area aroubd them(even then mines never breached 46)

Yea the s3suse 5-10% less watts and using 750w psus for all of mine Cheesy

Arg.   I got 2 s1s just sitting in ny closet collecting dust bc idk whrre to put them.

If anyone here is intersted in vbuying some s1s    fir cheap let me know.  Ill accept btc and paypal.

The temperature on all the rigs are 2 degrees celsius warmer with the door closed than with it open now that the vent is installed.  It was approximately 5 degrees celsius warmer with the door closed without a vent installed.

Temps on some with door open are rig on left side top 42/40; rig on top center 45/38; rig on top right 43/40; rig on bottom shelf 41/40

Temps on the same rigs with door closed are 2 degrees celsius warmer than what you see here.  Reminder, 2 box fans up high and 1 circular fan down low are going inside the closet.

I'm CERTAIN when the 14 inch exhaust fan is installed and connected to a 16" x 16" square box with 16" x 16" filtered return air grill that the temps should at least be the same as what they are right now with the door open and with box fans.

The return air grill will be more than twice the size of what is in there right now.  The CFM will also jump from 720 CFM to 1700 CFM [More than twice as much suction].

Why Slush no talk on his own pools forums.......   Let alone update his own website with update to date information (half of its years old)

Lol.   I alsp think Ghash is going downhill.  I used to never have problems with them.. no everytime i go to log in.....

http://imgur.com/8AdA7Rw

this is starting to happen on like all of my computers and different networks.    This is usually a sign of MitM attacks.

PS.  Dont get ur hopes up to much with the luck.     I've switched some miners myself due to lack of reward for my hashpower.... and lack of blocks.

I'll be back soon.  once i see the lucks gotten better.... hopefully it doesnt stay like this when the diff rises again....its starting to seem like it.

The forum got too out of control same questions over and over and over.  He does update the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/MiningBitcoinCz?ref=br_tf

JT

Yea but updating your facebook page means nothing when people visit the mining pool before the facebook page(usually)   and still.  it sounds like poor work when you cant comment on your OWN POOLS forums.

Thats like saying microsoft or any other company isnt going to ever help anybody ever again because its always the same questions being asked over and over..... but people and the company still help because its the right thing to do... AND BECAUSE THEY OWN IT.

Seems alot of people these days arent actually dedicated to what they do.

Everytime iv visited Slushs pool i was always turned off by the very very old news and announcments etc.

Yea the pool itself is updated..  but what good  is that when the site is old and outdated.

It sickens me that people waste their own work because they cant handle other people.  (thats not dedication)

If slush is dedicated to this than why has he stopped commenting on the forums... stopped updating the website.....  and only bothers with the facebook page.

It sickens me more than anything.

Hopefully the dedication rises.     If you love someone,  if you enjoy what you do anmd are dedicated.... dont ever give up.    I've never seen a pool that gets more respect, trust and greatfulness than Slushs pool.

People asking the same question over and over....  live with it and suck it up.. because thats reality...   and it happens on  daily basis

Last one Grin

A teacher was teaching her second grade class about the government, so for homework that one day, she told her her students to ask their parents what the government is.

When Little Johnny got home that day, he went up to his dad and ask his what the government was.

His dad thought for a while and answered, ''Look at it this way: I'm the president, your mom is Congress, your maid is the work force, you are the people and your baby brother is the future.''

''I still don't get it'' responded the Little Johnny.

''Why don't you sleep on it then? Maybe you'll understand it better,'' said the dad.
''Okay then...good night'' said Little Jonny went off to bed.

In the middle of the night, Little Johnny was awakened by his baby brother's crying. He went to his baby brother's crib and found that his baby brother had taken a crap in his diaper. So Little Johnny went to his parent's room to get help.

When he got to his parent's bedroom, he looked through the keyhole to check if his parents were asleep. Through the keyhole he saw his mom loudly snoring, but his dad wasn't there. So he went to the maid's room.

When he looked through the maid's room keyhole, he saw his dad having sex with his maid.

Little Johnny was surprised, but then he just realized something and thinks aloud, ''OH!! Now I understand the government! The President is screwing the work force, Congress is fast asleep, nobody cares about the people, and the future is full of s**t!''

Loo billbags. That literally sounds aboyt right.

Ps ur jokes make me LMAO

I'm a Ship Captain, so I hope you also can find this funny...........

ACTUAL transcript of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October, 1995. This radio conversation was released by the Chief of Naval Operations on 10-10-95.

Americans: "Please divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision."

Canadians: "Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision."

Americans: "This is the captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course."

Americans: "THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN, THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH.
