"D" rated books

coinbet24.com D+ (2015)
1xbit.com D (2016)

mBet.io seems to be a clone of the BetCris, Bookmaker family.

BitcoinRush has Pinnacle-like odds!

Nitrogen is good but their odds are not quite Pinnacle-like.

JetWin seems to have odds like the Jazz, SBG Global family.

I still can't figure out who's odds BetCoin.ag odds resemble. Not as good as Pinnacle's odds.

CoinBet24 has horrible odds!

Being from the U.S., I can't play with SportsBet.io or Anonibet.

I use Fairlay exclusively. I really think you should include them. They are very good and have Pinnacle-like odds. Why not include them? Just make a note that they are an Exchange. Maybe some find the layout a little confusing? They are better than any of the Books you have listed, although now that BitCoin Rush has Pinnacle odds, I will look to use them also.

i've noticed that when I click to Confirm a wager, it doesn't give me a confirmation notice. It just sits there and the little bubbles flash and no money comes off my balance. I have to go into my orders to see if it has been accepted or not. If it is, if I then refresh my screen the balance gets updated. Anyone else have this glitch? It's been happening to me for some time now. I'm using Google Chrome on Mac OS X. Thanks.

We will look into it asap.   Did it happen in market, search  or card view?  Do you have a link to the market where it happened?!   Thanks a lot for your help!

It happens ever time I hit the Confirm button, no matter the sport. From after a Search for a Team and then picking a wager.

Thanks!

my balance is in parrnthesis and i cant bet with them.anybody knows why this happening?

Read about the on-hold rule in our FAQs

Here is Fairlay's unusual settlement policy - under the FAQs, under Info. I was wondering why my funds were taking so long to settle. I placed a larger than usual wager, so a big chunk of my balance is held up for 24 hours. Bummer.

#6 Additional Reserved Funds after April 1st
After April 1st 2018 the amount (stake + winnings) of the largest market settlement of the last 24 hours is not available for betting, transfer or withdraw.  This means that you can only withdraw your entire bankroll if 24 hours since your last settlement have passed. Only the largest settlement is considered, other settlements have no influence on your available funds.

This rule is intended to protect Fairlay from occasional missettlements, which are usually corrected within 24 hours. Exchange and Dice markets are exempted from this rule as missettlements do not happen in these categories.

The amount put on hold is designed in a way that no user can obtain a negative balance if any single market, that was settled in the last 24 hours, is resettled to a different outcome.

In June 2018 we will implement an option to opt out of this rule for an additional non-reducible commission of 0.1% on all market net-winnings.

Anyone know if Betcoin.ag has odds similar or exactly the same as any other well-known books?

They look like William Hill on some sports.

I'd like to know more about how books get their odds and keep them active, up to date and dynamic. So many to keep track of and keep up to date. Is it manual or electronic and automated?

Sportsbooks get their matchups, games and odds from a variety of providers and they also create their own depending on the contest in real time constantly twenty four hours every day.  From there their staff continues to fine tune, adjust maxes and ensure that everything is proper.  It is a mix of automation and manual work.  More and more manual for the more established books.  As they grow in staff and player size they are able to do a lot more manual work to the games, odds and lines provided.

Some books will book to action trying to get 50/50 action while other books clone the lines of another book using the same margin or an adjusted margin. Other books will move lines on bets by professionals.

Thanks! I can't seem to assign Betcoin.ag as a clone of any other Book, so they must be doing their own odds.

Does anyone know if Powerbet.io closed up and ran off with all customer balances? Or did they refund some account money before closing?

can you confirm how long is currently taking you to process regular withdrawals?

been waiting for over 5h and amount is less that 60 mbtc

That seems unusual. My "regular" withdrawal took only 20 minutes.

But it may be that Fairlay has done their part and it is just delayed in being posted on the receiving site? Under Statement, does Fairlay show it as "completed" or "in process?"

Nothing has changed about priority. They should be almost instant.

Good to know. Thanks!

Regular is about $1.65 USD. (.25 mBTC)
Priority is about $2.65 USD. (.40 mBTC)
Based on BTC currently at $6,618 USD

How long do withdrawals take these days? Regular and Priority?

Thanks!

Done.

It took about 20 minutes with the Regular Withdrawal fee.

Thanks!

Can someone help me understand why arbitrage betting would not be allowed? If an operator is accepting bets at specified odds, does it really matter if the bet is a regular one or an arbitrage bet?
I'm thinking the same thing whatever should be the outcome of the match the bookie should still profit cmiiw. The only reason I could think about is to lessen the risk that they will face in their site.

I agree. You would think they would be happy for the action and the commissions. If they are confident that they always and consistently post good lines, (which I think they do) then no one can take advantage. I think what happens though, is that arbitragers will eventually catch them with some bad lines and beat them. Pinnacle welcomes arbitragers because they are confident that their lines will always deliver them a profit in the long term and they will never get caught with a bad line.

I don't know whether this deserves a down vote, but Nitrogen is also under a lot of criticism for not crediting their players with Bitcoin Cash. That means they are holding hundreds of thousands of dollars in players' rightly deserved Bitcoin Cash. Nitrogen claims they notified players to remove their Bitcoin and put it in some other wallet if they wanted to get credit for Bitcoin Cash at the time of the Fork August 1, 2017. But they didn't do a very good job of notifying players. They just put a post in their obscure blog and maybe a banner notice on their site. But they didn't send out direct emails notifying players. They certainly didn't want everyone cashing out all of their Bitcoin. Many think they were not holding and do not hold all of players' money in Bitcoin and therefore they didn't get credit for enough Bitcoin Cash to actually credit players. So now they are in a bit of a bind as players are demanding their Bitcoin Cash. Otherwise, I think they are a good book and my experience with them has been good, but this is a black eye.
56  Economy / Gambling / Re: POWERBET.IO [Uncensored] Legal action possible! on: January 29, 2018, 04:23:21 PM
Has anyone been able to identify who PowerBet.io was and where they are or were located?
Do they have a parent company?
Are they morphing into another dodgy sportsbook with a new name to rinse and repeat and rip more people off?
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: POWERBET.IO [Uncensored] Legal action possible! on: January 29, 2018, 01:28:00 AM
PowerBet.io site is now gone. I just get a 404 error code. Have they taken the last of the money and run? Or did they change their url?

Seems PowerBet.io is offline now. Did they finally take the rest of the money and run?

Okay, so it's just taking this long.

I did one from 5Dimes the same time and it came through the same day. But it looks like the transaction fee cost me $62!

I'm not in a big hurry so at least I know it is in the pipeline and for a reasonable fee. I'll do priority next time.

Thanks!

Still waiting on a cashout from January 5. Is the network that jammed up?!
