42  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Happy New Year, Enjoy New Feature in 2016 on: January 02, 2016, 04:29:19 AM
I don't think it is fun in case missing any one feature of Margin and Futures. so the answer is quite obvious, OTC trade is the greatest possibility.

44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: a realistic arb. plan, buy btceUSD sell lakeUSD, just need a trading bot on: December 08, 2014, 03:18:10 AM
Yeah. Sure. As long as you monitor enough exchanges and enough coin types, there's always some profit somewhere. I've seen most opportunities with coins, I've never heard of before.
Shocked  I remember someone told me that there is no room for arbitrage forever since the exchange fee, until now I learned that less and less fee on exchanges, so bad the guys!

it looks that I missed many money for it, you see, how high the price at LakeBTC these days, why me always hurted  Cry
Cheesy money is always here to wait you, never late

We added API sample code in a number of programming languages including Node.js, Ruby, Python, PHP and Java.

Also, LakeBTC API was integrated to Gekko, an open source bitcoin trading bot.

Check it out folks!

hello, I like your in-browser tool Laketrader, can you develop a more complete functionality into mobile client?? thank you

LakeBTC website is responsive and should work well on mobile devices

We do have plans to release iOS and Android apps. Stay tuned please.

49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There are only 5 exchanges which 24h trading volume over 1,000 on: December 02, 2014, 07:31:18 AM

Bitfinex even more than the sum of the next three exchanges, it shows that most people love the futures compared bitcoins that they are eager to get rich quickly through futures, bitcoin gold dollars etc no matter what type of futures, as long as it's easy, they are willing to go there.

Bitstamp has a strict AML-KYC rule, but it still is nearly 10,000 volume, so people think it will be good place for a long period to buy and sell bitcoin.

BTC-e seems to be declining, its more business is focus on altcoins, I think it would be fewer and fewer people go BTC-e for its high deposit/withdrawal fees.

LakeBTC has a lower fee and more simple rules than Bitstmap, sometimes the volume exceeds BTC-e, trade on LakeBTC may like their service.

Kraken only 1,000 volume, it less than my imagined.

1. Bitfinex offers leveraged trading, but not futures.
2. You're looking at the wrong exchanges. There are multiple exchanges that each themselves have more volume than all of those put together.

1. Is swap not one of futures??
2. What mean?
1. Forget it, that's correct technically.
2. Chinese-based exchanges.

2.
ok, a reddit topic are disscussing that.

High volume? Despite the greater volume means that it may have a better liquidity, but I think it is not a requirement, the volume most likely are fake. CHBTC, a little-known exchange have 80,000 volume per day, my god, Bitstamp and Bitfinex just have 10,000 as well as LakeBTC and BTC-e only 3,000 poor volume. Even China has a huge population that mean China may be more bitcoin traders, you could not lie to me like so.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures with 20x leverage... what a rush. on: November 24, 2014, 10:07:35 AM

52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lower the price, Greater the volume on LakeBTC.com on: November 24, 2014, 09:44:04 AM
theory is that the lower price, the less cost of trading,

if the trading funds is fixed, the price is lower, the volume is more.

e.g.
$1000 can trade 10 times at $100/BTC, but it only trade 5 times at $200/BTC

58  Economy / Speculation / Re: which exchange has the most liquid currently? on: November 03, 2014, 07:43:24 AM
Taking into account verification, deposits / withdrawals, security, volume, fees, and service,

Which exchange can I register an account to complete verification the most convenient, transfer btc to fiat or transfer fiat to btc the maximum efficiency, then withdralal the fastest.
[...]

Where are you located? If you are in the same area as the bank that an exchange uses, it will speed things up significantly.

Wire transfers from your bank to an exchange take longer than an other system called SEPA that is only available in the EU. If you are located in the EU and you choose an exchange also located in the EU then you can transfer money faster.
Liquidity depends on the place where you are. china exchange is not suitable for you if you are not in china.

This is the cart before the horse, it should bitcoin run other coins.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: Random thoughts on flash crashes on: November 03, 2014, 07:23:50 AM
Do not care these flash crash, hold your bitcoin in the storm comes, tomorrow the price would to the mars.
The more experienced flash crashes, the price will be more stable. This is one reason for long-term holding Bitcoin

wish you are right, but the key is how to avoid flash crashes
the price is going to fall $350. when does it flash jump?

At least you can say the price is stable now. Try to comfort yourself under any circumstances
what you mean? the price is below $330, and broken $300 soon
